This game is awesome! It feels more like a story than a game but it was so creative, fun, and the art is amazing. The ghost was simple but had a ton of character. Great Job!

Great game! I really like the music, sfx, graphics, and game play. This is a really polished game for a quick game jam so good job!
1 bug I noticed is that when I was trying to turn up my volume, F12 on my keyboard, the player started moving left. Not a huge deal but just wanted to let you know. Good job!
Congrats on another jam completed! This was a fun game, and honestly the SFX and music slapped! Just two things I noticed that would really polish up the game are some collisions especially in narrow doorways seemed a bit off and the animations for the player and guards being upside down when walking in certain directions. I think those two things and then maybe adding 10 levels and you'd have a really complete, polished game. Great work to your team!
Wow! This game is fantastic and you should be super proud of yourself. I loved the concept and honestly didn't want to stop playing. It is definitely a bit challenging but I really enjoy how your level design and tutorials slowly introduced you to greater complexity.
A couple updates that I think would make this game even better. The ability to copy grabber arms and group select to move objects. The help board is pretty good but a little more detail could be nice. Oh also maybe a fast forward mode, I like that you can iterate but once you've got the puzzle figured out it would be nice to speed up the cycles to either see a mess up later or hopefully complete the level.
Again, such a fantastically fun puzzle game!
I thought this was really fun! Frustrating at times but I enjoyed it. I thought it was weird that most mini-games were played with the mouse and then randomly one was played with the spacebar. I know it's supposed to be a quick reaction game but I thought that was a little annoying. Great game overall though!
I love the name and the main menu art had me laughing hysterically! It was a fun twist on the tower defense genre and would've been cool to get to the point where my people retired and I presumably got to adopt another child (?), I never got there but did try!
It was pretty laggy on my machine so could probably use some optimizations. I kinda liked that it was non-stop waves, you had to make decisions really quickly, but also it was why the lag was more noticeable and more annoying.
Great job and a great game! I had a huge smile the whole time I was playing it.
The game was easy to understand pretty quickly and I played it for a while trying to upgrade my army. The baguette sword was amazing! I also really enjoyed the background music. Thought this was a super well designed game overall. Great Work!
My only improvement is that it would be nice to see what the quests are without having to click on each of them.
The art all across the board was fantastic, and particularly I really like the background music. I found the game a bit hard to understand at first and don't know that I ever fully appreciated it. Maybe a tutorial would help or introduce game elements one to a few at a time just to let the user understand it more. Regardless I thought it was great and liked the knight hitting the slime animation!
Fun implementation of the 1 button constraint! It was a lot of fun to play. I really liked the art and music!
The only piece of constructive feedback I have is to investigate coyote timing. If it was included in the game the timing was too short.
The pencil drawing the line was cool. I thought it was going to give me more platforms to jump off of which would have been an interesting mechanic but was cool for the immersion too! Great job!
I love this! The spinner selector was a really creative way to place buildings (and operate menus) while only having access to the one button. The art in the game is really good but also the tutorial that looks like was written in paint is just charming and funny. I was laughing the whole time I was playing this game.
My only negative feed back is the sound was super loud right away. Maybe have that start lower and then create a settings menu to adjust.
Well done!
This was a creative use of one button to make a game that is quite sophisticated. I played the first couple of levels and it is a hard game but lots of fun. It feels more like a puzzle game than a platformer in the sense that it seems like the level design is more about planning out your route first and then trying to execute it.
The art and sound are fantastic and really add the polish to this game.
I don't have a ton of constructive feedback cause this was really well done. I think having a few simpler levels to start as "tutorial" type that show the player the abilities of their character could be nice. For example I didn't realize immediately that any wall reset my double jump. Super great game overall!
Fun game for the 1 button! Here is some feedback to help you in the future:
Pros:
-The art is really well done! The background especially gives a feeling of depth to the game despite it being 2D.
-The game is challenging but actually a lot of fun. The way you implemented the high score mechanic was great, would be cool to add a leaderboard in the future but I liked that it saved my score so I could keep trying.
Improves:
-Adding some sound would great. Even just a jump sound would immediately make the game more immersive, but also some country-western music in the background would be nice.
-The arc followed by the cowboy just felt a little off. I would refine that a bit. Almost felt like he came down to quickly and didn't have enough float.
-For the use control I felt that it was a little weird to have the space bar "release" be when the jump event occurred.
Great game for the jam!
I just wanted to say thank you for all of the feedback. This was only my second game jam and I'm learning a lot but detailed feedback like this is invaluable. BTW enemies did make the player lose coins but I understand why you probably missed it lol I think a major area I need to improve is providing information/feedback to the player.
Thank you again!
The core concept of this game is great and honestly made me want to just keep continue playing. I found that I was getting caught on the edges of things and the movement didn't quite feel like I was pushing around a shopping cart. I say these things because with a small amount of polishing and maybe a couple more levels I would pay money for this. Great job!
