Thank you! I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed it. 🤗 Thanks for organizing the jam. I’ve always wanted to try something with a cozy vibe and your jam was the perfect opportunity.

Thank you! I'm sorry to hear that it crashed for you. The current state of Godot's web exports isn't quite stable yet, but I'm glad you were eventually able to enjoy it. Thanks again for the beautiful music. I'll definitely be back for more.

Thank you so much for playing! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I'd like to continue development and improvements.

I'll look into the graphical issue you mentioned. If I may ask, was this a constant bug, or only occasional?

The engine version I used doesn't "technically" support web exports (yet) so that may be the culprit. I did notice the occasional graphic mishap when testing, but it was hard to pinpoint a cause.

I'm glad to hear that it didn't affect the experience too much. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi Alex! Love your music. Wanted to let you know that I used one of your delightful tracks (Daisy) in my recent Game Jam submission, https://jonathanball.itch.io/turny-woods. It's exactly the vibe I wanted.

Thank you! That's very kind of you to say.

In hindsight, Level 6 (and 10) was not a great idea. I wanted to push things to the extreme, but went a bit  too far. 😄 There's still a lot of work to be done for the level design and physics. Thanks so much for playing and providing feedback!

Thanks so much for playing and providing feedback! Levels 6 & 10 are problematic for a number of reasons.  😅 I'll be definitely be reworking these and tweaking the physics overall.

Thanks so much for your feedback and suggestions! I may rework the time/scoring system. Could be interesting to just focus on the best clear time.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it.

Love this idea! Nice work.

That would be wonderful. Thank you! https://itch.io/jam/go-godot-jam-4/rate/2067024

I really enjoyed your game!

Great game with an thoughtful concept! I enjoyed handling different mixes of minions. Anger really made me angry though... haha.

Super fun concept! Fits the theme really well. That boss is tough 😅

Thanks! Totally fair. The level design needs a lot more work. Your game is great BTW!

Love the concept! It's super fun and has a wonderful aesthetic.

Thank you! Unfortunately, I can't try your game out because I'm on Mac, but it looks really fun.

Haha... I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing! Yeah, level 6 is a bit of a curveball. Should have probably moved it to later in the game.

Your game gave me anxiety (in a good way) because I'm terrible at typing.

I'm terrible at typing so this was a real challenge for me 😅 but I had fun nonetheless. Great work!

Thank you! I really enjoyed your game as well. Spherical protagonists rule!

Nice, simple concept that's easy to understand, but tough to master! I love the presentation and of course the polka.

I think the ball could start off a bit larger. The difficulty early on is very challenging, but I really enjoyed it.

Thanks so much for playing! Sorry to hear you got stuck—thanks for the feedback. The level design still needs a lot of work.

Your game is fantastic BTW! I really enjoy it.

This is such great concept. Excellent work!

My only complaint is I wish I could move a little faster to line up dashes, but that's probably just me being impatient.

Thanks! Yeah, that option was already ticked. I was hoping there's some other magic button somewhere. I believe it's a MacOS issue (all browsers?)—which is the only OS I have access to, so testing is tough.

I exported in Compatibility Mode and used index.html so I'm not sure what more I can do.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Thanks for letting me know!

Can you share how to fix this setting? I'm at a loss with all of these web export issues.

Thanks for reporting. I'm sorry about that. I used Godot 4, which I'm learning isn't ideal for web exports. I wasn't sure how to resolve these issues.

Fun game that's immediately understood with good difficulty scaling! The zoom/speed options are a great idea.

I also love the character, but I'm a bit biased toward cute lil' robots :P

Really beautiful game with clever puzzles! Such great character design. It took me a minute to figure out that the summons had a variable cost/duration, but once I did it was really enjoyable. Excellent work!

Really clever puzzle game. It took me minute to get the mechanics, but once I did it was super fun. I wasn't able to play/start in Safari, but Chrome worked well. Great submission!

Such a delightful game. A wonderfully fun and clever concept that's very well polished and presented. Honestly, one of my favorites for the jam.

Sure, there's bugs and the pathfinding can be a be frustrating at times, but my biggest complaint is the capped charging interval. I did the math and it would take three hours to get an additional charging port! That's cruel... haha.

Totally fair! It's a bit brutal as-is and needs a lot of work. That's a great point about the collider shape. I actually started with a rect, but I found I could cheese the collision detection for the ground by hanging over edges. The capsule was a quick, hacky fix, XD but it definitely made it much harder.

I'd like to make optional key bindings as well, just ran out of time. It's on the to-do list.

Thanks so much for playing and providing feedback! I really appreciate it.

The whole presentation—art, music, story—has a wonderful, dreamlike quality to it. The music is so so good. The ending sequence is beautiful. Love it!

The movement feels a bit at odds with the tone, but that didn't bother me as much as the rules being inconsistent for traversal. Sometimes the light rays need activation, sometimes no light is necessary, not all the light rays function the same (despite their similar appearance), so it became a bit of a guessing game at times.

That said, it's still a beautiful, serene game and I really enjoyed the experience. Great work!

Yeah, the difficulty curve is too steep in its current state. Needs more levels and a lot more refinement in the movement. Thanks for playing!

That's a great suggestion. It would certainly help lower the anxiety of the platforming. XD Thanks so much for playing and giving feedback!

Haha... That's great! I considered having a countdown timer, but I thought it might be too harsh on top of everything else. Ultimately, I decided on a best time system for potential replay-ability. I'm glad the sense of urgency was still there.

Gotcha! Thanks for clarifying. I might make the falling/sliding an intentional move to provide more options. Thanks again for the feedback.

This is super cute! Love the presentation, sound design, and overall tone.

I was a little confused by the mechanic at first, but that's because I moved into a random starting level without knowing what I was doing. Maybe put the player straight into the intro levels in a linear order, then open up to world exploration.

Also, the text is pretty tough to read at times. The flourished script is perfect for headers, but not so much for the UI and instructions.

It's still very clever puzzle game with a unique mechanic and I really enjoyed playing it. Great work!

You're so close to the end! There's only 11 levels (currently). However, the last couple are kind of... ridiculous.  I don't blame you for not finishing. XD I struggled beating it myself. Still needs a ton of work, but I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for playing and giving feedback!

Thank you! That's very kind of you. It still needs a ton of work, but I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing and taking the time to provide feedback. Much appreciated!

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for playing!

Hahaha... It totally is! Thanks so much for letting me torture you!
