Thank you for your feedback! I agree it would be nice to have a better UI. I had to sacrifice some scope here and use the default Godot UI panels.

Thanks! I realize now that I should have added more instructions / explanation on how the corruption mechanic works. I was torn between the mystery of figuring it out vs giving away too much.

Thank you!

I think I narrowed this down to an issue with my mouse in-browser. It's not happening when I press "ESC", which un-captures my mouse. -p but that leads to other problems. Not sure. Seems like it's not an issue with your game though.

Thank you, that's very kind of you. I like your suggestion of fleshing out the ending more with some narrative. I got a little exhausted towards the end of the project and so decided on the quick "consumed" and "escaped" end-game cards just so I could be done. Thank you for your feedback!

I like what you accomplished here. Nice small game -- it fits the parasitism theme very well, especially the "kindness corrupts" diversifier. However, like other commenters, I agree that the game would benefit from some guidance to the player. Also, I think a small mini-map or compass pointing back towards the well would be useful. I got lost pretty quickly after zig-zagging around trying to collect leeches.

Nicely done! Good atmosphere, good horror element -- the lighting (or lack thereof) definitely helps here. Pacing is good, and the jump scares aren't too bad.

Really well executed. Particularly like the music. Agree with other comments that having the weapon be auto would be nice. I tried to save all my companions, but all but one died. I didn't seem to run into the scenario where attempting to save a companion resulted in them actually being infected and trying to get you. Maybe up the odds on that?

Still posting this as a memento of my flaws, and because I will hopefully revisit this one day, with more focus and a more concrete plan!

Aw, don't feel bad. The UI is very neat, and the concept you explain on the game site page is really interesting. It just seems like maybe the scope was a bit too large? I would love to see how this would turn out if you follow through on completing it!

The explanation that you only had 2 days to actually create something certainly shifts the perspective on the game. It definitely has potential, and I'd love to see where you ran with this if you had the time to bring it further along development. I'm not sure if it's the web build but for whatever reason the camera for me was slowly "rotating" down which was quite distracting.

Phew. I just submitted what I have, just to be safe, but this saved my bacon!
