I like what you accomplished here. Nice small game -- it fits the parasitism theme very well, especially the "kindness corrupts" diversifier. However, like other commenters, I agree that the game would benefit from some guidance to the player. Also, I think a small mini-map or compass pointing back towards the well would be useful. I got lost pretty quickly after zig-zagging around trying to collect leeches.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I actually thought about adding something to help the player not get lost, but it made the game feel too arcade-like, and I was afraid players would focus more on ābeatingā it than on understanding the message.
Thatās also why thereās no real ending — only the last line changes. I tried to guide the player a bit using the background paths on the map, but it didnāt turn out as well as I hoped haha.
