Hi, I'm Jane Duke, I'm a musician and I've been studying music for 21 years. I am looking for a dev team to work with. I've been composing music steadily since 3 years and I have around 2 years of experience in video game industry. I mostly compose classical inspired orchestral music, but I can also do other genres like electronic music and heavy metal. I'm willing to work on game jams and long term commercial projects as well. I create all of my music with Reaper and I have licenses for all the plugins I use. All of my music is produced legally! I can also do some sound design and a little bit of programming in C#, C++ and C. I can give a hand at sound design and programming, but my main focus is composing music, so if your team doesn't need music, don't bother contacting me. I use my YouTube Channel as my portfolio, but there are also examples of my work on my itch page.

Good news everyone! I just updated the page of my Pirate Game Soundtrack, and it is now available for free for any developer interested in having epic orchestral music for their game! Every developer may use these tracks as they are, or editing them a little bit before using them, like re-mastering, or adjusting the mixes to your liking, but no remake of the entire tracks please. Please use the original orchestration. Other than that, you can use these tracks as you wish in your game. For example, Dialogue Music doesn't mean you can only use this music for dialogues. Once downloaded, you can use any of those tracks, in any part of your game you think is convenient. Have a good listening, and just don't forget to credit me for the music!
Hi, I'm a music composer with 20 years of experience in music. I have been involved in a few game jams in the past year and a half. I make mostly orchestral music, but I can also make other genres. I can also make sound design and give an extra hand at coding. I am willing to work without getting paid immediately, but I would prefer to get paid as soon as possible. I am looking for a development team who needs good music. I am not willing to work for your team if I cannot make music. I like to do sound design and coding, but my profession is musician, so it is what I prefer to do and what I'm the best at.
I use my YouTube Channel as my music portfolio, here is the link : Jane Duke Music
Here is also one of my latest tracks to give you an idea of my work :
I just released a soundtrack for Pirate themed games! It is an orchestral soundtrack inspired by Pirates of Caribbeans and Dvorak's New World Symphony! It took me around 1 month to compose this soundtrack. I sell this soundtrack for 10 USD. You won't find a better soundtrack for that theme at that price point. This soundtrack is meant to be used as it is. This soundtrack is epic, and well composed. Credits are required for the music. You can listen to all of the tracks on this YouTube playlist! The soundtrack is around 9 minutes long.
Hi ella, we really can't pay anyone directly, even the actual team members are not paid for the moment. Both of us have experience in game jams and other projects and we never got paid yet, and we are not a studio yet. Sadly it is not possible for us to pay anyone directly for now. But if you are interested to work part time on a serious project, not paid for now, but if we publish on steam, yes you would get paid eventually. Please consider this is not a full time job. My team mate and I are currently working on this project seriously, but we are unemployed, and we will have to get part time jobs to earn our living, but we're still very motivated for this project. There is no game prototype yes, but we have restarted the whole project from the beginning because the first prototype was not good enough, but we keep assets that were made for the previous prototype, we already have a 9 minutes long orchestral soundtrack that I am composing and some 2D art my programmer friend made. My programmer friend is currently starting a game jam, so he won't be much available for this project for the next two weeks, but I will continue composing the soundtrack and making some SFX for it. This project is serious, but we can't pay anyone for now.
We are a team of two developers for now. One senior programmer, and me, main music composer and junior programmer. We are currently looking for an artist who can do both 2D and 3D. We could also be interested in recruiting one 2D artist and one 3D artist. But we need both, either it is one or two persons. Our game will be about the player controlling a ship going trough the seas and fighting against other ships. The overall theme is inspired by the golden age of Piratery, with inspirations from One Piece and Pirates of Caribbeans for the future story. For now, we are starting to make a prototype with just a combat system that would be similar to the game Faster Than Light. We can't offer to pay you directly for your work, but our project is to be a real game, that will be sold on Steam in the end. The plan is to make the game in around 6 months. If you're recruited in the team, you'll have an equal share of the revenue of the game as other team members and you'll have your word to say about the game development. We believe in democratic team work, and we want to make our game as good as possible. If you are interested, please send an email at janedukemusic@proton.me including a link to your portfolio. I'll try to answer you within a week, less if possible. We need to build this team fast, but we are willing to wait until we find a good artist that fits the style of our game.

Hi everyone, I am a composer and sound designer and I had a good Idea for a game. I want to form a team to make a rhythm based bullet hell. I want the game to have at least 3 levels, which will be based on a Soundtrack I will compose. The Idea is to make tracks that last a few minutes each and to make the bullets and enemies patterns will be synchronized with the music. The game would grow in difficulty as the music grows in speed and complexity. The first level would be very easy based on a slow and simple music, and for every level, the music would become faster and more complex. And the bullets and enemies patterns would become faster and complex as well. https://discord.gg/WN48TatfXf I am looking for at least two programmers and one graphics artist to make this game. The game would be in 2D, and we will choose the engine to make the game in within the team. This project is not paid, however if we make money with the game the revenues would be shared equally between every development team members. Thanks for reading!
Here is a free soundtrack I made for a game named Zuce
The music is a mix between classical music, electronic music and heavy metal influences.
This is a free soundtrack for game developers, you can use the tracks or edit them however you want to. Just don't resell them on your own. You can also use them for commercial use. Just credit me if you use them in your game.
This is mostly piano music with strings to add tension in some of the tracks. You'll love the Main Menu theme!
You can listen to the tracks here!
I claim no royalty on this music, I just want to be credited if someone uses it in their game. You can check in the metadata of the files, It was created with my personnal license of Reaper. Which I bought to my legal name. You won't find these tracks anywhere else on internet for now, I have composed them.
This asset bundle consists of three relaxing electronic music loops for cyberpunk themed games. It would be perfect for a visual novel! Free Relaxing Electronic Music For Your Game!
As described, my soundtrack is available as a free asset bundle! It took me one month to compose it and a lot of work, so please consider making a donation, it would be very appreciated. It is mostly Orchestral music, but there is also one more modern track, and one horror track
