Okay, so I will try to describe the crankiness, but it's kinda difficult as it is more of a feeling that pin-point things.
- When you select two similar card, you need to over __both__ of the card to stop the focus.
- The little "delay" there is to reveal two card, and not authorize an other reveal feels "strange" (Sorry, I don't have a better description to it)
- When you have a card that reveal one other card, it's strange that it does not hide itself until you clik on an other card, on the opposition of the fact that when revealing two cards, it will hide then directly (For example, after the use of a Desired Pick)

And there is a "feeling", where, it was not "smooth" enough to return the card. Difficult to describe it. (The problem may come from something entirely, but I cannot say for sure)

And waiting for the update then ;)

If you have time to, you can try mine :

It would really be nice if you could review my game, but don't overdo yourself !

You already have been a lot spam, so I don't know if you will have the time to, but I would love your opinion

Curious about what you have to say about mine : https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3849910

Not sure If I could watch the stream, timezone being kind of a bitch for this, but I will probably try.

It was a really fun game, with a nice touch to it.

I loved how you need to take the decision, to go to this, or this island, even though I could not figure the Flame aura first, as I thought it was a penalty. I also could not full screen the game, so could not really use the glass as it best potential. But it was a really fun game, I enjoyed playing it.

Please, continue the good work !

This was a really cool game, the music made a lot to immerse myself into the story.

I loved the mechanic to craft the cookie to feed you, even though, maybe the hunger bar was going down too quickly for my taste. I also couldn't really find where to go, as there was food everywhere, but not a clear path.

Nonetheless, I really enjoyed playing it, the controls were smooth (If we forget about the camera twitch time to time), and it was kinda fun to explore the world.

Please, continue to makes game, keep the good work!

Really nice game, it was quite fun to play.

It was a little difficult to understand how to use the stair, but after some time, it become more easy.

However, as you advance on the level, as the resources are scarce, it become really difficult and fastidious to restart the level each time you made a small mistake (Missing a bullet, or destroying a block, just a little too much to the left, for example)

The game was really nice though, so keep the good work !

And by curiosity, I see that it is a Unity Game, how did you to make the game having a "save state" ? I really don't know how you made the game remember I have x Cookie, and y mega-cookie, even after refreshing the page.

I love the idea, it was a really nice way to adjust to the theme.

Unfortunately, I think the difficulty of the game would have needed some adjustment, as the controls of the car were quite difficult to use, the number of Zombie, and the scarcity of the fuel, made it quite difficult to go pass the 10th or so zombie.

It was really fun nonetheless, I enjoyed it a lot. Keep the good work !

A really cool game inspired by BlackJack if I'm not wrong.

It was fun to try to play, and chose the best course of action. However, I think the fact that you cannot choose to "stand", when you know you cannot go higher was the things that I enjoyed  the least. I understand that, as we see the card this will give us an unfair advantage, but there was numerous times where just after drawing, I knew I was going to lose, just waiting for the round to end.

Furthermore, there was some problem (Maybe it's the order I click, or the fact I try to wager all of my cookie), but the games decided to GameOver me, and not allow me to retry the game. (Debug Consol showed up)

Nonetheless, the game was fun, good work ! Keep it up !

Really nice game, it was like a variation of yahtzee.

Was fun to play it, with the incrementing counter, love the graphics too.

It would have probably need a little more time to adjust the parameter, like the cooldown, and so on, but it was fun nonetheless !

Keep the good work !

A really nice concept, loved the endless possibility, and the idea to merge a deck builder with a memory game.
The game need however, probably some balancing, as it seems a lot unfair especially with the first levels where the boss have too much cards.

The system to turn the card, and activate them, or not, seems a little cranky times to time (Card not out of focus, or, not clear with the effect), but it was a really nice game

I really liked playing it, the crankiness of the controls beeing the only things that kept me from playing it for hours.

Keep the good work, if you finish the polish of this game, be free to @ me I would love to play a complete version.

Really nice game, and quite funny

The controls between the creaky planks are quite hard some times, and difficult to see. (Which means that I almost all the time had to memorize where they were), but I can see it as intentional.

The visual were quite uneven, I loved the racoon, or the floor, but the furniture, or the cookie seems a little rush.

Was a really fun game though, loved it. Keep the good work !

The Jam version is indeed unfortunately not working.

For the After Jam version, it seems that the game was kinda buggy, I could not create any potion. The idead was good though, and I would have loved to play it. I also loved the art.

Keep the good work, and be sure to submit a working version early on for the next jam.

The voice acting was really, really funny. I also loved your take on the dialog were really... interesting.

The player continue to walk when speaking to someone (Probably, because I press E before releasing the key to move), which is a little weird, but that juste a bug of some sort.

Really nice game either way, keep the good work !

Really fun game, and, with your appartement without wifi, it feels like a lot of the inspiration is from the Dino Game of Google Chrome :3

The idea to enlarge the player when eating the biscuit is really nice, and it was really fun to do so, I loved playing this game.

I stopped after getting a score of 420, it was enough for me ! Keep the good work !

It feels a lot like Buckshot Roulette, but a Canine version.

The idea was really good, even though the mechanics where a little cranky, as well as the UI.

It was a really nice try nonetheless, keep the good work !

I love the idea and the game was really fun to play.

I would have love to have more level, as the visual, and the art was really enjoyable.

You were also able to easily captured the idea that you need to make the games interesting.

On a side note, the door on the last level seems to be "optional" as you don't need the key to pass it.

Really good game nonetheless ! Keep the good work

Really nice game, I could see it becoming the next Hollow Knight.

It could be improved, by adding some drawback to take the cookie too early, like, the more you wait, the more you have point, but nonetheless, the game was really fun. I loved the art style.

Well played, continue the good work ! An please, continue to make games !

Really, really nice game, it was fun to play it, and I loved trying to catch the cookies.

Got only to 72 cookies, but I loved the mechanics of the game.

The upgrade menu was a little plain, but that's all I can think about if I want to give constructive remarks.

Well played ! Keep the good works !

Loved the purr from the cat, and the visual where really good.
I think the AI of the character that should stop you from destroying the furniture is broken, but the concept was really nice.

Loved the idea, even though you probably didn't have enough time to finish it completely, keep the good work !

Nice little game, it was quite nice to be able to play. The invisible trap make me think about this Mario game, way back in early 2010, where the game was trying to kill you constently.
I think the controls add some jankyness when playing on the keyboard, and it would probably have been better with a gamepad.
I also had some problems to enter the door to go through each level, didn't quite catch that.

Either way, really nice and funny game, keep the good work !

Nice little game !
Made me think about flappy bird. A little unfair as sometime, you cannot take back your "respiration" after a jump, as there are some rock on the upper side. However, it was really fun.
I don't understand how everyone can do score above billions, are more like, even 36! is an insane number, but it was fun nonetheless.
My personal best was 42, keep the good work ! Continue to make games !

The game was interesting, as it seems to take an alternative path from the usual game cards.

However, as it is very luck based, without anything that makes you feels that you are in controls, it didn't quite make me want to "gamble" more. Maybe more cards to protect yourself ? Or everyone take a card before playing it, to make the "action" at the same time ? Because, a lot of time, I got the card "Steal a card" turn 1, unusuable at the time, but could not use it turn 2, as it was either stolen by someone else, or destroy.

Good game though, I think it could become something really enjoyable ! Continue the good work !

Really nice work ! You all did amazing.
I really liked the vibe from the music and the arts, and it was really smooth to play.

A little disappointed for the AI of the mobs, as it seems they only switch between differents states (Rock -> Paper -> Scissor), and does not take advantage of their perpetual bonus, or the effect they could chose. But I totally understand the difficulty, and the time that would require to implements more complexe behaviour.

Anyway, It was really, really fun to play it, so please, continue to makes games !

Wow, I love the 2D art you made for this game ! It's a shame however that the world isn't in 2d too, it would add so much to the atmosphere.

The game itself is quite interesting, even though, it seems that you can take biscuit from really far away, which remove the difficulty to move the bag.

I could not find the path you need to take to go further in the game, and I had the impression to be stuck on the first level, even though I rack almost 25 biscuit in the bag.

Good little game though, it was nice to see how you approach the theme, and it was a really cool idea. Continue the good work !

Really nice little game, give of the vibe of a "Pacman with physics"
Having more robots dogs with differents AI would have give a lot to the game, like in the original Pacman, Blinky actively chase the player wherever he is on the map, or Pinky and Inky, try to place themself in front of the player.
I also probably don't understand correctly what's the point of returning to your home to increase the multiplier ? As it does not scale with the biscuit you bring back, and when you finish a level, it does not increase it ?
Anyways, really nice game, it was fun to play it ! Continue to creates game like this one ;)

(1 edit)

Nice little game ! It feels like it could have a little bit more mechanic, like for example, forcing the player to press the spacebar when turning, if you don't want to kerb ride (Which could make you lose time ?
Nonetheless, really cool game, keep up the good work !
(7857.1 for me)

Really nice game, I loved playing it. Maybe just a tad difficult to understand which one I'm currently playing, but it was really fun nonetheless. Puzzle were really nicely design, and the mecanic is quite fun

Continue to create game !

This was a really nice little game. I didn't quite catch how to win the game as even though I always thought I was wining. Is there a round limit ?

The art style was really pretty thought, I was quite immerse in it.

Either way, it was fun to play, so please, continue to make game !

Was a really nice little game, was hoping for more puzzle, but I know how much the Level Design must have been really though !

Great job nonetheless, continue the great work !

Just incredible, it was really nice to play, and I loved discovering the differents pattern you incorporate.

It is really incredible to be able to create a rhythms game like this one in such a short notice.

The only things I see you could improve, was the fact that the cars did not have any sound, and beats to it (And I didn't really understand what was the manholes)

But keep the good work, I'm sure you could wrap it into a nice little game, that would have the same feels as Rhythm Doctor ! Looking forward to it !

That was a nice game, with maybe a little too crancky controls.

However it was really nice to play, and I loved how you interpretated the theme. Congrats !

This was an amazing game, it was really fun to try it out, and I must confess, I probably played it for way too long. Only thing I have to point out, was the fact that the clock doesn't reset when restarting, which lead to some run being impossible (I had to reload the page, because there was no more I on my clock, which led me to lose on the first round)

But it was a really fun game nonetheless, please continue to make games !

This is absolutely fantastic

Hey ! Thank for your feedback !
In case you have a Xbox controller, the game can listen to those input :

  • Left stick to move
  • Right stick to face direction
  • [Y] to interact
  • [X] to use the weapon

(I know this isn't the best buttons to press if you have a disability, but knowing this, you can reassign the touch, if I'm not wrong)

I should have offer the possibility to change the binding In Game, I'm wrong on this one.

The game was nice, and catchy.  I fucking love the physics of the character, and the little animation.

However, I did soft-lock myself (I think ?) in the 3rd or 4th level (The one were the jumper appear), cause I killed all the enemy I should have used to jump over a gap .

Was fun nonetheless, please keep the good work

This was a nice game, had fun playing it.

Did have a little difficulty to understand the Left and Right Turn, but when overcome, the puzzle part was really nice.

You could probably have improve the "tutorial", by implementing the different one by one over the courses of multiple level instead of giving a solution, but that was a nice way to put it.

Continue this way ! Love it !

The idea of the game was really nice, gave me a vibe of those hardcore game you can find on the web.

Couldn't find a way to get the blue/purple dot in the second level though, as my cube was bouncing of the wall.

Loved it anyway, continue to create !
