Yeah, i just uploaded a browser version of this game, so you don't need to download it anymore, you can try with this version instead (it can be played with AWSD too).

It can't be a tile issue because you would be able to turn.

It can't be an auto run event issue because you wouldn't be able to open/close menu.

I honestly have no idea 😅, I tried testing the game in another device to see if it only worked on my PC, and I didn't have any issues either.

Screenshot from my phone, I installed easyRPG player from the playstore and it ran perfectly.

Okay, i changed the cutscene to run in the word map (previously it was in an empty void, this didn't cause any problem for me though), i hope this fixes the issue for you, if it doesn't, you can try playing with a joystick, also you said you can't move but does the main character at least turn to see were you want to move? If it doesn't it may be an input issue.
Let me know if this fixes it for you.

Pretty good game for mobile. i did 3 stars for all levels, maybe add an obstacle like a cat? It's good enough as it is anyway, a relaxing game.

Nice game, you can explore the map freely so that's pretty fun.

It was a little hard for me to understand what i had to do, collision for a lot of building is off so you can get out of bounds pretty easily, some sound effects are a little scary and i don't get the point of the timer, it never runs out and plays an annoying sound.

The concept is good but it needs a little more work, i still don't understand what is the point of feeding the little rats and i don't know if they can die.

Cute game. the how to play image is a black square that stays in place even if you move and only goes out by time, maybe make it so it dissapears after the player accepts that they read it.

I collect cheese but it doesn't seem to change the cheese collected score, you can't recharge your weapon so i don't think there should be a limit to the ammo, also you could add coyote time to the jumps.

Good job on your first game, i wish you luck on your game dev journey.

Pretty good game, very polished, you can fall off the map forever, aside from that i think it's pretty perfect, i don't know if you can interact with granny but maybe add a text box from her.

Unironically a great game, this game is like vampire survivor, you defeat enemies and become stronger by eating cheese, i experienced lag after falling off the map i think, maybe add some ui elements for the level of the rat and how many cheese to eat to level up, and also some work on the map itself would be great, and some obstacles i guess. Very fun, good job.

Fun game, maybe a scoring system would be nice.

You can fall out of bounds pretty easily. In the main menu, "start" and "X" do the same thing. There are some collisions bugs, i got stuck on a oven.

I collected 5 cheese and won, the quit option of the wall didn't do anything, and when you approach the computer it says press enter but it doesn't do anything. 

Good job on the game, pretty chill.

Make the cat chase you so it presses the cat button.

I won by ignoring everyone and running directly to the boss.
The game needs a quit option, the only way to close the game is by alt + f4 i think.
The combat idea of hitting enemies to do a special attack is good but that skill is pretty weak, also you don't have any visual feedback of when that skill can be use, also you can't seem to be able to dodge attacks, the sprites of the enemies don't flip when facing the other direction.

Fun game.

Pretty good game, very creative, you win by drowning your opponent.

The game should have a pause menu, also some options to change graphics.

Write how to play, i tried interacting with the E key since that's the standard but an inexperienced player may miss that.

The game lacks music and more sounds.

The game is a platformer about collecting scrubs, the ending was unexpected, the game looks pretty, good job.

There are some grammar mistakes that should be fixed.

When you click the background at the main menu the mouse is hidden.

The settings menu is a little confusing, the options seem clickable but they also have sliders, i don't know if i should click the buttons since they light up when hovering at them.

The game lacks music and you can kind of see outside of the bounds of the room, collisions should be improved. The plates on the floor seem to change your direction for some reason.

The game doesn't tell you what you have to do or how to play, since there's not a clear objective the player will feel discouraged to keep playing.

My record is 2518, it's a simple game, the longer you hold space the higher you jump, you can also charge the jump while mid air.

Sure, I'll add that option after the game jam voting ends.

Just touch a fish, then carry them into the box, you can jump infinitely underwater, evade the big gray fish while catching the small ones.

Thank you for playing, yeah it definitely needs a little more explanation for some things, mental darkness only affects the endings (if it's high you get a bad ending even if the park is clean), it's like stress, the flower that drops that icon reduces the mental darkness so it doesn't get high.

The bench drains all your energy so probably you didn't have enough energy to clean the trash. Yeah, I didn't have time to add random events to make it less repetitive.

Cute game.

The flying saucer breaks the game, and I don't see much point in using it, especially for the main game, since you only need the socks to win. The map size is too small for flying to be necessary. You can also clip objects out of the fence quite easily or get out of the map by colliding with big objects like the lock and launching out of the yard. It would be better to have the ability to pause with a key on the keyboard instead of having to click a button on the screen.

The explore mode is fun for a couple of minutes, but there isn't much to do there; it's an empty open zone. Without discovery, exploration loses its purpose and becomes an aimless endeavor.

Unlockable content is nice, but it should not overshadow the main content. Being ambitious is good, but currently, the game lacks focus and doesn't know exactly what it wants to be. Does it want to be a Sandbox with secrets or a Puzzle Adventure?

Edit: It's probably not a good idea for the player to start under a timer. If they don't know how to play, they will feel pressured to learn fast to avoid losing. A tutorial level might fix this.

There wasn't any disclaimer about the state of the game, so I only had the description to know what to expect, and I did feel a little bit tricked. If I was too harsh, I'm sorry. I'm sure you guys put a lot of effort into this game. It does happen often to not upload the correct files. I hope everyone doesn't feel discouraged by my words, and I'm excited to see the post-jam version.

it may sound harsh but it's the hard cold truth.

Nice job with the art and animation, i can see the comics look inspiration, i liked the intro.

You should tell the player how to control the character, also make it so you can move with the awsd keys too.

When you destroy an enemy, you should add particles to see them explode, and a visual effect for when the player is hit, like the sprite flashing red and a sound effect.

The player attack should have a cooldown so you can't spam it (the boss was destroyed pretty fast with this). I played with both characters and their gameplay was the same, maybe add some cool ability unique to each character?

Anyway, good job with the game!

I think the transitions are a little off, the player sprite is a little boring, maybe desing a fun character instead of a yellow ! triangle. Good job on the tutorial, it does have some bug tho but it works, i don't know if you lose your weapons after pick another but you shouldn't lose them forever, maybe they should drop on floor when switching with another, the shooting mechanic is fun, the enemies and boss are easy.

Okay, i gave the game a second chance and this is what i got:

I didn't know you could zoom in/out with the scroll wheel (also reset the position pressing the mouse wheel) you should probably add a limit to zooming out. You really need to make a tutorial or write the controls somewhere. And explain what each thing is and what they do and what you have to press them to make them do anything. I still have no idea what the M block and the teardrop looking thing does.

I realised that i actually had to build something to be able to play, so when the block was flying alone nothing happened because i didn't build anything and i couldn't go back so i had to alt+f4 the games several times (this game really need a reset button), i also didn't know that i could erase the objects with the right mouse button or rotate them pressing the mouse wheel, but now i know.

With all the knowledge i got from trial and error, i completed the first level with all the stars, i just build a block with a shooting thing and it was really easy.


You should probably add a limit to how many objects you can place i think.

Overall, this game has a lot of potential, i can see you poured a lot of work on this game, but you should also focus more on the player experience.

I scored 1250, good job.

My highscore is 6900.

The player is too slow, the bullets barely do any damage (i had to spam left and right click to be able to kill something), the bullets despawn too early, the player can't die, the enemies sprite should flip when going right, you should add a walking animation, the gun holding animation is really good, i can see the outside purple part of the map, the pick ups doesn't seem to do anything. The art was pretty nice.

The O2 bottles barely do anything, i guess it was fun jumping around as the impostor, maybe add a score system for how long you can survive.

When you extract the game, the files scatter everywhere, it would be better for the files to be inside of a folder.

The game has an awesome intro animation. The fullscreen button is weird. There should be some indication that you talk with the e button, i pressed the left click and wasted ammon (also talking is bugged, sometimes i can talk even if i go far away from the npc). There's a lot of artstyle inconsistency that make the game hard to look at.

I didn't understand the fox boss at all, also enemies should have a visual/sound feedback from when you shoot and kill them.

Better call saul am i right? (I can't forgive you for stealing Laura Shigihara's song from pvz)

I think the objects should be dragged instead of just spawn in the exact same place, also a trash bin to delete them. I don't know the purpouse of the inspect button, why can't i just move around the level while placing objects? I could also move the place of that square thing while inspecting.

When i press the play button nothing happens, the game is unplayable.

The game has highscores, but doesn't have a score system (funny), when you kill the monster there should be more visual effects like them exploding or something, the retro theme was nailed perfectly, there should be a quit button somewhere, overall, the dude did time travel all over them.

If you go back to previous checkpoints they will swap with the latest one.

I'm a huge fan of the movement system and i don't think it's a miss at all.

It's a little hard to see the ball underwater when it's still on the floor, also if i dash spam to the floor underwater i can do an explosion spam effect. 

I don't fully understand how the double jump works, but i still managed to win the game.

I found a bug where i get stuck on a platform, when i reached the thunder, i placed myself on the right, where the platform dissapears, so when it dissapeared i pressed left and when i reached safety i bugged. If you are fast enough you can still jump from hidden platforms.
