I absolutely agree that this game brought me back to flash games. I had a lot of fun with it, and the additions of evil to take down all the veedles was very fun. Amazing work!
Pretty cool game so far. I like all the variety of Vedals
Went full strength and obliterated Veetle, 10/10
Charming game reminiscent of the flash game era!
This feels pretty different from most of the other games. The gameplay is pretty simple, but it was very funny to see the different Vedals in Vedaltopia.
Sadly the game turns to black during combat. The concept of the game is interesting and seems pretty fun and after fixing this bug and maybe improving this game, it will really shine. Good job!
In the description they said that only the basic attack works on the web version. the downloadable version still works with the other attacks
This was fun! As others have mentioned, selecting anything else than Basic during fights causes a black screen, at least in the web version. The INT route worked fine however. Bonus points for the Camila mechanics!
I got reckt by veetle 10 seconds in the game OMEGALUL
I really like the concept of the game and its pretty charming. Very good job!
Unfortunately couldn't beat it despite multiple attempts, since none of the options against Veetle (I think that's the bridge guard's name) worked except fight, and I kept low rolling and dying even with 20 strength. The higher-lower buttons caused the screen to black out. Looked very neat though, and I'm sure some bug fixes after the jam would make it quite fun!
Yeah, the other options use charisma and intelligence stats, you would need like 6 to have success and 10 to win the game.
I tried having higher charisma and intelligence, but clicking the other options just made them say "Bring it on!" and enter a fight anyway
Oh, that's weird, did you try using the mouse wheel to scroll and select different options? If you try to click the options directly it will select the first one (yeah, bad design that i tried to explain at the beggining, i'll have to change this too).
Ah I didn't, that would be it
Please make a full game! This art needs its justice!
Fun and unique fight mechanic. Tutel variant of Vedaltopia is funny too.
and alt. route are unexpected and fun!!
I was stuck for a while because I didn't understant what was causing these black sceens. But the music and visuals are pretty good.
I was very intrigued with the premise and screenshots but I keep ending up with a black screen. After multiple attempts I could not get pas the first fight. I do really like the battle music and the visuals though the multiple vedal designs are cool
Thank you! You can win the game without fighting if you want with 10 charisma or 10 intelligence, sadly you wouldn't be able to get the evil ending without fights but i will fix this issue after the jam!
The Fight music goes SO hard, fun art too! I wish it didn't black screen every time I won a dice roll :(
Yeah, that's really frustrating, i'll fix that for a post jam version!
My screen goes black every time I click higher or lower instead of basic
Oh that's unfortunate, was that the browser version? I didn't have time to test a lot of things there, maybe the downloadable version doesn't have that issue. Sorry and thanks for telling me!
The game breaks a lot but this style of game is incredible nostalgia trip to VNs on newgrounds
That's what a lack of playtesting does to a project x.x. I love those kind of games thanks!
Yep, this type of game was exactly was what I was looking for when I combined the "Anime" and "Point-and-Click" tags
It breaks a bit whenever you lose a battle to a Vedal but I really enjoyed the NPCs
Yeah, I noticed that but I didn't know what caused that, I'm glad you had fun with the NPCs!
