maybe a ESL debuff but I can't process that nearly fast enough
I can assure you it isn't, I have pretty good reaction time due to playing rhythm. Depending on rng the tons of filtered messages also exist.
I think currently it is 6 - 1 that agree with you.
Art and mechanic are pretty interesting, good job!
Thank you for playing!
Interesting mechanic. Although you could skip the selecting chatter and instead focusing on either pressing green or red buttons.
Filtered/10
I see this as a valid way to play, if you were focused on top then you'd risk the thing being filtered after you placed it there.
I mean, you could start at bottom
The ASCII art was very unique, and the idea was interesting, but plain random chance made it a very dull experience for me. I played for five minutes and only a single message needed to be censored the entire time, since Evil always changed her mind about censorship before any messages of that type appeared. The game would probably work better if it only re-allowed messages if there was at least two un-allowed message types, so there's always something for the player to look out for. Speeding up the time between Evil's sentence changes would probably also make the game more engaging
The classic insta uncensor, yeah that does exist unfortantly. Also the rare other side of the diffulity curve, I actually had double drops during alpha but nerfed it because not even I could hold back the swarm. The next update should be interesting with all of this.
Pretty neat game with ASCII code. It's just way too fast to even process the messages and play
It is pretty fast huh? I'll probably be working on a curve to slowly increase the speed.
Really interesting to see game made using ASCII. It's also quite entertaining. Shouldn't color for hair and skin be swapped though? idk. Good job!
I can see that working, I think I might be able to do one better as well. You shall see...
Loved how it is all ASCII. It is too difficult for me, but I can see it is a well done game.
Thanks for the comment. I plan on dealing with the difficulty curve soon, it seems to be a very important issue.
The ASCII Art is quite impressive
Thanks so much! I took way too long on it.
Interesting game, not sure how this fits in the "Lost and Found" theme, the messages were too fast for me, i lost a lot so i had to give my ip to evil, good times!.
Your sacrifice will be remebered, but for real thanks for playing. Thanks for more graphical bugs I have to fix.
Game is defently too fast at the begining so either way thanks for taking the plunge.
The concept is very interesting but it's hard to understand what to do. The game starts so fast I don't really have time to react and since it kicks me out each time I lose, it hard to learn from my mistakes and what's good or bad.
I admit this one is an issue on my part. I was planning on having the speed change over time but couldn't figure out a reason to. The fullscreen bug just doubles it with the reaction time, because with the fixed build I have double the time. Thanks for the review and thank you playing.
very cool, since you made the game engine yourself you could probably port this to anything.
It would a pain for sure, but it could happen. I'd of course fix it up first.
im expecting a version for samsung smart fridge in 3 months/j
(are smart fridge jokes still relevamt? i dont think so)
I don't care if it is still relevant, I still laughed hard at it.
Once you understand how it works it's a fun minigame! A couple tips would be if you want to play it: ignore the up and down buttons to begin with, just focus on accepting or denying the next incoming chat message. You only need to deny the chat messages that evil tells you to deny. Also don't hesitate since getting it wrong only takes away one life from 20, meanwhile not accepting or denying it makes you lose instantly.
Overall it's a good submission, very big bonus points for making everything yourself and huge respect for not using a game engine lmao
I'd call this the official guide for the game.
