Loved what you did there, really fun and original concept of gameplay! Also wholesome ending as well <3

Nice game! Didn't see any options to download it besides in itch's app (which also gave an stutter in audio, so I had to mute the music). The character design was pretty original and I love swiping games, as Doot stated below, I also wished that the game hadn't same encounters, but hey, for a 48hrs game jam, amazing result, cgrats for the team!

Loved all the aspects of the game! Just wish it could go fullscreen, great work team!

Just had the opportunity to play it on stream! Loved the art, the mechanic was a fun one, the music and SFX were AWESOME, I need to say I didn't understood much of the history, but it was a nice and wholesome experience! <3

(1 edit)

I felt like playing a Final Fantasy game from PS1 world map with fishing! Some things to adress:

  • About the sinalization for the ocean, it could be clearer where you should go
  • It has a bug on the beginning if you are pressing the down button on the start of the game or coming back of some area, the player can fall into infinity, so an invisible wall would be nice
  • About "combat" system, it would be more exciting if the fish movements were random, cus after you memorize it, it becomes predictable and because of that, can be a lil boring
  • About the rarer fish, I think you used an percentage way to check of what fish you bait, it would be nice if that percentage goes up after everytime you bait on the same way, so we can see another species. (I've released about 10 fish on the first area, and couldn't see what the third one was)

That said, I really liked the game, one of my favs of the jam gameplay wise, but also I need to adress that I don't see how the "community" theme is applicable here, but great work overall!

I was so glad I could experience this game! It really felt like a GameJam experience, little, beaultiful, loved the choice of assets and the character design was cute, also loved the shader (or filter idk how it's called), that gave the game a vintage charm. One thing to point was the SFX for grabbing ingredients, the volume was very low, so at times I didn't knew if I got the ingredient or not! Hoping to see more of you guys in the future!

Pretty cool mechanic! Loved that the game was made in Godot, The music was on point for a puzzle, and the hints were written well! The character design I also liked (as the art choice). One of my fav's from the jam, just too dumb so I couldn't complete properly 😅

Sadly I couldn't beat the game, did 3 solutions that worked for the layout but I failed anyway, art looks cute, the voice acting was really fun and the music / SFX worked nice as well!

No game sadly

The dialogues were cute! And I really liked the character animation, looked like something from point and click games, pretty detailed! After picking up the apple I didn't knew where to go, game design wise, it would be clever to some a sign or something like that, because it was too many pathways, hope to see more from you on the future!

Man the last level was brutal hahahah, I loved the concept of the gameplay, also because I'm a Trine fan, the music and SFX also fits very well with the art, and the character design was nice (my fav is the red one being picked blacky, gave me laughs on stream!)

Don't know how to draw, but nice mechanic indeed indeed! The músic and SFX was also nice and the gameplay was smooth!

Love this kind of pixel art style, and radio was a really original idea for community, sadly on the game jam submission the music didn't played it (at least on itch's app), and on browser version the game doesn't want to let me walk after some time, but it was nice to play, cgrats!

First of all, pretty great design and characters, I liked the 2D/3D choice, felt playing Paper Mario a lil bit! The dialogues were also cool, and the SFX on the door was pretty satisfying to hear! Hope to see more of you on the future!

Pretty emotional, and great game feel, liked the minigame and in the boss player could have an life meter or something like that, cgrats on the game!

I liked the art and music, and the gibberish sound effects was amazing! The only downside for me was the hitbox of stuff, it was pretty difficult to get the veggetables sometimes, willling to see more of you guys on the future!

Really nice art and I like the mail mechanic, I think it was pretty original! But my favorite part was the voice acting, as a music producer I must say, they were VERY professional on passing the feelings and I really loved that, cgrats on the game!

I let everyone in. 10/10

Pretty chill experience, loved the plant designs, the gameplay was smooth and nice! The soundtrack was a little quiet compared to the SFX, but I liked all of your art choices, keep the games coming <3

I was dummie and got me real long to figure I needed more houses to more people to appear lol! But it was a pretty sweet experience! Loved the artstyle and the general feel of the game! Hope to see more of you in the future <3

Nice mechanic, it has potential, but one bad thing is that it doesn't have a restart button, so I had to quit and play 2 times to get to the third and probably the last stage! Hope to see more of you in the future :)

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it, thanks for the feedback <3 I'll keep the advice for any future games that could use a to-do feature

I'm a composer and sound designer

Hello Akien! Thank you so much for your feedback, we will take this onto consideration when making the level design of upcoming games!

About the soundtrack, I really didn't had the time I needed to make something more "enjoyable" because this was my first time programming in Godot, and also I did the soundtrack of other game called "MunchIt", but anyway, in another jam, I will for sure take more time to make the soundtrack better!!!

Thank you for your feedback John! It was my first game on godot, so I had pretty little time to make the song themes, but I will for sure take this into consideration to my next game and make a more decent soundtrack! About the level design we are learrning through the process as well, and I hope the next game you'll play from us, will be better on those aspects!

lol

Well, it is indeed very difficult, for the next platformer I will make, I'll spend more time on movements code, so even that it's difficult, at least, the player will be more in control

So, I downloaded it directly from itch app, so I got a look right now, and it is the win64 version!

So, it was me and my gf, I made the code and music, and she made the level design and art, we used construct 2 for the two games we made together, and now we got into Godot 3 to learn and make more "professional" games.

Very good first project :D maybe put the player a little more higher, in the middle of screen it doesn't seen good at certain times, cus you don't know what is coming and may get hit in a dead end!

Thank you so much for your feedback! We learned a lot from making this game and it was a challenge for us using a new engine, but the community is great and many people helped us!

I don't know if we're gonna make changes to this game, but we're gonna take all the feedback into account to make a better game next time :D

Don't know if there is any sound on the game, but I couldn't hear any, this is the game I played the most from the jam until now, it gets a little bit repetitive after a time, but it's fun, solid work!

Very original, maye you could consider putting a brake on the mecha to make it easier to move, but it was heckin cool, congratulations :)
