Great game! Especially since it only took you two days to make it. Its gorgeous visuals work great with the music and it fits the theme of the jam nicely.

In case you continue to work on it, here is a little bit of (hopefully) constructive criticism:

The strategy that worked best for me, was to stick to one side and just move in a straight line forward. It made going back extremly easy because i didn't need to remember my path. But it kinda ruined the point of the game and, after that, it was not that fun anymore. Maybe place some obstacles that don't move in the level so that the player has to walk more complex path.

The tutorial text at first made me think the game froze and it was a bit annoying that it showed up every time i respawned.

The controls on the turned passages are a bit confusing.

I hope i don't sound to harsh. But you said in an other comment that you appreciate criticism, that is a sign of true wisdom and i respect that.

Anyway,  i really enjoyed your game and i hope you continue to work on it :)

An interesting and clever little puzzle game with a gorgeous art style, well done sound design and an overall very polished feel to it. Definitely one of my favorite games of this jam so far and one that i will keep for a second playthrough.

My only issue with your game is that it quits with one press of Esc, without any warning, or beforehand information that that will happen. So, i lost some progress because of that, but it didn't stop me from starting new. A level selection menu, or just a simple "do you really want to quit and loose all your progress?" window would have been nice.

Anyway, i still loved your game and will rate it high. Good job :)

I really liked the atmosphere and setting of your game, there is something about desolate planets that always gets me. Switching between different eras of the planet through rewinding time, is an interesting mechanic and fits the theme well. I was a little bit annoyed that i got put back to the start whenever i turned back time to much. But i didn't let it stop me though, i found the clock and was happily surprised to find a little cutscene at the end

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

Yes, except for the audio. (sorry I don´t know how to edit it above)

This game is the first project of 3 friends trying to release a game on itch io. Gather a few friends and have some fun :)

We would appreciate any feedback, rating, or comment we can get to further improve this game and the games that follow.

DESCRIPTION

This game is all about dashing and bumping into things, while trying not to get bumped yourself.

There are two types of objects: Blobs and Players.

Dash and bump into Blobs to dye them in your color and claim them for yourself. When the round is over, the Player with the most Blobs in his color wins.

If you dash and bump into other Players, you switch all your Blobs with theirs, possibly stealing their victory and ruining your friendship forever.
