Imperiālis Showcase Jam!

IMPERIĀLIS STUDIOS

==PRESENTS==

THE SHOWCASE JAM [I]

Welcome to the Showcase Jam. This jam is made for those small creators out there lacking traction. There's no competition, no requirements. I do not care if you submit games that were made beforehand or during this jam, no preference for engine [I advise Free Web Games, but you choose]. This jam will try it's best to lift games off the ground, Especially that the algorithm has cast away. I will hopefully run this jam monthly. The long voting session is to maximise exposure, and make sure everyone is seen. Please join the jam and share your projects. Thank you.

I'm sorry for the manual's lack of quality, but hopefully this will help you use the manual properly

For Corpus Legatus,

You select any unit (goldenrod border) (Tap on the Unit) (Tap on the button with the unit on to select)

Then you press one of the big buttons (explained on the manual)

And then the stuff described happens

Ty for clarifying.

Hope you enjoy the game!

Great

Welcome to the jam! Please, vote accordingly and enjoy the games. Devs, we don't care how old the game is, we only care about Concept & Presentation.

Masterpiece.

The fact it's chess is a little bit debatable, I do agree, but in the end it's turn based top down and things are mostly Deterministic. It's not necessarily made for the jam. The only thing that stands out against chess for me is the random ball movement, but chess already has been given random genres. Overall, I do agree that it's not necessarily chess-like, But I think it fits the jam. Thank you for raising the issue

(I follow)

Thank you for your inquiry, I think it resembles chess because the only random thing is the starting state of the board (already a genre of chess)

Everything is Deterministic, (Exactly like Chess)

There's Also Unit Stats (An Acceptable thing in chess)

I think the only non chess like thing is the economy, but the game isn't particularly made for this jam, it's just fits thr genre accidentally.

Thank you for your inquiry!

Tysm for the insight, It's really appreciated.

I'm only 13 and I'm testing the waters to see whether being a game dev is good enough

Thank you for leaving a great detailed comment. Please comment under the game.

Thank you very much for all who visited the game.

I apologise, here is a picture

Thank you very much for responding

It's even possible to play it with more than 2 people, just that there are 2 teams and to play it with more than 2 people means inter team coordination, leading to a better game.

And it's only 25kb

Here's the game:

Itch.io link

I'm worried about that aswell, because my game is grand strategy with money being a constraint. It's on a board and uses Unicode visuals, so here is the link, it does link back to my itch.io game. Please verify whether it's suitable.
