Beautiful art and great orchestra!

Your music will wow the audience right in a theatre story play, dynamically and classicalism in all sense.

I notice your story idea could complement & expanded from 12 Animal Zodiac, Journey To The West.

(long gives you question)

What is a work? A work of a person's thoughts, feelings, experiences, expressions but for what and who exactly?

Was it genuine?

Will it ever be inspired, helpful to others?

...

Thank you for listening & experience Self-Acceptance Full last year, my gratitude appreciation comes to your VANITAS entry as well.

I will always look forward to you and IndieKev entries, you guys breathe orchestral life into me (not much, just a little tiny bit of hope...)

good.

Jesus christ, ya done great on narrative storytelling and vibe

I'm not preparing myself for horror, this is bad for my health, oh god

Thanks, Jacob

birbs in their natural habitat :]

I notice your music for this entry is way more in line of progressive trance (calm relaxing vibe). It's really nice to hear the bird sfx (the bird has some quirks in their sound that's hard to define)

My favorite is In Flow, A Rainy Stroll

I like the ambiance, vibe, nasty bassline

My favorite are Remnants Of A World Prior, The Decayed, Radio Tower.

Suda51 and his love of moons :]

fellow vietnamese, oh no, anh em ta in this competition, anime movie :]

Thank you for enjoying the movie, it means a lot to a playful lupo.

the things we do for love (said a pink cartoon dog) :]

(DummyTexas) oh god, it's maniacally that i love it!

(DummyTexas) This is what happens when you release a monster mariachi band disaster in SimCity, ya maniac!

The orchestral drums, ambience is so good, the vibe sounds & feels like NY City, you did well!

My favorite is The Unsleeping City (playful & maniacally), Witching Hour (the tension, yes)

I'm not sure about Respite Of Souls, it's hard to describe at heart, it's unsettling and between crossroads.

I really enjoy it. The ambience and vibe suits so well.

My favorite is Character Encounter—Your advice is not for the present me, Winsome Gloaming.

I can see the potential for Synthwave Unquestionably Must Make Everyone Rollick, I imagined a section of very slow long crystalline pad, punchy 80s bitcrush snare & doggo synth sound (for the heck of it! :))

"Okay, Mr. Hotel Owner, do you see anyone from room 246?"

(Mr. Hotel Owner looks at you up and down, his pen moving before shows his notebook)

(It was you...)

...

(Melinda sighs to herself)

"I would be better hurry if I were you, Ms. Melinda. The cops will be here with their donuts soon."

"Jeez"

My favorite are 7PM : In The Lounge and 9PM : At Dusk

You know, when I see the illustrations, I immediately think about Room 215 DS game :) and holy moly :] yes

(Was it all a dream or never was to begin with?)

My favorite is Love Beyond Existence and In Pieces of Mind

Could you put whole novel in this submission description? It would a shame, the effort of writing words, yet people don't know and get to read. I currently have to read from project description.

That's okay, we understand.

Although we done this around 2 days, just something you can reference.

I found Cueva Cristal is quite unbalance due to metallic bell instrument, it is quite bright for headphone, I'd recommend control and tame the brightness.

I enjoy Endless Cavern, the pacing and how it all comes together in the end.

What do you define as ambient?

(If you based on your own taste, it won't work for everyone)

You claim:

No idea. No plan. No logic.

I respond:

Desire. Wanting. Longing.

&

Unreasonable.

Your ego keeps you alive this long, fox. It wants interesting things from you.

What scenery would you like to see and feel? For you and yourself?

Do for the record. Even if you alone will remember it for eternity.

Ideas come and go, but they will accumulate into a big boulder coming crashing into you hard.

When that happened, you better express them truly and properly!

PS. I learn some new words (from you) today, you're getting good at writing!

Woo! I really enjoy it :)

That didgeridoo bass & the visual really makes me in safari!

Beautifully crafted ambience!

Story of DragonDisc! Utopia Dark Virus (Weekly Note Composing Jam #27 Dark Forest):

In dark night of digital forest,
The dragon girl engulfs the virus with her vicious blue flame
She said to you like a predator who sees her prey
"So, you have a disc on your arm."
"Do you want to survive or not? Life Points and Money is what you need"
"Welcome to Utopia!"

Hello, it's great to see you have fun, hopefully you learn something from us.

We = hoanglongplanner & DummyTexas, we are a unit (ViolettaLappy VYL)

The context would be hard, because it expands on previous work: Self-Acceptance Full, the importance is the contrast between Hildegard & Brigidiseele in terms of character vibes & behaviors.

Self-Acceptance Full (Ost Composing Jam 7) by hoanglongplanner

For Brigidiseele Lovely Introduction, yep you right, the rhythm is done by hand, you could see my sanity is cracking somewhere, spamming one key with rhythm for 16 bar whole

They are all presets with little tweak, Harmor, Sytrus & Vital are main synths. WeatherM is the best on Harmor presets for atmospheric stuffs

https://youtu.be/Ew8N1aThaz4?si=vz33O06sP4IknFh7

We don't mind check out your game/tool sound design, we can give feedback. (We mainly do stuffs in DAW, not much very into recording)

Holy moly, what a set up with PS Vita with modular stuffs!

For the soundtrack, I greatly enjoyed the experience, my favorite are ESC ROOT, Calibration & Die Young

For Hell Hole, I'm find it hard to follow due to the arrangement structure, the energy flow

Quartal Harmony - all about quartal chords on guitar

We are not great in music theory, and we really want to understand Quartal Harmony

The tutorial so far:

What Are Crunchy Quartals?

If you have any resources on it, please share here!

Glad ya enjoyed it fox!

PS. Good morning to ya for tomorrow, hope ya done good productive work! (say hello to Texas for me!)

yo! (gonna enjoy ya music with popcorns 🍿)

Wonderful artwork by BBBrezel - https://www.youtube.com/@BBBrezel

I got sent here by Texas, passing on their review message to you

Lupo loves this soundtrack, with its engaging story behind it too

Our Garden (Main Theme) - Melodies are beautiful, with piano, flute, and violin strings tenderly attached yet pulling heartstrings, the brass pushing forward with such force of conviction. Sad yet beautiful.

  • Although feel off about the brass, when it was longer, it should fluctuate a bit, because normal brass players find it hard to constantly extend long note it (Air lungs are very limited).
  • Lupo would love a section of brass staccato with synth arp and metallic ambiance from 2:10, a final harshness remnant reminder from previous tension release before fading into the piano.

Concrete Sandcastles - Loves the guitar and its slide, I imagined the girl playing with sand, glancing at the window once and a while seeing the vast space from the spaceship (Kinda contradictory to how main story supposed to be, oops).

Storm Warning V1 - Nice, the ambiance gets lupo imaginative about exploring,

  • But weirdly, lupo imagined it as rainy not sandy (lupo was kinda surprised when read the track description).
  • The naming of the track causes confusion, "Sandstorm Warning V1" would set listeners to properly imagine the setting.
  • It would be lovely if you dabble more into ambient environment sound design, like having sandstorm sound effects and occasional hauntingly EAS (Emergency Alert System) or HEV suit system notification going haywire (Half-Life Sound Effect) in the intro and outro.
  • You can add an outro with a long hauntingly warning sound with distortion (Indicating that the player failed to return to the shelter, swallowed by sandstorm).

The vibe reminded me of some FTL, Modern Warfare 2 (2006), Spec Ops: The Line, and Hiroyuki Sawano.

PS. You know, each time after the soundtrack ends, SoundCloud just autoplay The Christmas Song Will Stetson, could you make a Christmas song in this apocalyptic sandstorm place (or Delphinium will throw a tantrum if you don't bring a present) :]

PS2. Kinda wishes more people would listen to this :(

Let me know something here !!

Hey fox, if you managed to read this

The small lupo ask me to stand by here for 1 hour deep in thoughts, goddammit Texas

Ya really make the lupo worry about ya so much, so really goddammit fox

...

Thank you for listening, I mean it

At this point, you should understand what is means about self-acceptance.

It's about time, you dumbass.

(The small lupo is around somewhere, i'm sure that one feels proud about ya)

Because you fulfilled a promise.

Before I forget, this is what the small lupo wrote

The small lupo make me like this submission, or it will bite me

I love it (both in fear, and such nice music)

PS - This is the 2nd time I got duped by SynthV (End of a World by BBBrezel)

Such a memorable and intriguing soundtrack for me, the music and description

At first, I didn’t understand much, not have much listening experience in genres (Acoustic Orchestra, Film Scoring, Ambient). On repeated listening, I found myself appreciating more, and noticing little details. It just grows on me to become my favorite :]

On the music,

Acoustic (in a way of Asian style), Minimal, and Ambient create colorful texture landscape.

In Between, Embark, Plain, Meander, Erupt and There Is Void are special and hard to describe, but they reinforce the theme unconsciously.

Sand Tower is memorable to me, I would find myself humming and hearing bumbumbumbahbumbumbum back of my mind, a push-pull effect, it is like I have to drag myself each step.

On the description,

It resonated as someone who has done creative work (both story writing and music), the frustration and struggle with oneself towards creative art creation. I would love to read a story written by you, that would tightly tie the soundtrack as its own identity.

PS - I would love to remix this, to explore some of the ideas in my free time.

PS2 - To get you started, what is the girl's name and her life? (keep it a secret from me, and continue writing :])

(1 edit)

Thank you for your mind-blown!!

Me and Texas could be described as music arranger hobbyist, who never went through music school (We would break every instrument we could find, force 3 drummers to play at the same time, and throw the piano out the window), like to listen and embrace different cultures (Classical, Acoustic, Electronic, Game Soundtrack, DJ Mix, Doujin Music Groups,...)

If you want to do this genre or lack thereof,

  • You have to be crazy, 1st and foremost.
  • Ambitious, imagination and the feelings that is actually true to your body and heart (not the mind). Work on something that you interested.
  • A profound understanding of when the vibe should happen, arrangement transitions, when to stop, and when it is just too repetitive and boring. Predictability and proper time allocation are necessary here.
  • Identify sound opportunities by instinct and explore them with many genres and personal styles.
  • Not recommended but, remix someone's music, and you will make new techniques that will engrave in your body as you work on them.
  • Finally, find your enjoyment, do your stuff, and expand your taste in music.

Understand the instructions so far? No, well broke the rules. (Don’t break Mono Mixing rule, or you have a bad day)

Good, now make music that wow me and Texas, and inspires someone to take music composition as their hobby

PS -

"A plushy that is not a fumo should be called a plumo"

I apologize on behalf of this lupo

PS2 - Kinda a long response. Oh, the pun.

Nah, ya cool, don't be too hard on yourself, please do be considerate for others (they may not share the same view unfortunately, just be careful :/)

Our taste (me and texas) is a combination of doujin music groups, game soundtracks, and other artists too

Doujin Music Groups:

  • Otographic Music
  • Compllege / Electro.muster / Alstroemeria Records / Shibayan Records
  • Diverse System

Games:

  • Touhou / Irisu Syndrome (join the culture, mwahaha)
  • 7th Dragon III Code VFD (the best one we enjoy)
  • Yugioh NDS and Tag Force PSP / 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
  • Trauma Center NDS / Trauma Team Wii
  • Final Fantasy 13 / Dissidia PSP
  • Dead Rising 2 / Persona 3 / Yakuza
  • COD Black Ops / Payday
  • DJ Hero

Artist:

  • BT
  • Linkin Park
  • Death Grips / Clown Core (We do like weird stuff)

Thank you for business transaction, we do hope you enjoy our weird tastes (and found some that inspire and encourage you to do music)

PS - We don't mind ya share this post to others :]

PS2 - Gotta check your heroes one day :]]

I appreciate your honesty :]

Your opinion is valid, we have our taste buds, we enjoy what we like, and we don't want people to shove their taste into ours. Let them explore and find what they like.

You don't understand this genre is also valid because I don't understand what I'm making :] If it sounds good and I like it, screw it.

On distortion stuff, I just want to protect your ears on certain tracks (Hildegard Vision, UM2S Diagnostic), this is one area that I have to be careful with (EQ out high frequency but still keep the original design intention, boomy but not constant ringing, importantly keep the vibe going)

Volume, ahhh hmm, well just listen to the level you comfortable, want to vibe with (Let the house boom if ya need to)

PS -

To quote from Texas "It's Celeste but more pixel who continue to contribute the community with unconditional love, me likey"

idk it's a positive or negative thing, but the small lupo insists on it

PS2 -

I am interested in your taste buds, could you introduce some of your favorites? (Me and Texas might love it, I would introduce ours too as a fair exchange) (Someone introduced us to ZEUHL rock genre, which is kinda of a surprise for us)

What a vibe, I really enjoyed it.

My favorite one is Help! My Song Is Stuck In A Tree

It reminded me a lot of playing Wonderland Adventures Game :]

PS - would ya interested in my new pyramid ? :]

(2 edits)

I love drums, and you can't deny me that :]

The melody is really a vibe check too (chiptune and piano)

Such a good production, I have a blast through it

I really like it, the way you used sound design and recording in such a masterful way that I could imagine the ecosystem happen inside computer

FloraAndFauna.zip, DreamTree.sys are the favorites !!

PS - Give you a zip bomb :]
