I was definitely worried when the devs stopped engaging. I think I got called out at the time too. I'm not holding much hope at this point.

Well it looks like this community has been abandoned by the game devs. Nothing from them in over 22 days. Disappointing that there appears to be no further response to the bugs and issues that we have all encountered in V1.0.1. It really feels like we started off well and had good feedback and now it has all dried up. Anyone else starting to feel abandoned?
So far the game feels like early alpha code (graphics / look and feel not withstanding) I love all the visuals, but the code behind appears to have lots of issues. I have read somewhere here its running on a much older (and probably buggy) version of unity (4.7.2) ? I am worried about the code quality if the bugs aren't being squashed very quickly, especially given that there is a framework involved, it should be easier to debug.

Ok. I just had another attempt at the rooter repair puzzle this morning. And no, I wasn't able to complete the repair before I ran out of memory and more interestingly disk IO, then game crashed. Screenshots attached. What I find most interesting is that the memory bug may actually be a symptom of high disk IO. There appears to be runaway disk IO activity that is causing the memory bug and exhaustion. Note that my disk IO is off the charts on a reasonably high end SSD. Which points at some possible issue in the image IO logic probably causing it to buffer in the images into memory in an out of control way exhausting memory by loading in the images into memory too many times until there is none left.

There's captions for Ace talking back. But i got no text dialog for his boss. I put headphones on and cranked the sound so I could hear and I realised there was supposed to be some dialog from the boss... even if it just was guttural sounds etc. Most captioned audio would put something like "(unintelligible response)" or something to indicate that the other side had said something. Otherwise what you get is awkward pauses between ace saying something.
I'm going to play through that segment again to see if it was just a once off bug.
Just did a replay of that section and I stand by my statement. You get text for Ace and only Ace. If you have audio off and are just playing with text. You basically have just long awkward segments between text dialog of Ace's responses.
Spaceventure Play-through (Space Station)
Spoilers ahead, if you don't want the game spoiled, do not read any further. Hold onto your fanny packs spaceventurers, you're in for a ride.
General Issues
----------------
- Object Selection Dialog - very buggy, sometimes I can't select objects, sometimes I can, its not always clear what can and can't interact as there is no feedback. I often found myself closing and reopening it to resolve some kind of selection bug
- Rooter Tool - There appears to be no way remove the bolt bit after it has been added. I found myself going out of scene to reset it
- Rooter Tool - Completely un-intuative as no feedback when getting it off of rooter, just that rooter goes crazy walking back and forth. Took me a long time to realise it was going into my inventory. There is no "item acquired message"
- Resolution Issues - Widescreen support is completely non existent
- Resolution Issues - Had to change a resolution that worked to play, took a while to find one that would work
-Window Mode - Switching from full screen to window - no resize option. I assume this is just the way it is but window mode is convenient to assist with writing bug details without needing another machine
- Object Pickup Feedback - Is generally non-existent throughout so you don't know when you have acquired something. As a slightly deaf person, I often play without audio dialog or sound and without the audio feedback, it was not clear that something had happened
- Walking - Appears clunky throughout. With the walking icon selected I found myself hammering the walk button in traditional sierra mode and unlike games I've played before. The smug bastard just stood still and didn't move.
- Walking - Exit area symbol (walking with arrow) works sometimes and others doesn't. I found the area grid for the symbol changing appears to have bad overlay locations. I found that the area I expected to switch to exiting a location didn't happen and main character would end up just standing in a space between scenes. I would then move the cursor around until it changed then he would walk back a bit into the scene to exit it. This was common throughout
Rooter - Returning rooters head. I decided to put there here as its an issue throughout. When trying to put rooters head back on rooter, you click rooter with his head and it just never works. eventually sometimes ACE will put it down into some oblivion space and it will magically re-attach to Rooter.
Opening Scene / Entryway
-----------------------
- Entry door - Bottom unlock spinner spins wrong way or has wrong artwork assigned
- Un-intuative - nothing happened until I walked towards the airlock, there was no queue that this was needed and the user interface was clunky so it took a while to realise I needed to switch to walking to get closer to the airlock before the interaction with the person started
- Dialog overlay location issues were evident due to the resolution issues mentioned previously
- Box Move Puzzle - You can't move the boxes out of order, for no apparent reason. For example. the box stacked on top should be movable anytime, however the option to move it didn't appear until I moved the first box down
Janitors Room
--------------------
Wowzers, this one was a doozy. Overall liked the room. I saw some other bugs around this one that I didn't experience but assume they are there.
- Pickup of rooter and placing on the shelf, has enough write ups that I'm not going to cover it here. Everyone has said this puzzle was just terrible. Something needs to change in the mechanics to make it more usable. I don't have a problem with the puzzle itself, its just that the user interface and feedback makes it very very hard to A)Complete without having done it before & B)Actually execute even when knowing how to do it.
- Sleeping character - Why no interaction? Prime opportunity for some better quips
Hallway (Steam Vent & Janitors Trolley)
--------------------
- Rooter - Frustrating to use as shit. Enough Said. The mechanics of putting the part on rooters head, using rooter, and interacting with objects. I found myself clicking 10-15 times to get rooters head to interact with the panel
- Rooter - Returning his head so I could swap the parts - See above in general regarding rooters head
Roombas Scene & Remote
-----------------------
- Remote Control - Oh for the love of god. I pounded my mouse trying to get that damn remote to click. I think it eventually did when I realised I was supposed to hover the item over one of the roombas and then click. Why? Why does it matter if I'm over a roomba first? If I have it in my hands, it should bloody click. Its a remote!!
Science Room
----------------
- I haven't had any specific issue in this room even on multiple play through
Elevator
----------------
- Elevator Buttons - Interface display is badly interactive. I found I would click for a different floor and ace would push a different button. Ace should push the button for the floor I select
- Reactor Room Return - When entering the lift from the reactor room but then changing my mind. I found I couldn't get Ace to exit back into the room. It was a one way trip. I had to change floors to go back where he promptly exited back into the reactor room! Argh!
Reactor Room
----------------
Besides the puzzle that got me stumped, there were a myriad of issues here
- Recycling Valve - I've seen this mentioned by someone else, and I had the same experience. Somehow the valve got into a 45% angle thing where it wasn't aligned when using it
- Recycling Valve - Sometimes it lights up, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it lights up then goes out... it was almost completely random
- Recycling Valve - The pipe next to the recycling valve showed water flowing through it when it shouldn't on one of the turns. It didn't make sense as there was no water there yet (I hadn't yet moved the Alien)
- Moving between floors - I found myself hammering the walk icon too many times to try and get ACE to move where I wanted (not just using the hand on a valve)
- Reactor - Why does the reactor stay hot after the alien is moved? Doesn't make sense. Something should change visually as the water is now clear to flow into the reactor
Elevator Escape
----------------
F*&^*&#@$ - This one pissed me off the most. I had to save and reload a bunch of times to get the damn thing to work.
- Rooter Tool - I picked up rooters head and then it magically disappears if I don't have it as my selected tool. This happens in a repeatable fashion. If I pickup rooters head then leave my active tool as the wrench, rooter dissapears from inventory. This becomes even more egregious if I've then stood on top of him as expected as I can't then step down...
- Standing on rooter - If I can stand on rooter, I should be able to get down off rooter. Nope.
- Bolt View - When viewing the bolt hole for the hatch I got the tiniest display view I've ever seen and couldn't make out the bolt. I had to go through the aforementioned multiple reloads to realise I needed the original part I used to remove the panel from the hall. This makes sense in retrospect (same builders) but didn't have continuity to the escape pod (as that uses a different bolt)
- Moving on top of elevator - Standing on top of the elevator and moving was very clunky, moving ACE was a test of patience.
Kitchen / Dining Area - Before / After Alien Disposal
----------------------
- Continuity Issue - When first coming to this room before the Alien disposal scene, there is no slushie or cup despite there clearly being some, but "empty for all". Then when I came up from below after the alien disposal there magically is? Would have been better to have someone place the empty cup in the toilet and then find it when looking in the toilets or have it ejected when you enter the toilets to get rid of the alien.
- Bottom Grill - Clipping and is overlaid on top of ACE and rooter when near it. I assume this is related to the later use of the object when you escape from the Alien "Slushie" Scene :)
Toilets
-----------------------
This scene seemed to work as intended, usability issues aside from the above general section
Rooter Hang Scene... not sure what else to call this
-------------------
- Rooter Swing - Maybe physics doesn't work in the spaceventure world lol, but Rooter should not swing the way he does, something is just off about the mechanic, It would be better if he turned a bit to the other direction
- Thruster Logic - This had me stumped for a minute and I think goes to UI intention. It wasn't obvious that clicking the thruster icon on the grill would make him "thrust" to that location. I kept clicking the thrust icon thinking that that was making him thrust and expecting him to detach somehow. You need to click where you want the action to occur. Something needs to make that more obvious across the entire UI interaction as its completely un-intuative (IMHO)
- Pauses after rooter parts pickups - There is a weird pause between ACE picking up pieces of rooter. Found myself spamming my mouse to try and get ACE to move again.
Tentacle Spiderman Scene
-----------------------
- Swing and move - After the first swing, ACE wouldn't move no matter where I clicked. I eventually got him to swing back and then hit bug 2.
- Ladders - Mine must have had some bad grease left over from the chips. I found an issue where after I got back from the aforementioned swing ACE couldn't get up the ladder. He would make the climbing action, maybe go a little bit up, then clip back to the floor again. Again, save, reload re-run rooter and pool scene repeat.
Kitchen part 3
------------------
- Slushie? - Grabbing the magically appearing slushy on my way through, went to escape pod and exited the station... hazaaa... except.
Escape Pod
----------------
- When Escaping, all I got was a white screen when the pod ejected until the scene cuts to inside the pod
- When scene zooms to outside the pod, there is no exterior pod view overlaid
- Talking with boss, no text dialog... if sound off, there is no feedback or understanding of what is going on.
