Memory bug is still there in the rooter repair puzzle. Also lost mouse during the repair.

Were you able to complete the repair?

Not OP, but I was able to complete the chip repair, there was a slight delay when leaving the microchip scene (heart in mouth moment), then it returned to the desk and I was able to reinsert the chip into Rooter and he sprung to life and jumped off the desk.

There might also be some issues with in what order you do things there as well as some other bugs. I had to do the puzzle a couple of times before I managed to successfully complete it.

I did it in the icon order from top to bottom:  Chips position first, then circuit tester, then repairer nanobot. Haven't tried doing them in another order yet.

I stopped using the circuit tester altogether. It's useless anyway.

I was able to do all three.
I pushed all the chips back first.  Then tester, where needed. Then used the gold nano.

After I lost the mouse cursor, I couldn't complete and gave up in fury to try again later. Will try when I have some time later.

i lost mouse cursor during repair as well, then game freaked out with bots traveling on their own - had to kill process

Ok. I just had another attempt at the rooter repair puzzle this morning. And no, I wasn't able to complete the repair before I ran out of memory and more interestingly disk IO, then game crashed. Screenshots attached. What I find most interesting is that the memory bug may actually be a symptom of high disk IO. There appears to be runaway disk IO activity that is causing the memory bug and exhaustion. Note that my disk IO is off the charts on a reasonably high end SSD. Which points at some possible issue in the image IO logic probably causing it to buffer in the images into memory in an out of control way exhausting memory by loading in the images into memory too many times until there is none left.

And this is with the latest beta build right? 1.01 (I think it is) - but called V3 for the software download?

Because I have an old Windows 7 system, 4GB RAM, nothing special - and with the latest build, did not hit that memory issue.

And to make sure you're using clean slate games (as in you started all over from the very start of the game)? Not restoring from the previous build save games?

Yes v1.01. Window 10. Clean slate playthrough to the point it occurs.

Memory use was low and fine until the puzzle loaded by looking into the microscope.

I was able to duplicate this issue with high CPU usage.

I experienced high Disk IO and Memory, not CPU. Did you mean memory?

Yes, memory - sorry.

Yeah it takes a minute or two to exit - I noticed the same thing.
