Really cool game with amazing art style. Felt really clean and well made and also fun to play! Loved the aesthetic of the game.

Really nice style. The character moves really well, very responsive but going through the wind gusts feel a little too fast. Just my 2 cents but slowing it down slightly or by adding some effect while you speed through the wind areas would help make it feel a lot better visually. Really well made though and the checkpoints were very useful 😅

Thank you for the review! I thought of adding a crosshair to help with aiming initially but it didn’t quite work out how I imagined it to and it felt more natural in the game’s current state. I’ll definitely look to adding it in the future though when I can make a crosshair and the mechanic work well with it.

Really cool game! I noticed the enemy fireballs also damage themselves so it was fun trying to position and get them to hit themselves. It was difficult to get used to keeping an eye on the wind direction with just the hats but really fun once you get used to it :) The only thing that feels like is missing would probably be some vfx for when someone dies since they just pop out of screen, but small nitpick for a jam game that doesn’t take away from the experience.

Thank you for the review! This game is currently just a demo as I haven’t fully planned out levels and such and was more so to test out the mechanics and how it would play out. I’ll be sure to add to it as I get more time and update with proper and full levels with more content :)

Thank you for playing! I enjoyed your game as well :)

Very cool game! A lot of chaotic fun. The window movement was a very clean addition but every once in a while I wouldn’t be able to see some of the game view as it partially leaves the screen. Overall really well made though!

Thank you!

These are really helpful tips we appreciate the feedback :)

We haven’t had much experience with pixel art and there was very little time on top of that but should be just improving from here on

Appreciate the feedback :>

Thank you for playing our game and for the feedback! Initially we had planned for there to be visual feedback for things like characters getting hit, though we ran out of time. For future we will keep in mind the suggestions for UI and controls.

Unique gameplay, took me a few tries to understand what was happening but interesting concept.

Thanks for trying out the game :) The character moves slow at the start, but starts to be a lot faster and fluid as you kill enemies and progress the ghost meter (the ghost icon becomes more visible at top right), as for the soul jump, if you get the soul meter to white (icon beside the ghost), you’ll be able to perform it and jump higher.

I apologize for some mechanics to seem broken as the game broke towards the end and I wasn’t able to fix it in time, but will work on it again in an attempt to fix it :)

Thanks for playing the game! There is sound and music in the game (try turning up the music and sound volume in game if you can’t hear). Thank you for the feedback, it is really appreciated and we will try to remember them for next time! :)

That’s great to hear! Thank you :)

Thank you for checking out the game! Being unable to shoot might be a keybind issue, have you tried changing the keybinds from the settings page before starting? I apologize for the inconvenience of settings page, I double checked that to make sure it would work with any scale. If you have another monitor you could try it on maybe give that a go? Again, sorry for the issues :(

Thank you! :)

Thanks for playing the game! We unfortunately didn’t think much on movement and realized that is what we should’ve done when it was too late. Glad you enjoyed the game :)

Thank you :)

yea sadly was too tired to make a bot to play against :(

Thanks for trying out the game! maybe if you have siblings they'd be down to play with you :)

Thanks for playing :). We looked at our keyboards and realized arrow keys controls might be a bit difficult and uncomfortable so we tired to figure out the most comfortable solution😅

Thank you! We realized the sound was too loud a little too late. Thanks for trying out the game :)

Thank you! :) We ended up not being able to finish the game fully so there were still a few unresolved bugs 😅

Very cool game! This was really fun to play and finding new combinations was very enjoyable. They also sound well together :) Highest I could get was 37 but I still wonder if there is some way to fit most of them on the stage. Over all very cool and interesting game. Really enjoyed it :D

Thanks for playing! Haven't worked with animations enough to get it to be too snappy but will figure out better ways for next time :)

Thank you! :)

Thanks for playing! Will try to make it better for next time :)

Thanks for playing! Yea we were trying something new with how you move in the game but it didn't work out so well.

Thanks for playing :) I'll check out your game as well

Nice game. Took a little bit to get used to mechanics but once you get used to it you can go fast. Nice graphics too!

This was fun to play! A small thing I noticed was that you're able to move faster going diagonally but nothing game breaking. Being able to adjust volume levels would be a great addition. But overall, this was a good and fun game :)

Really fun game with very cool visuals and sounds. Loved the game :)
