Don't forget to view the game's page for instructions! There is also an Instructions.txt file as well!

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't see anywhere I could post a big box of text on the entry page. But I did include a readme.txt

For your packs, are we able to edit the works and still use it within a commercial product?

For example, say if I wanted to change the color of one of the weapons to represent a type of weapon in my product. Or for your character pack, if I wanted to do change the color for a character? Is that fine?

This next pitch comes from this fairy tale linked below:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Armless_Maiden

Pitch(Teen to Adult)

A 2D sidescrolling platformer where a woman loses her arms due to the manipulation spells of a sister-in-law witch. She has to find a way to defeat the witch so the spell will be broken.

Gameplay: The player is the armless woman that must kick and jump her way through the game.

Moral of the game: Jealously will lead to your downfall.

We can always of course change things and go over more specifics but let me know what peeps think!

I am a fan of more mature stories so my vote goes to the South Korean pitch. But other than that both are awesome!

Fairytale community · Created a new topic Whhich genre?

With fairytales I think RPG would work best due to the fantasy nature. I personally would love to go the route of roguelike as I am focusing on learning BSP. But like always I'm down for anything!

Fairytale community · Created a new topic How mature?

I have found a huge list of fairytales on the cool site Wikipedia:

With that said are we going to be making the game with kids in mind? Or have more of an adult focus? Of course we can go in the middle.

I'm just programming but I vote more on an adult theme.

Ahh HTML5. That is something I don't have much experience in. But that is good because I can learn. I prefer unity 2D but like I said I'm open for anything! Also I don't think you have to do much coding if at all if you just do art. But it depends on what you want to do.

I also prefer 2D as I'm still learning lots of new things. I'll check out construct2 when I get home. Unity can also do really good 2D.

Hello to all the fellow Game Jammers. I'm new to game jamming and I'm a budding game programmer willing to learn and make some games!

With that said what type of programs are we thinking of using? Unity? Maya? and what programming language? C#? JS? I'm personally learning unity myself but I'm open to using anything!

Just learned about this site but I'm a budding game programmer willing to learn and help out!
