Thank you!

I liked how your protagonist and her enemies were connected!

I love the ending!

I loved the characters and the events that unfolded, and your writing was great!

I liked your story a lot, and it is very difficult to write a first-person story, especially under 1000 words. I also like what the story adds to the Grimdark universe.

I loved these dwaves! You prose was well-constructed and it felt natural. While I understand the folks who said the end came suddenly, that's kind of how it goes in stories this short. :D

Thank you very much!

I loved seeing a glimpse of the Havoc Brothers and their take on the Sirius sector.

This is a well-written story with very good prose Nice work!

This is definitely one of my favorites in this jam. Plus, I was entirely surprised and the end, and for once, there were good humans in a xeno story. :D

Excellent story! For once, the well-meaning mage isn't directly undone by his own hubris - he's indirectly undone by his on hubris. ;-)

I like the meta-meta-story! Very cool.

If that Inquisitor wanted to really keep me from reading it, he should've just ended the note with like "banana banana banana banana..." maybe 500 times or so. I wouldn't have actually read that. Just a tip for future Inquisitors who want to trap lexidaemons!

Good work! I, for one, look forward to Nureth getting his own novel.  :)

I got a real feel for the desperation and frustration of the characters!

(As for the OPR canon, I think your story could easily fit into the universe. I'd just say the Inquisition isn't as powerful and authoritative, but that doesn't mean there's no case in which an Inquisitor might have managed to secure the authority, through bribery or extortion, to command some Battle Brothers in a certain instance. So it's not impossible for an Inquisitor to command Battle Brothers - it's just something you'd have to spell out if you were going to expand the story.)

I loved the world-building in your story!

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me.

Thanks! The hardest part for my brain was, "How do you survive a black hole?" when spaghettification is obviously your primary risk. ;-)

The answer, of course, is "(brain) Magic!"

Thank you so much!

Thanks so much!!

Thank you!

Thanks so much!

Thank you!

Yes! That model and Hector Rex inspired me to create the miniature that in turn inspired the character Lucius Cimber. So, it's maybe... half of an intentional callback?

I really liked it! 👍
