I can't wait to try the demo for Royal Order! I loved Royal Alchemist, so I'm sure this will be a great game too. :) The art looks beautiful.

I had the same issue too since I recently deleted my PayPal. The game is also on Steam so I bought it from there using my debit card :)

I cannot find the demo for this game, only Rick's Valentine Day.

I'm excited to play the full game! The demo was really fun, so I'm looking forward to it. :)

I've also already written this review on steam, but I wanted to post it here as well in case some people exclusively view and I wanted more people to know about this amazing game.

This is my review:

"Royal Alchemist is a game that is better than how it looks and that is already saying a lot considering how amazing it looks like. It’s unique, special, full of good content, and just a joy to play.

I usually hate stat raising in visual novels; I find them unnecessary. Sometimes it even feels like the developers use it as a cheap way to distract us from the lack of actual content in the story. So it was surprising to see how much I actually enjoyed – and not tolerated, but genuinely enjoyed – the stat raising aspect of this game. The dialogue changed based on the stats, your lives depended on those stats, and how much you knew and figure out also depended on those stats. That added a great replay value to the game. They made complete sense and were essential. However, precisely because they make so much sense, I recommend for everyone to save often in the game, because if you raise the wrong stats, you really can die. Luckily though, you get stronger after that. There is a story mode and adventure mode. I’ve played with story-mode first and died about 2 times, but depending on your choices, you can have more chances to die.

Anyway, I mentioned before how I thought that developers sometimes uses stats to cover up lack of content. That was NOT the case with Royal Alchemist. In fact, it had a rich story with plot twists, lovable love interests, smart main character, and likable side characters. After playing through all the routes, I was able to learn new things about events that took place in another characters’ route and see different sides of the story. I’ve spent about 25-30 hours playing the game so it is definitely worth its price."

Also, I wanted to thank the developers for making this wonderful game. I’m on the discord too so I’ve already said this there, but Royal Alchemist has become one of my favorite visual novels. 😊

I see. That makes sense! (Especially if the full story would get revealed right after the restaurant story). Thank you for replying to my comment. ^^

I wasn't able to fund the project when it was live on kickstarter, but I will make sure to buy it when it gets released. :) I know I said it previously, but this game just looks more amazing the more I look at it. I was hooked seconds after I started to play the demo, and then it just kept getting better.

I just played the updated demo and I have to say, it looks amazing! I'm so excited to play the final version. :) I'm sure I will love it just as much as Changeling if not even more. The characters all look really interesting and I love the customization and the flowchart as well. I've not played through all possible choices yet, but so far Jack is my favorite. One idea I had though - if possible - is to maybe omit some details about the characters in the bio until they are revealed in the story. For example, in-game Jack said that he is with that cult, but when I checked his bio, it showed that he was lying to me the whole time and that he is with Crimson. It's fine either way though because I enjoyed the demo regardless.  It's just an idea I had. I don't know how to program so I have no idea how complicated my suggestion would be either.

Anyway, I look forward to playing the full game! :)

I only watch the updates so maybe? I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your status updates (even though I don't comment much) and I'm looking forward to playing your game! :)

The art looks beautiful. When you have time would you be able to give us a short description for the game though?

If it's alright, can you give me some more pointers in how to get the leader ending? I am on Randall's path and I had high rep points with all houses (wasn't equally high but they were close enough) and I did tell Randal, the Iscari, and that Mavvar guy that I will unite LA but for some reasons, the "My rebellion" option has never came up. Did you perhaps maxed out determination and if so, how? Or maybe I'm not supposed to agree to Andrei's deal, I don't know. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and it's getting tiring to go through his route over and over again just to get the leader ending. (Since I've already got all of Randall's other endings, including the special ending)

Thank you.

I'm just not sure how to show the ambition. I've tried to tell Randall every chance I got that anarchy doesn't work while also showing that I don't like Saorise. However, because I agreed to work with Andre, he just assumes that I'm on Andrei's side even after I've told him that I have a bad feeling about Andrei.  and if I don't make the deal with Andre, he just assumes that I chose the rebel cause despite me telling him every chance I got that I disagree with his view on anarchy. So I'm not sure if I'm missing an event or something besides when I told Randall, the Mavvar, and the Iscari that I want to rule LA.  Or maybe I'm just playing it wrong, I'm not sure. xd

This is the scene between me and Randall that shows up after I agreed to work with Andre and my reputation is higher with the Mavvar (unless this is still just part of the The Andrei <-> Randal ending swaperoo bug):

Red Embrace: Hollywood community · Created a new topic Bug?

I'm currently on Randall's path as an Iscari and I've got all his endings (including the special one. Rip my soul) except one ending. From what I've heard it's supposedly possible to become LA's leader so I've told Randal that I want to be that, hinted for the Iscari about new leadership, told the Mavvar that I'm going to unite LA and I got my reputation up with all three houses up almost equally.  But the option to start my rebellion or take over LA has never happened. I tried to even make a deal with Lazarus to kill off Andrei and declared Andrei at the end. But even after Andrei died, the Golgotha couldn't agree for the leader to be me? Even though I was supposed to get a leadership position from Andrei? I don't know if my personality is supposed to be something else or what's going on.

Also, even after I side with the rebellion and they save me, I end up getting Andrei's end where I have the choice of saving Andrei or letting Lazarus kill him and Randall disappears.

And if I choose Iscari, I just end up dying even though my stats considerably rise up for Iscari after choosing them.

I have Version 13.

This are my stats and the options at the announcement scene before I choose a side:

I just got all the endings. It seems like to get the "true end" or to find out about the chocolates, you have to play through all the ends, including the bad ones as well.  Not sure how far you've gotten in getting the ends though, because some of them are tricky and you also have play around with answers when he asks you if you remember him or not. :)

I'm honestly not sure myself but based on their recent update, it shouldn't take that long to release the game considering that they have finished up all the character routes and said that the programming should be a speedy process. I have to agree with ZeeToat, the hiatus is probably just an April's Fool joke. Plus that "new project" doesn't look good enough to be real. xD They hyped up Red Embrase: Hollywood a lot, so there's no way that a more important project announcement would look like that. xD (At least I hope so)

(As a warning, there.might be spoilers here) First of all, I want to say that I enjoyed playing this game. I'm just confused about the romance part. I've read it before that you can only romance one person. But when I romances Jon first no one commented on it. Is that bug? I've also met Felix through Jon, but when I met Felix with others again, she didn't recognize him.

Also, in my second attempt, I romanced Ari, confessed and started dating him. Michelle and the others didn't comment on that either. It also let me to romance Jon while dating Ari and let me confess to Jon as well. is that on purpose and is there going to be a scene when they find out she' two or have a harem ending or is that bug? I'm not sure how the ending would work out if I continue romance both. Would it only show the ending for the first one I've started dating?

Do you know approximately when the english version will be out? It's always so sad to see a game with good potential but not in the language I can read it. (Sorry, it's just that I found that there has been a game I've waited for months to get translated, only to read that the english translation has been dropped. I just hope that won't happen to this game. :) )

Okay, thanks for explaining it. :) I emailed you with the subject "Goldenrose from, RockRobin" so that you will know who's emailing you. ^^

Hi dear creators!

(I also have a few questions and a bug report at the end of my post)

First let me tell you that I simply love this game. I played through all the main routes: Beau, Emmitt, and Dallas, and I liked all of them. My first one was Emmitt and he was just too adorable for words. At the beginning, I thought he was a bit annoying because of his bragging, but after he joined the band, he was just too likeable. I really liked his responses after he received a gift from Robin too. Whenever he asked Robin to do something after he got a gift, I wished Robin would just say yes, because he soo deserved it just by being him.

Then I played Beau and I didn't think I would like him half as much as Emmitt because of his attitude towards the band and everything, but he turned perfect. Honestly, he was my favorite out of all three of them in the main route. Although he wasn't as adorable as Emmitt, but he was neither half as much of a pain as Dallas was (because Dallas with his meanness toward Robin and everything was just too annoying sometimes and I wished he would just get over it. Although, the ending for him was really nice and made up for most of frustration.) I also liked how everyone reacted when Beau and Robin began to "date." Plus the way they tried to annoy each other was just too funny. I loved Beau so much, I wished that I could have a Beau for myself sometimes when I played his route.

And now with Dallas... He was one complicated man for sure. He also made me feel the same way about him as Robin. At times, I liked him and at other times, I wished he would just stop with all his nonsense. He was too protective of Emmitt (who turned out to be just as adorable in Dallas' route as in his own, and I loved how he comforted Robin when bad things happened) and was nowhere near as nice as Beau. But maybe I only felt that way, because I already played Beau, so whenever Beau said something about band relationships and what not, I just thought, "Come on, Beau. We know that's not really how it is." Plus it was just too funny when Robin teased him in Dallas' route after he lectured her. I just felt so bad when Robin made him look like he only cared about money and the band reputation and not about the band members. After I saw how hurt Beau looked from Robin saying things like that, I started to beg Robin in my mind to just give up on Dallas and go back to Beau and comfort that poor guy who clearly cared about her. But then, I remembered that I was already on Dallas' route and it was impossible, so I just tried to get over it and forget how perfect Beau was on his own route.

So back to Dallas, because I started to get sidetracked by Beau's perfection. I really don't have anything against him, because in his route, Robin acted just as foolish as Dallas, so even though he annoyed me sometimes, I could understand him. At the same time, it was also understandable why it was so hard for Robin, especially when she and Dallas already had a history together. And the fact that she was with Sterling at that time just made it even more complicated. After I've seen their flashbacks, it was even more clear for me that it was both of their faults that they weren't friends anymore. It was just sad to see how perfectly everything could have turned out if Robin didn't start dating Sterling (who turned out to be even worse than in Emmitt' and Beau's route.). But like I said, the ending for Dallas made up for all their foolishness so it was fine.

And now with the Open-Ended mode. So far, I played Faust, Alessandro (who almost equaled Emmitt's cuteness), and Collin. First of all, Faust was in whole new level of fantastic. He wasn't like Emmitt, Dallas, or Beau, but I liked him just the same or even more. Why? Because his confession, his actions, even his frustrating moments, and everything... he was just too sexy and attractive and irresistible. And the way he annoyed Robin when he started speaking German was hilarious. I also liked Faust interaction with Alessandro (since I put them in the same band). At first, I messed it up and could not get into his romance route, but after I managed to, I really started to like him. Although, I could completely understand Robin's frustration that Faust was just too expensive to hire. I only forgave him for that, because his explanation made it funnier. Plus I already liked him (even in Dallas' route when Robin was telling him all her troubles and he didn't even have reaction after that and after asking her if she felt better after that, he walked away) which made me forgive him for everything.

And now with Colin. I wanted to play him since the moment I saw him in the main route, because I was really curious how he would make Robin fall for him, since I seriously could not see that happening. And then he made it happen, and he even managed to make me like him. Probably, because at the end, I felt that the reason for all his acting in front of Robin was just, because he was to insecure to be himself. Although, there were times when even I questioned his actions due to his past with Robin, but at that point, he already made a way to my heart, so I was just mostly mad at Robin for not trusting him more. Since Colin was already in the band and helping Robin, I sort of figured that he wasn't there to hurt her or anything like that.

The only bad thing about the game is that when I looked at the schedule, I noticed that Seth would be released last and I wanted to play him the most. Even when I was already in love with Beau, I felt that Seth could equal him for some reason. I mean, just the way Robin met Seth with his music notes and everything made me like him. So after I played Beau, I looked at the schedule and... he was the last one to be released.

Also, when would Bruno and Owen be released? I have version 0.75 right now and when I added Bruno and Owen to my band, nothing happened. They don't even talk. So I was just curious when they would be released or if I have the right version or not. The other thing is that at first I had version 0.60, then I downloaded the newest version, and although it saved my saving points and I could play Faust, I could not find his name in the Memorabilia. Claudette and Sterling were also not there even though I met them in the main route. Plus I could not even put Claudette in the band, because she was not even in the list of people I could hire. Or is Claudette's name should only be there after she's released?
