Hi everyone!
About a year and a half ago I made game called Hibernation: https://gilel.itch.io/hibernation
I get a view or two here or there, but randomly I noticed I've been getting a couple views every single day for like the past week:
I checked on the analytics and it says the url is: https://yandex.ru/ which I think is a Russian search engine or something. It has videos and links and stuff, so I tried looking on the website but I couldn't find my game or anything.
Anyone with experience with this stuff, do you have any advice on how to see where its specifically posted? I don't want it removed or anything, I think its cool and all! I was just curious and wanted to see if it was a video of someone playing it, or like just a link to it!
Pretty cool game! There were some problems with the collision of your player not changing size as you got big, so I would be massive and go right over some honey or power ups and it would not pick them up, and general detection of absorbing other bees was hard to figure out. Also I assume the other players are AI or mostly AIs, and they are cool but aren't very aggressive and none of them seemed to try to capture any of the flowers or hives. Otherwise really cool!
The game features 5 levels and a boss fight if anyone is interested! The story is that Wizard Duck tried to create magic bread to feed his ducklings, but the bread came alive and duck-napped them! So now he has a to go on a picross/nonogram adventure to save them!
I tried my best to make the game as polished as I could, but all feedback is appreciated!
I currently have no plans for mobile, but if there is enough request I might do it!
The reason you were able to load it on mobile is because the game runs in the browser, so the game will technically run, however a phone doesn't physically have any of the computer buttons, so you can't input anything.
Thanks for the recommendation tho, I will be sure to consider mobile! :)
Hi everyone!
I submitted my game on time yesterday, and put in a timer in case anyone wanted to speedrun it. My friends ended up really enjoying it and have been practicing it more and more, so I added a few small quality of life features like a restart button and restart counter.
I was wondering if I was allowed to update the game by adding the new builds to the page, or if that is against the rules?
Thank you for the help!
