Just a minor update on the state of things: we have been continuing to tweak Krampus and gameplay over the last few days. If you haven't played since Christmas Eve, I'd encourage you to give it a second look!

Developer

Oh! Also here's a little game "trailer": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz8VL4mC6Oo&ab_channel=TeamBoxmen

Fun little game, I stopped playing but left it open at first and was talking to my GF then krampus got me and scared the shit outta me lol. Good submission

Developer

Haha we appreciate it :)

I liked the art and sounds used. The mechanics were implemented well and I like the story/objective of the game. I was a little confused on how I was supposed to craft the doll and what were actually pieces of the doll, but overall this was really well done. Nice work!

Great job guys! very entertaining, I couldn't figure out how to assembly the doll once I got what I thought was all the pieces, but that Krampus kept getting me..

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing! The doll needs to be assembled at Santa's home workshop, located at the corner of the house. If an item doesn't fit inside, it's not part of the doll

I thought this was pretty fun and quite impressive that you got all this done in the time allotted. I liked that you went a creepier take on the theme as well. Great job!

Developer

Thank you!

Who would have thought that you could do a horror story on the theme of the new year))

Developer

We love any opportunity to make something that'll scare ourselves lol

Fun game. I did enjoy myself more off screen and played a while with it. The sound design and overall look is simplistic, it's creepy and most of all, I was addicted to find pieces and beat Krampus. Unfortunately, I didn't in the video, but it's okay. Neat work, dev.

Developer

We appreciate the feedback! Look for a little more fleshing out of gameplay in the next few days or so...

Developer

Thanks for playing! Did you end up beating the game off-screen. Also did you manage to find the flashlight?

Its really scary and well made for such a short window, great job!

Developer(+2)

Thank you! We put a lot of work into it and lost many hours of sleep trying to fit it all in the window so it means a lot to us!

Scary. I retried the game multiple times and even though I expected it coming, it gave me the goosebumps. Does krampus detect noise? He catches me every single time before I can even do anything.

Developer(+1)

Yes, he does. There's quite a bit of strategy to sneaking around--crouching and hiding in stuff in order to get around him.

Developer(+1)

Try turning on a sink! Then he will ignore your footsteps and go to turn it off
