A little confusing at first, but interesing mechanics and concept.
Good game and interesting mechanics, however it does not look like a Gameboy game to me.
The graphics and the retro feel are good, but the enemies hitboxes are too big(?), and the trees do nothing to the player.
Nice work, it actually feel like a NES game. The background could use some art tho.

The graphics are very good, but the animations and the game itself need a lot of polish. Also it quickly become repetitive.

i press up(tapping or holding) and the character just switch animation and barely jumping 1 pixel or two. Sometimes it jump right, but mostly doesn't.

The game is too simple, it does not have things or obstacles to made it fun. it look relatively good however and the music is also good.
