1. The mermaid quest is in the game. She's found in a house in the north part of Flooded Colony. But there's a character (Dollmaker) in East Lampcrop Borderwoods you need to interact with first for her to show up there.
2. The next part of Squonk and Annie's story is not in game yet.
3. If you've already united all 3 Gremlins, then you can't see the first one anymore. (I'll add a way to see it again in a future update.)

Most weapons deal damage based on Attack. Weapons labeled 'Arcane' or 'Arcane Weapon' use the Arcane stat instead. Weapons don't add any stats themselves, instead they alter your Basic Attack and give you new skills.

The book next to Bunyan will give you more specific details for each weapon/upgrade. But it's not up to date with the balance changes I made in v0.301.

Each Token of Honor is a permanent boost to that stat you choose, so they do stack up.

I hadn't heard about that one. I'll look into it.

I posted an updated version today that tries to fix this issue. Are you playing on that version?

Have you gone to the Library and met the Horsewoman there? Or are you stuck at the point after that where you need to cross the river?

There might be something similar-looking, but I haven't played Look Outside before so I'm not sure. I designed all the enemies for this game myself.

Damn, could've sworn I tested for that (giving her the note, fighting Headless, then going back.) K, I'll be posting a small updated version tomorrow with some other bugfixes and balance changes. I'll include a work-around for this issue. Sorry about that.

Have you gone back and talked to Bunyan after fighting the Headless horsewoman?

Painted key opens the back of the clock tower, the one in the south-east part of Lampcrop (the forest area)

Sorry about that. I'd like to add more differences between difficulty modes in the future, including making Easy a bit less punishing (lowered enemy HP and stats compared to other difficulties.) I think I overtuned the enemies in Flooded Colony a bit in general, but big changes to that will have to wait for the next version unfortunately.

I'd recommend trying out what the other commenter suggested, if you'd still like to try and get through the 2nd area. But don't feel forced to.

No, I don't have any voice-acting added to the game yet.

Her second H-scene, I meant. Which you unlock by upgrading a weapon to +2 at her forge after you've found the shortcut to her forge from Flooded Colony. (located in the North-Eastern part of Flooded Colony)

Bunyan has three scenes in this version. But if you're having trouble unlocking her 3rd: After going through both of her new 'Talk' options unlocked after her 2nd scene, there's an item that appears on the east side of Flooded Colony. Showing that to her starts her 3rd scene.

Strange. Thank you for documenting this so thoroughly, I'll look into this and see if I can get it fixed for future updates.

Strange, I'll look into this. Does this happen every time you enter a fight with the Knight's Blade +2?

Yep, I've heard about the issue with the revolver.

For Bunyan's 3rd scene: After going through both of her new 'Talk' options unlocked after her 2nd scene, there's an item that appears on the east side of Flooded Colony. Showing that to her starts her 3rd scene.

Thank you for playing! I'm taking a short break after finishing v0.3 but I'll be back to work on future updates soon. I'll make a post with some more details/plans for the next updates sometime next week. Glad you liked it so much!

Not yet. It's intended to be something that becomes usable later on after a specific side quest. (One that's not in the game yet.) After that it will have some unique interactions with specific items, probably like the one you're thinking of.

By checking the sparkly spot by the river you should get an item called "Note - Flooded Path." Show that to Bunyan, then exit and re-enter her zone and talk to her again. That should start the sequence.

I'm not sure exactly, I'm not familiar with Joiplay. And in general I'm not going to be looking at mobile ports/options until the game is fully finished.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad somebody saw the eyes lol, they actually pop up in a few places.

I'll make note of the easy difficulty thing, and the bug with Bunyan's scene. For the next update I'll look into adding some more variance to the different difficult modes. Enemies with lower HP or stats on lower difficulty modes or something like that.

Yep, her 3rd h-scene is accessed in a different way rather than just weapon upgrades. She should have 2 new options in her "talk" menu after her 2nd scene. After both of those the journal entry for Bunyan should update with a hint as to how to proceed in her quest.
If you'd like more specifics, there's a "hints" text file in the game folder that will have more details on how to get all the H-scenes.

Gotcha, I'll look into that and do some more testing/balancing for the weapons for next time.

The glossary section of the journal includes a section for all the game's status effects.

Found the problem with the Hidebehind quest. Uploaded a new version where it should be fixed.

Also yeah, Yida and her stuff is no longer available after seeing the Headless Horsewoman's 2nd scene. If you want to see the date scene you'll have to load a save from before then.

For both of those, you have to show specific items to Bunyan.
You can get the clocktower key by showing her any other key you've picked up. By checking the river you should get an item called "Note - Flooded Path," by showing that to Bunyan she can help you cross the river (you might have to exit and re-enter her area after you give it to her.)

Sounds like it might be an operating system issue. Are you playing on linux? Honestly I'm still not 100% sure that version works.

You do get an special item that permanently boosts stats for actually beating her, so there is a reward for it. But yeah, I can understand wanting a little something more specifically related to lewd content.
If I wanted to give Headless Horsewoman an extra scene in the future, that'd be a decent spot for it. I'll make a note of it. Like you said, though, compared to other stuff it's not a high priority for me.

Ah, I see. Most 'Key Items' like the map aren't meant to be usable like normal items. If they are greyed-out like that then that means they don't have a menu function and are instead used elsewhere. Some might come up in character interactions if they're in your inventory, or you can open a gate or door if you have the right key in your inventory.

Picking up the Map item here is what enables you to view the map by pressing 'Tab' but it doesn't have a function in the menu.

You can open the map with the 'Tab' key after you've picked it up at the start of the first area.

I figured that was that problem, I've heard about that from a few other people. Definitely a bit of an unintended interaction. In the later beta builds I fixed the issue in a few ways. It won't use that attack as much anymore and I adjusted damage formulas so that changes in ATK and DEF won't completely nullify damage. So It won't be an issue once v0.3 releases.

As for how to deal with them in v0.2. Best bet is probably to burst them down with the pistol. There's also an accessory called the "Cryptid's Ring" that gives a skill that removes ATK debuffs. You can find it on the eastern edge of the forest in a cave. Though I think in v0.2 it only removes 1 debuff stack so it might not be as effective.

I've thought about it but the idea of moderating a discord server fills me with dread lol. If enough people want it though, then I'll do it. Maybe I'll do a poll on patreon or include it as a question on a feedback survey for v0.3.

What was the problem you ran into with the Light Seeker enemy?

Thank you so much, glad you liked it! I'm hoping that combat will become more engaging as players are given more options and tougher foes in later areas. Certainly for elite enemies and bosses I would like to increase their complexity to make them more interesting to fight, and add some extra combat animations to make enemy actions more clear.

That's really strange. Honestly I have no idea why it would get flagged. This is a regular RPGMaker game, it doesn't have any viruses. I tried asking that site to re-scan it, and it didn't have come up with any flags.

I have to assume it got flagged by mistake. No one else who's tried the game has reported any issues to me. But, if you still have misgivings, you can play the game in browser on Newgrounds: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1023472

But that version has some issues with text and can't transfer saves between updates.

You can find the mossy key by checking the little pile of rocks next to the clocktower. This one:

I haven't made a discord server for the game, it's not something I'm really interested in doing.

Yep, I'm planning to add in a journal type of item, where you can track objectives related to each character. It'll include other features, too, like a bestiary.

An h-scene gallery is in the works as well. And what I'll probably do for the release is include some hints to unlocking scenes in the patch notes for if people are having trouble finding them.

Thank you so much! Honestly even the amount of attention it's gotten so far has been pretty surreal. Hoping it can continue to grow.

Hey, thanks for playing!

The whole Brothel/King's Remains thing will be expanded as the game gets updated. Princess sells them so players have a repeatable source of them to unlock future scenes there, among other reasons.

Also yeah, I'd say visually Princess' scene was the one I was actually unsatisfied with. I feel like I struggle to make non-animated sex scenes dynamic or impactful. I think in the future I'd like to re-draw that one or bump it up to a full animation maybe.

Hey there. Sorry, I should have included a note in game that the river is where this version ends off for now. The way to cross it and the area past it will be included next time. There's also some extra stuff in the library/brothel that will be added in the future.

I would definitely like to add an accessible gallery soon, especially as more scenes get added. Not sure about a quest journal or guide, but I'll consider it.
