Yida's 3rd scene is available after killing all enemies in the first area (Lampcrop Borderwoods) and going back to the house. However, if you've progressed in the story past a certain point (meeting Headless after the 2nd area) it won't be available anymore. It's definitely still a little buggy to actually get, so I'll look into ways of fixing it in future updates.
For Black Hound you have to bring her a total of 3 diaries.
The first two are found in Lampcrop (the hints.txt file in the game folder should have exact locations.)
Then there are two more in Flooded Colony:
3 is found by exiting out the northwest part of one of the southern areas. (It's the map with a large park filled with blue flowers.)
4. Is found on a box in the north-eastern part of the area.

If you show a different Key to Bunyan, she'll give you a new Key that opens the clock tower.

Found it. Thanks for catching that.

Yeah sounds like the monitor issue. I'll look into solutions for that, thanks for the report.

Once you do her new 'Talk' options after her 2nd H-scene, the item you need should appear in this area:

No worries! I'm glad you got it working.

Was it a full crash like in your other comment? Or did the screen freeze, but you could still hear audio? If it's the 2nd I think it's an issue caused by high refresh rate monitors in RPGMakerMV games.

Thanks, I think I can tell what might be causing that from this. I'll look into it.

I'm sorry, I'm unfamiliar with how this stuff works on Linux and I haven't heard anything from other folks who have downloaded that version.

If you have steam maybe the 'add a non-steam game to my library' function might help?

Cave girl is found in one of the building in the center of the 2nd area. A two-story one.

Annie does have her 2nd hunt available, but you can only find it after meeting the cave girl again. She's located in one of the other buildings in that center area.

For Princess you just have to spend enough Poxflowers at her shop then talk to her again. You can access the Courtesan's scenes by giving her the item 'King's Remains.'
Yida's second scene is accessed by speaking to her in her room. But if you've progressed the story past a certain point, her scenes won't be available anymore. (If you've met Headless Horsewoman past Flooded Colony)

Oh you're right, I totally forgot to fill in the spots for diaries 3 and 4 in the hint file.

3 is found by exiting out the northwest part of one of the southern areas. (It's the map with a large park filled with blue flowers.)

4. Is found on a box in the north-eastern part of the area.

You can open the map by pressing 'Tab'

RPGMakerMV games no longer work on modern Mac software, so I stopped uploading ports for it. Sorry.

(1 edit)

Hm, it's possible it could get stuck disabled after the Yida date event, but there'd be other problems as well. I would just double check to make sure you're interacting with the right spot. It's 2 steps behind the clocktower and facing down.

Not sure if you mean the mermaid village or the vault, both aren't included yet. Next public update in a few months should have both added.

1. The mermaid quest is in the game. She's found in a house in the north part of Flooded Colony. But there's a character (Dollmaker) in East Lampcrop Borderwoods you need to interact with first for her to show up there.
2. The next part of Squonk and Annie's story is not in game yet.
3. If you've already united all 3 Gremlins, then you can't see the first one anymore. (I'll add a way to see it again in a future update.)

Most weapons deal damage based on Attack. Weapons labeled 'Arcane' or 'Arcane Weapon' use the Arcane stat instead. Weapons don't add any stats themselves, instead they alter your Basic Attack and give you new skills.

The book next to Bunyan will give you more specific details for each weapon/upgrade. But it's not up to date with the balance changes I made in v0.301.

Each Token of Honor is a permanent boost to that stat you choose, so they do stack up.

I hadn't heard about that one. I'll look into it.

I posted an updated version today that tries to fix this issue. Are you playing on that version?

Have you gone to the Library and met the Horsewoman there? Or are you stuck at the point after that where you need to cross the river?

There might be something similar-looking, but I haven't played Look Outside before so I'm not sure. I designed all the enemies for this game myself.

Damn, could've sworn I tested for that (giving her the note, fighting Headless, then going back.) K, I'll be posting a small updated version tomorrow with some other bugfixes and balance changes. I'll include a work-around for this issue. Sorry about that.

Have you gone back and talked to Bunyan after fighting the Headless horsewoman?

Painted key opens the back of the clock tower, the one in the south-east part of Lampcrop (the forest area)

Sorry about that. I'd like to add more differences between difficulty modes in the future, including making Easy a bit less punishing (lowered enemy HP and stats compared to other difficulties.) I think I overtuned the enemies in Flooded Colony a bit in general, but big changes to that will have to wait for the next version unfortunately.

I'd recommend trying out what the other commenter suggested, if you'd still like to try and get through the 2nd area. But don't feel forced to.

No, I don't have any voice-acting added to the game yet.

Her second H-scene, I meant. Which you unlock by upgrading a weapon to +2 at her forge after you've found the shortcut to her forge from Flooded Colony. (located in the North-Eastern part of Flooded Colony)

Bunyan has three scenes in this version. But if you're having trouble unlocking her 3rd: After going through both of her new 'Talk' options unlocked after her 2nd scene, there's an item that appears on the east side of Flooded Colony. Showing that to her starts her 3rd scene.

Strange. Thank you for documenting this so thoroughly, I'll look into this and see if I can get it fixed for future updates.

Strange, I'll look into this. Does this happen every time you enter a fight with the Knight's Blade +2?

Yep, I've heard about the issue with the revolver.

For Bunyan's 3rd scene: After going through both of her new 'Talk' options unlocked after her 2nd scene, there's an item that appears on the east side of Flooded Colony. Showing that to her starts her 3rd scene.

Thank you for playing! I'm taking a short break after finishing v0.3 but I'll be back to work on future updates soon. I'll make a post with some more details/plans for the next updates sometime next week. Glad you liked it so much!

Not yet. It's intended to be something that becomes usable later on after a specific side quest. (One that's not in the game yet.) After that it will have some unique interactions with specific items, probably like the one you're thinking of.

By checking the sparkly spot by the river you should get an item called "Note - Flooded Path." Show that to Bunyan, then exit and re-enter her zone and talk to her again. That should start the sequence.

I'm not sure exactly, I'm not familiar with Joiplay. And in general I'm not going to be looking at mobile ports/options until the game is fully finished.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad somebody saw the eyes lol, they actually pop up in a few places.

I'll make note of the easy difficulty thing, and the bug with Bunyan's scene. For the next update I'll look into adding some more variance to the different difficult modes. Enemies with lower HP or stats on lower difficulty modes or something like that.

Yep, her 3rd h-scene is accessed in a different way rather than just weapon upgrades. She should have 2 new options in her "talk" menu after her 2nd scene. After both of those the journal entry for Bunyan should update with a hint as to how to proceed in her quest.
If you'd like more specifics, there's a "hints" text file in the game folder that will have more details on how to get all the H-scenes.

Gotcha, I'll look into that and do some more testing/balancing for the weapons for next time.

The glossary section of the journal includes a section for all the game's status effects.
