What a great, well-polished game! It looked fantastic(!) and the music fit the game perfectly. I don't know if there was some kind of melee/push functionality but I found myself desperately clicking the mouse-button I would normally bind to that when the zombies got too close. Great game!

Thank you for that great feedback! :)

Thank you - much appreciated!

I have never looked so much at the background of a game - the notebook background was a clever idea! The controls were a bit clunky - I can understand why you used the GMTK keys but being a bad typist, I would have preferred keys placed next to each other for convenience/laziness.

I like the gameplay (not an easy game though!) but the the music! The music is fantastic!

What a clever idea! I felt very dumb at first, not understanding what to do, and then - "Ahhh!". Well done!

Picking up a green block first allows you to make yourself taller (using the up key), and then you can break through it. Thank you for playing the game!

I enjoyed this quite a lot! Being very bad at it, I failed and had to restart several times - was there a quick restart short-command? If not, that would be nice. I'm still humming the music while typing this....great job!

The animations! The animations are fantastic - I will never accept a boring idle animation again after having played this.  I was very bad at it but I had fun. Great game.

Thank you :D

Thank you! Yes, I ended up spending my time on creating and then fixing dumb bugs instead of something useful like level design.

(1 edit)

Those are some annoyingly well-thought-out comments - thank you! You made me want to continue tinkering with this after the jam...

>It was not entirely clear why I should bother grabbing the red blocks to begin with. I then realized that getting enough of them would extend your reach. But then why, because getting more just extends it further? Maybe this was intend to be fleshed out with more levels?

Yes, that mechanic never really got into play.

Thank you! :)

Oo - that's great to hear. Yes, I very clearly ran out of time - procedurally generated levels was the plan.

Thank you - very glad to hear it!

"Can I do it under a minute?" No, I very clearly suck at this with my less than stellar 02:13.94.

What a clever game mechanic. Once I got passed the initial dizziness, I found myself really enjoying it. I managed to get very, very stuck at a single place on both attempts - once you have failed a jump with a large wall ahead of you, getting out of that is tricky.

And the music fit the game perfectly.

I enjoyed this quite a lot - well done!

Possible improvements: The camera movement was a bit yanky when switching direction and the jump controls could be tweaked a bit.

Such a relaxing experience - I really enjoyed this. Very well executed.

This is SO well executed. It looks and feels fantastic. The audio was just perfect in a minimalistic way. Aaaand, seeing a smile on the local geometrist made my day.

Coming from the composer (etc) of the great "Built For It" music, that warms my heart. Thank you!

Glad to hear it! :)

First, the music! LOVE IT!

Once I managed to actually start the game (I tried clicking the Play button, screaming at it, as well as looking at it really hard...), I found an awesome game. Very easy to get into and oozing charm. Using the main game mechanic to operate the menus was brilliant.  I feel very bad for the robot though. I hope he can be repaired from that....unfortunate fall.
