sorry this came out wrong, I was running out of time, and couldn't communicate my point well.
I actually tried your games several days ago, i tried it several times, first time I got frustrated on the very first level and quit, second time i was able to get to level two and on my 3rd attempt I got to level 4
(It was very smart move to adapt it for mobile otherwise I wouldn't have be able to give it so many tries)
So what i was saying is that you got to start smaller and simpler. smaller room. Give player a few easy wins, and than slowly let it get comfortable with the mechanic and the quirks
The angle was also very disorienting and adding to difficulty.
Your game reminded me of Stephen's Sausage Roll (you should really look at it, a lot of things to take from that game)
But I do not mean that all of this should've been implemented during game jam, making perfect difficulty curve during game jam is almost impossible, and you did great job, it's a great game. And I think you can make it into something even greater.

Hey, I checked your game will be happy if you give me a shot whenever you can.
I'm kinda in similar situation, having somewhat cryptic game with people getting stuck and quitting without ever finishing. Well i hope you will give me a proper chance. I have detailed hints in description and the whole game is around 15 min for both endings (including reading the description)
I did finish your game properly till the end (yeetman and yard and all)
Very cool game, as i understand all or most of 3d models and textures and that very cool and big endeavour.
I finished the game but it felt like i had to cheese some parts.
specifically with dragon boss, he was just blocking the way, and i couldnt kill him, didnt know if i ever did damage him. ('cause there's no feedback)
lack of sounds really took away from experience, especially with dragon fight, i did not even knew if my hits connect.
I kept wandering what was growing in the sky
the text popping on every grave break and not pausing always guarantees damage, so i couldn't have used spruites as heal. Consider changing process on text canvas pausing the game (process when paused) so when game is paused canvas objects are active.
the ending felt a bit anticlimactic
this is not to say i did not liked your game there are just things to improve
It was a nice complete experience with interesting ideas.
This was very cute and fun game. I loved it.
There was just right amount of puzzles and it wasn't to hard, can't understand how someone can get stuck.
Maybe there was just a bit too much text in game, at least for my taste. But I don't see that as con, that's just my taste. It did set the mood.
And the ending was very funny I loved that you did not end at open door and added backyard and locked about more content.
It was a great mix of mystery, humour and exploration to bad people are not giving you a proper playtrough
Overall I think this was one of the best games I played so far.
Very cool game, big potential, i'm a fan of deck builders, (MTG, Heartstone, gwynt) nice to see deck builders in a game jam, not an easy task to do one in short time.
1st run went in blind, I figured out that plants produce candy, cost energy, bell ends turn, 4 rounds to meet candy quota, and grid placement doesn't matter. Got to night 4.
So I couldn't understand how candy is generated, what nbr, aura, flip, trick and treat means. Neither description nor comment section had any answers.
I went for 2 more rounds but could not figure this things out and couldn't get past night 4
So the number C is candy per night? But what about L end candy? Where is it written how much you get?
I understand you had no time to make tutorial, no one had. But would've been nice if you add more detailed description post jam. I was down for reading, I really wanted to explore this game fully.
Since the grid is underutilized I would recommend to either get rid of it or add some grid effects to veggies, so they can affect neighbors or affected by neighbours, this will add a lot of depth.
The art and vegetable types and names are very cute and intro suits theme well.
I hope you will continue this game, it was very cool.
short and cool.
it was a bit to easy though, on the first round i even got a bit spooked, because i panicked and did not know what to do. but i got trough and got to the end
than i wondered, what happens when you lose, and spoilers..
.
.
nothing, this was a bit anticlimactic
there also was a big disconnect between game and poster, posters sets the mood, and then the actual game graphic ruins it. i mean looking at your other game, i guess that's your style, but there the game matched poster mood and colors. i think you could at very least change the overall pallet to make it darker, more ominous.
P.S. really liked your previous game. it seems we were in that jam together as well.
back to topic, its a great game.
its well put together little game with story, complete and polished
the art style is amazing
gameplay is solid, there are no bugs objective is clear and overall experience is nice but
this maze feels too hard and random
1st playthrough: got tv, some crosses, heard monster coming, got cornered used tv, found another tv and cross, got cornered again, and than again and that's game over
2nd playthrough: decided to find all tvs first, after several minutes found only 2, once i got stuck between to closed walls, you really should check if player can always reach main room before closing walls, or at least some items.
so i wish there would be a way to understand where in a maze i am, like some notable points, some distinct decorations.
I will certainly give it more playthroughs later
Wow, so much polish is amazing
The style, the animations and overall aesthetic is top notch.
The only thing that was lacking is the strategy, it's basically a cartoon, just click anything and watch one of 6 clips play. it would be nice if you would add some strategy, in your inspiration buckshot roulette there are items that help you nudge the ods, there is secret information and ways to predict it with some certainty.
It was really fun to play it, hope you will expand on this game
Overall I am amazed what people can achieve in such short time.
very cool concept. i loved the idea of monster disappearing in light (like did i just imagined it in darkness type of thing) very cool premise but it needs some work to be a proper game.
I did 3 playthroughs
1. I played around with light turned it off, went to the source of sound, and saw the zombie, i just let it walk to me wandered how will it end, will there be any jump scare or not, i liked there was no jumpscare, they are cheap.
2. i explored the house some more, tons of batteries, cool, but the only source of light tv that goes trough rooms felt off. the zombie was just standing there walked around it and nothing happened until i touched it.
3. i decided to restart the whole game, and play the way i suppose to. found zombie and ran from it, turned on light and it disappeared, but still kept walking and touched and killed me, so turning light on make enemy worse, still active and also invisible.
I think you should add some more lights, maybe change reason to turn off light. maybe breaker constantly malfunctioning and lights go out? and then you should fix breaker but also have flashlight that needs battery?
and maybe make enemy stop when in light? and also teleport it occasionally?
This is great game concept, it be cool if you keep working on it.
sorry my comment came out wrong, I did meant it that way, i was just frustrated with my self and it all kinda leaked in comment, it wasn't about you, or your feedback, i appreciated your feedback and i said you were right. and its not about stars, please no need to give me more stars than i deserve. Its about people ignoring parts of game i poured my time in. but i know its deserved. Its like when you talk to someone and than see they don't listen, and you start questioning the situation and yourself, is it the wrong audience or something wrong with what you are saying. ever happened to you?
this was very cool, looks like a high quality finished game,
everything went smoothly until level 3, jumping extra high on cars was hard, took me several minutes to get all candy. as i understand the logic is this, if player on car accelerate up if jump also pressed accelerate more. so jump must be timed frame perfect with landing on car, real hard. you should consider using jump buffer, if player press jump and in air, remember that press and countdown, if player haven't touched ground within x seconds clean buffer, but if yes act like player just pressed jump. this should make big jump much easier, and how much easier can be determined by the time x.
level 4 wasn't passable at all unfortunately (the one with 2 camera switches) there seems to be a collider in the middle of the road, and no portal in vicinity. so i could not progress, any suggestions? i really tried for several minutes for way around. there are 2 tall buildings but couldnt make the jump. got stuck and geometry and had to restart and go trough all levels (the level sweetching doesnt properly work and resume start round 1
the camera switching was a very fun mechanic.
bonus points for music, so what if its ai it certainly makes atmosphere twice as good
amazing what you was able to achieve in the time of jam solo
this was VERY cool game, i had tons of fun, it was short but every moment was entertaining
I can't say it felt like a complete game though, more like a sequence of cool things, but i mean better a sequence of cool things than a boring game. or maybe i'm missing something, once you finish the 3rd level and sneak is outside, that's the end of the game? or i missed something? there was just no endgame screen or something.
Overall this was awesome. Great job.
this is very awesome, thank you, i really appreciate your time and attention, i wasn't sure 42 is possible, btw i think you forgot to submit your review on the game page, if this message IS your review, thats ok, but i would like to contact you, i think you are the only person who got all endings, and enjoyed it so much. If im gonna continue this game i should not cut anything that people liked, and i thinkg you are the only person who liked it that much, anyway to contact you? only want 5 min of your time.
dude, you reviewed me a second time :D ill give your game a second go, maybe i'll finally be able to do something about that damn radio. and get second ending (btw i also have 2 major endings (and 2 minors))
regarding your review, yes all are valid points, but i just could not find the pace, could not find the fun in my concept.
regarding voiceover. WHY? TT____TT why no one can hear my terrible voiceover, yes I'm no VA, yes i did to much distortion fx, yes it very quite, but it should've been audible, have you heard other sound?
thank you, well there is clock on the wall, but it is never stated how it works, it start at 3:15 and work day is over at 5:15, every in game hour is 1 minute (so workday is just 2 min because there is not much to do in game right now)
but what do you mean " the report screen just kept vanishing for me" ?? you were accidentally clicking one of the report buttons when it suddenly appeared before you?
first of all thank you for your time, kindness and honesty
yeah you got the feeling I was going for that makes me happy
but what do you mean "having a sound for when that voice was talking to you" ? i voiced over all the lines, maybe it was to quite and people did not hear it compared to other sounds.
"you just die of a heart attack at the end" - there is a hint in game how to avoid it, and i also added detailed explanation in game description, there are basically 4 endings: "you get fired", "you get heart attack", "you get to asylum", "you keep you job, and decide its a good job"
I personally play other peoples games for half an hour or more, and read descriptions carefully to not skip anything people put their hard work in. And to see that for people a 1 min read and 2x6 min game (both major endings) is too much, is honestly disheartening. I guess my game is THAT boring. I mean i get where the people are coming from, when i was testing my game, the 2 min day felt like half an hour. And games should hook the player, make player WANT to spend more time and explore all secrets, not bore them out of their minds, and failed to do that, that really is on me, I really tried honestly, i just couldn't make it fun.
This wasn't a dis or rant, just some of my thoughts, anyway thank you, for pointing out my flaws and sharing your experience. I believe reviews should be like this, honest and detailed.
great game idea and decent implementation.
When i was reading description i got really excited to play, i couldn't believe you did such a big game for this jam. well, as other mentioned there are bugs, i mostly had the same bugs as other players, sped up treat game and freeze. stat eating more candy then it supposed too, monsters getting stuck and not moving, i tried dumping candy in obedience but it feels like it chagnes nothing, (and you also left a note that it changes nothing) and only pumpking is assignable.
well i still had my fun, no bug can stand between me and having fun with a game, on my 3rd run, i was able to get pumpking charisma to max, and the guy became nonstop profit, i also learn trick to unstuck him, just assign him different task and then assign him back to trick or treating. but no luck with other monsters.
averall this still was great and fun game. And the scope of this game is pretty big, what you achieved already is amazing as it is. Great job, i really want to play a full polished game, would be great.
I really enjoyed it,
it was fun and well made
few things that was lacking, sfx would really complete this game
the mimics are a bit to jumpy i had to measure distance very carefully to survive the mimic, most of the time i died, each level took more than 10 tries (maybe closer to 20)
in second and third level i really expected to get some environmental kill and get rid of some of the mimics, but the tractor just went trough them.
also i found a bug in level 3, the spikes just moved me up, and i couldn't do anything, couldn't even die, at some point i got high enough to fly over gate and trigger next scene, but door got stuck guess i needed key, so restart button can be great addition.
overall this was awesome, suited theme and the crt effect was lovely gave it extra charm.
Thanks, apreaciate it mate
yeah i just had base idea of sorting cursed TV, but than got confused about what the main mechanic and drive had to be, sorting was just boring. so hearrate came, did everything the last moment had no time to properly balance an explain, so i guess i just will repeat what i told bat754
heart attack, yeah, i needed to make it more obvious i thought of adding number of BPM but than thought it would break immersion. emersion my @ss if the game is unplayable >.< so, here is the jist of it: base bpm 80, each time static appear +30bpm, each second -5bpm, static will start appearing after you grab the tv, so you can listen to voice and "dont pick it up".
You really should try day 3 again, the 6 min wait (each day is 2 min) is worth the grand finale of cursed ending.
Short and enjoyable, cool little game.
I loved that at every corner there was a little spook. great work, they were diverse and timed well. although very short it was pack tight with content. just extra points for not making game needlessly long.
the whole time i was wondering where is the theme, than the ending came. ABSOLUTE CINEMA.
thanks, i really appreciate your time
well yeah, using rigid bodies was weird decision on my part, but once all the bugs and obviousness of my mistakes started surfacing it was too late and i had other things on my plate.
you guess absolutely right, when player holds tv all physics is paused, and when it put back on conveyor physics resumed, and even though i zero out the velocity some jank remain. but as i said too much on my plate and i also decided this jank was kinda fun.

This was very cool incremental/auto clicker thing,
I only wished i would've read description before playing, i got secret ending "Out of memory game crash before the finale" :D it took me more than half an hour to reach it.
intro was very cool and transition to the actual gameplay got me surprised :D
tbh, i did not quite understand few things even while almost reaching finale,
what are purple specs?
gold specs?
I get why i must zap skeleton, but why must i zap bat?
and why timer started increasing at some point?
how does charge system work?
apart from this question and my overall confusion and the web crash, this was very fun experience
great game
This was too good and adictive for gamejam game. 2 of this 3 can just be separate game jam entries (you know which ones :P )
overall i loved the idea and aesthetic it reminded me all the hours i wasted in gta san andreas arcades.
it lacked crt filter though, that would have made it complete
space shooter, was hard at first but than i rediscovered all nes time technique of double tapping button with 2 fingers, so i unlocked 10 rounds burst shot that obliterates anything in second. overall it was great but i couldnt reach past wave 7, still hard for me, and blue enemies feel unfair with their tracking bullet. if they shoot sideways there is no way to avoid.
flappy bee be just bee. or i missed something?
and miner was also very fun and addictive, every time i saw another ore i got excited to go deeper. and when i saw gold block but couldn't mine it, i knew that i must reach it. although once i dug it out, and got all upgrades, i got bored and did not got past 144m (is there anything more to explore)? upgrade system felt weird, each damage upgrade added nothing, all ores just broke in 2 strikes, except for lat upgrade which made them brake to one.
Overall this was very fun, i had ton of fun
I will not be able to rate anymore
Unfortunately something urgent came up, so this weekend will be busy, I will complete rating and meaningfully reviewing everyone who posted here so far. (25/10/2025 12:20 GMT).
