Hi, I'm glad you are enjoying the game :)
55 is default level cap. You can increase it: in Path -> Sow Seeds add points to Wisdom Level Cap and Rebirth.
Another way to increase it is through the "Tier" Milestone, no Rebirth needed.
You can check you level cap in the Qualities -> Extra panel, "Wisdom Level Cap".
Let me know if anything requires further clarification :)
I think AI generation disclosure can be improved:
+ Currently any AI code or text output falls into AI generation disclosure. But today using AI for code or text checks is a standard.
+ The problem is: games that use AI art is currently marked the same way as games that use AI for reasons above.
+ I got the feedback that this is misleading. Players want to know (in most cases) if the art is AI generated or not.
Suggestion:
+ Remove code and text from AI generation disclosure or put it into a separate category.
Thanks you.
Thanks for the feedback.
I investigated the freeze and to my best understanding it is related to "browser throttling mechanism" that aims to preserve resources. As you mentioned, reloading fixes this, and there is no progress loss as the game will auto calculate freeze time as offline.
In the non-web version running for days memory usage remains unchanged. So Steam release won't freeze.
I've just looked into "Recent" itch.io games: there are many games published and discoverable within the last out, including web-only.
My game was published 5 days ago still remains invisible.
There is definitely a lack of transparency and misguiding communication involved.
What can I do to resolve the situation?
It's been 4 days since the full game released, averaging about 1000 plays per day. The game still isn't visible anywhere, including the search.
It's my only public game shown on the profile, it meets all the required itch.io criteria.
As far as I know, according to my previous experience, this issue will not get resolved by itself.
Would you look into it, please?
I also checked every point of the "quality guidelines." you provided and I can confirm that my full release game meets every requirement.
Thank you for the response.
My game is played in the browser, it's intentionally not downloadable.
The demo isn't discoverable (prohibited in public settings), I have only the full release which I'd like to be discoverable.
Unfortunately, this "only 2 days rule" isn't working as I tested with previous builds. At one point I had the demo, and only it, publicly available (also web-build) for months and it never appeared anywhere on itch.io.
Itch is a great place for indie devs, I'm very grateful to people standing behind this project.
I'd happily subscribe to it or support it with a onetime donation, but there is no such an option.
Unfortunately, current algorithms silently shadowing older accounts making free games. Despite having thousands of players, my games are not discoverable on the site, including the search. The support is silent.
I believe there is great potential for improvement here.
I've just released my game: https://fourda.itch.io/four-divine-abidings-full
Despite hundreds of plays in first hours, the game isn't visible anywhere on itch.io, even in the search.
My public settings are not prohibiting.
Please, assist.

I’m actually enjoying a 3rd playthrough of the game myself : )
There is an optional donation button; 100% of proceeds are set to go directly to itch.io. This is an amazing, free platform for indie game developers. 100% of donations on Steam will go to godotengine.org - an engine where the game was crafted, free and open source.
