This game is a bop! Love the very literal idea of role reversal here, and all things considered it's pretty well executed! Maybe there could be a hint menu you can toggle that shows the outlines of different coloured blocks to help with the puzzle aspect? Overall though,  really solid, I enjoyed myself!

Nice idea, was thinking of doing something like this! Also, nice particle effects!

Music slaps, visuals are awesome,  game is amazing, scary.png was way too scary though

This game is so fleshed out, with such an amazing concept at its core! The gameplay loop is absolutely perfect, and this is the most flawless execution I've seen of this idea. Can't give it anything less than 3 x 5 Stars, 11/10!

Really cool concept, I enjoyed myself playing this! I feel like there should have been a little more sensitivity, because as time went on it became very difficult to get any new behaviour from the ball once it had been fired in every direction

Overall though, cool game :)

Really creative concept, and a really good execution! I loved everything about this game, great job!

This is one of the better executed "You're the PC" games, and love the Terraria bunnies lol

Really nice game, fun to play :)

Cool game and really nice music! Got Jurassic Frogged so many times

There’s actually camera controls, so you can move around! We’ll update the description to make it more obvious, you’re not the first who’s missed it. But thanks for the review, glad you like our game!

This is quite fun, playing as the Kaiju feels fluid, though it felt like it was difficult to avoid being hurt (maybe I'm just bad tho lol), but art and sound design are great! I think a You Died screen could help manage the transition and maybe some sounds to indicate the player being hurt as well, but apart from that, nice game!

Amazing visuals and music, and the concept is very clever, every upgrade making you want to die inside! Awesome game though, great job!

Absolutely stunning graphics, visuals, music and sound design! Game plays quite well, though I definitely did not lose very quickly every time 😝

Nice music and great replay value to get all the different endings!

Wow this was very fun! The art and music were on point, and the gameplay was quite entertaining as well. Great job!

Good point

So nice taking a bribe when he's gonna win anyway, even if it does fill what I'm guessing is the 'sus' meter.

I lost Timmy so many times I should be banned from parenthood

Nice game, really nice art, great feel to it overall, though I am bad at not being sniped by fishing poles when I'm not casually losing my kids to child protective services

This game is actually terrifying, why did you create such a scary game bro

(It's also fun trying not to die and casually cursing fellow grass-eating humans, nice job)

For a game made in 48 hours this is extremely impressive and was a BLAST to play! The procedurally generated puzzles and the visuals and transitions really BLEW ME AWAY! Only criticism is that you can tell when the music loops, but honestly that's such a minor issue and only a musician would really pick up on it. This game was, all puns aside, absolutely amazing and I'd love to see this transformed into a mobile game or something similar!

Puzzle concept is interesting but definitely could use some polishing. Some good music would go a long way too. Still an interesting idea though, and I liked the different challenges posed by swapping out items for different purposes between yourself and the hero.

This is actually a very good execution of a concept I didn't think would work well. There's just enough problem solving to make this game enjoyable while still being in keeping with the core theme. Also, the music and visuals... absolutely amazing! Overall, awesome job!

Wow, this game is awesome, especially the music and art! Really fun to play, though I clearly suck because I kept landing in the fishermen's boats! Really enjoyed myself as frustrating as it was, great job, game feels really fluid!

This definitely feels like a passion project, so glad the theme allowed you to express your passion for moths! Gameplay was pretty cool, though I will say the moths feel quite janky, and maybe there should be a bit more challenge in that they might slowly fly away if you drop them into frame too early, and you have to try and get them back in. That said, for 48 hours this is still really good, and that stuff is more for further development. Also, really like the art! Overall, great job!

This was actually surprisingly fun! Can perfectly empathies with the Gacha victims but at the same time making them wait 8 rolls for a legendary and then giving them another duplicate of the one they had is so evil it's fun! Quite polished and very good art!

A fun little experience! Nice interpretation of the theme!

This game is above and beyond anything else I've seen so far. The graphics, the art style, the gameplay, the vibe, everything is absolutely perfect! So incredibly fun and addictive, with some decent skill involved while never feeling unfair. You've created an absolute masterpiece, and this definitely deserves to be in the top 100. Amazing!

(1 edit)

This is unironically such a game!

Thank you for taking the time to make this, I left a comment under the video with all my thoughts but I’ll say again that your review and playthrough is very much appreciated!

This is really fun to play! The music is great, and the varied combat between close up punch and long range shooting works really well. The art is very stylized and feels fresh and fun, and the sound design is great too!

The simple premise and objective works well here, but I think this would be even cooler with more of a story. Regardless, it's amazing what you achieved in so little time, and I'd love to see what happens if you choose to work more on it!

Hey, thanks for reviewing our game! The feedback is appreciated, and we are working on expanding the orb combat mechanic for the next release.

As regards to the enemies, we do feel that the rats are more difficult to fight than was intended, and have come up with ideas to improve the combat and tweak the difficulty. What you said about a hit flash is interesting, I think that might be a cool thing to implement and would help to let the player know when an orb has connected. Tweaks to the sound design might also help with this.
And don’t worry, we plan to have many more levels and much more content in our next releases, this is more of a demo at this point than anything.

Again, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, it really means a lot to us!

Truly one of the games of all time!!
