I appreciate the feedback! I think I mentioned this in one of my other comments, but yeah, the game itself isn't what I intended it to be: an easy to pick up hard to master score rush type game - maybe that's because I didn't playtest it with other people and as the developer I got used to the controls, maybe I could have just slowed the game down a bit and it would have been easier and more fun, I'm not sure. I think that making the player a stationary (or at the very least not bouncy) sentry might have been a fun spin, but I'll have to experiment more to figure out what works best. Also, regarding the art, I get that it's a little in-your-face and bright, but that was kind of the style I was going for. Since the game is so weird and outlandish, I thought a bit more of a brash visual style complemented the game-play well, but I agree that toning it down, especially with the UI, might be a good idea. Anyways, thanks for checking out the game! I really appreciate it!
PS: The green/blue/purple item was supposed to be a bunch of 2-litre bottles. It didn't come out quite as I envisioned it haha.

Thanks for taking the time to checking it out!

Fun:
I thought this game was a pretty solid puzzler. There were a couple puzzles that were super frustrating and that I feel could have been saved for later in the progression, and I ended up getting hung up and quitting on puzzle #16 (I think?). Overall, most of the puzzles were fun little self-contained challenges that were tricky, fair (mostly), and rewarding to solve.

Innovation:
Tile puzzlers have been around for a while, but with the poetic rules and interesting tile adjacency laws it wasn't completely dry of unique ideas.

Theme:
I see the inspiration - the puzzle can only be solved when each tile is next to the correct combination of other tiles - but I think in practice, the connection to the theme is a little hard to decipher. Overall, a pretty solid interpretation of the theme though, if a little cryptic. Then again, that might be what you're going for.

Graphics:
It's an OSG game. Do I really need to say more?

Mood:
Remember when I said that the theme's interpretation was a little cryptic and the rules were poetic? It's because I think they're helping to build out the mood of the game. The ambience noises, the background art, the temple setting, the sound design and voice clips... It all contributed to a wonderful and engaging atmosphere that really drew me in. Awesome job with this.

Audio:
I already mentioned this briefly, but the light background drone, haunting ancient music, voice clips, the contrasting airy whooshes and more grounded scraping sounds - they all complement each other very well.

Humor:
There wasn't much humor in this game - it felt to me it was more a more grounded, serious puzzler.

Overall Verdict:
This was a solid puzzler with a couple frustrating moments and delicious atmosphere. I would buy this on Steam if it was fleshed out a bit and the difficulty progression was a bit more linear. Good job!

Haha, that's awesome! That's exactly the reaction I was going for when I was trying to design the core loop. Regarding the music, I probably should've taken the time to go through and at least try, but I was running out of time and motivation, so I sadly had to leave it musicless for now. Thanks for checking out the game, and I appreciate the feedback!

I totally get your issues with the controls. Being the dev, I did have a lot of time to get used to them, but having some extra playtesting probably would have done wonders. If you're willing to give it another shot, consider throwing items you don't want at the ceiling - they'll come back down after a short delay. Thanks for the feedback and for checking out the game!

Thanks for the feedback! I totally get the issues with the theme and the score screen (I may have totally forgotten that people like to share their scores and that the score screen should fade out after a delay, haha). My initial was that if I could find a funny way to join together the idea of combining objects with an absurd scenario then I'd just roll with it, but yeah, the theming did come out a little half-baked - a cutscene or some funny slideshow giving background probably would have helped. Thanks again for checking out the game!

So accurate it's uncanny

Hey, I think they've run out again. I don't even have the option to claim a steam key at all... Weird!

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the in-depth feedback!

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback!

The friction values need tuning, but other than that, phenomenal work!

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks?

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This game is a lot of fun! You could literally just add a little more polish, levels, and perhaps achievements and create a solid steam release (if you wanted to). Nice job guys!

Thanks for the feedback! Making that sound effect was a lot of fun - I got to learn how to bitcrunch my own voice.

Needs a few balancing tweaks, as you can beat the later levels without using all of the moves, but other than that, great work!

Thanks for the feedback!

WOAH! I wasn't joking when I said that you might win this whole jam. Nice job!

This is a fun, short reaction game with a slick sense of style. Lovely! One bit of advice, the intro text writing noises and music are a bit annoying, but other than that, great work!

Fun little game! The mechanics lend to some interesting puzzle platforming challenges, and the art adds a lot to the charm. Well done!

Thanks for your feedback! I didn't have a lot of time for balancing, and I recognize that the game isn't exceptional in later rounds.

why does it always come back to crate succ

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad people enjoyed the mechanic, I was a bit worried that the randomness would turn people away haha!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
