Thanks. I will just post them here then.
Separate pages: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1up-Ar-GGPWWaPY-GFYREufL6bWjhnA2E/view?usp=shari...
Booklet, every even page is the back side of every odd page: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S3WczxzywvKL8pq4TvMr3xxoEGSAjq13/view?usp=shari...
For the booklet, on most home printers
1. you print the odd pages first
2. then you flip the stack (or not) so that the back side of the last printed page is on top
3. and put the stack back into the printer (also be careful about page orientation)
3. then you print the even pages in REVERSE.
I always get confused on which side of the paper gets printed and in which orientation.
I love everything about this. The concept is fun. Presentation is cute. The mystery has the right difficulty for me. The snakes also had distinct personalities, despite it only being a 1000 words.
Also, I just adore the snake-font with the tiny little eyes!
Did you make this font, or is it available from a 3rd party?
Nice job! I really enjoyed the intuition/memorization mechanics. It's really something I didn't see (or in this case hear) before.
You had a tough job. If you make the music too obvious it is too easy. If you make it subtle it becomes very subjective. Apparently you chose the latter, which was the right choice for this game. Guessing and memorizing is fun.
Nice idea. Kind of like the premise of Ace attorney, taken to it's logical extreme.
Some of the texts were hilarious, although I'm not sure if there were any correlations between them.
I managed to get over 10 points by spamming either button though. :D
Presentation was clear and enhanced the theme of the game.
I kind of see the concept, but I just can't figure out what the laws of motion are in this game. I guess moving to different-looking tiles will affect the enemies differently. I somehow managed to brute-force my way trough them.
The level progression was nice.
The animations were juicy, if they also had some accompanying sound effects, I'm sure I would have rated Fun much higher.
(Unless there is actually sound, and the silence was just some bug caused by running the game with wine under Linux.)
Yes, the Linux build works. I had fun. Controls are nice and snappy. Gameplay was easy to understand. My main issue was that the player character is so fast I regularly overshoot the ball. A high-score board with a timer or number of kicks could be a nice post-jam addition. I see you have used Godot. It's exports are really solid. There is also a HTML exporter, if you want to try it next time. Having a HTML version is usually good for getting more people to check out your game, being that it doesn't need to be downloaded.
