I already had high expectations from your 118 submission but I was still surprised by this one. You made it very interesting trying to pick up on different sound cues and it was misleading or sometimes rewarding judging based on the little face you saw as well.
Very interesting and fun game and concept, really well done!
Nice job! I really enjoyed the intuition/memorization mechanics. It's really something I didn't see (or in this case hear) before.
You had a tough job. If you make the music too obvious it is too easy. If you make it subtle it becomes very subjective. Apparently you chose the latter, which was the right choice for this game. Guessing and memorizing is fun.
Good Job! And the fact it was made in pico 8 is even more amazing!
So nice to see an original concept! We couldn't quite identify what was different for some reason...
Wow, am I bad at decyphering good/evil by music! I thought this would be a cakewalk, but I'm glad it wasn't! Fun game, simple and easy to pick up. Great job!
Very good sound and visual design!
I loved your last submission and the idea of this one is really original, well done ! That might have been fun to work on the music, I really like them, some sounds really "guilty" but aren't and that pushes you to remember the theme of the suspect instead of just the feeling you have. That raises some interesting game design questions related to music, so that's once more a cool game !
Thank you! It’s always fun trying out new ideas, and it’s very interesting what time pressure can do to help creativity. Since I started a few hours before the jam ended, I couldn’t do the other idea I had which was way bigger so I thought, “what’s an interesting idea that I code in this short time,” and this idea was born! That’s what I’ve been loving about this jam, not trying to make perfect games but just having fun and testing new ideas and seeing what people think :)
Thank you! Wasn't able to get it as "polished" as my previous games and definitely great rooms for improvement but it was really fun to design!
