Thanks for playing! Yeah, there is also a crossbow weapon that you unlock after killing a few enemies in the second arena room with the hole in the floor. If you jump straight into the hole then you can miss it. I probably should have made it easier to find because multiple people couldn't find it lol. Thanks again for playing and the feedback!

Thank you for playing, I appreciate the feedback and I'm sorry it didn't run well on your computer. UE5 is incredibly bloated so there's not much I can do about it unfortunately, I disabled lumen and some other features but UE5 just requires a pretty decent PC even without those I guess. For the crossbow aiming, I understand what you mean, some players who are new to the movement fps genre found it hard to aim, so in the future I might add an accessibility option to reduce the movement speed or something. As for the knife swings, I agree that the range is pretty low, I will change that in the future. Thanks again for playing and I appreciate the feedback!
Great job! I really enjoyed traversing through multiple games, definitely one of the coolest games I've played for the jam! The only issue I had was probably my fault, but I went through the 2d block game, and I got the key. After I exited, the key on the shelf was gone, and I tried to go unlock the door, however the door still gave me the message that the key was still in the room somewhere. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if it was a bug, just thought I should let you know. Other than that, I loved it, nice work!
Awesome game! I really love the art style, and it's cool to see another person who uses Unreal Engine lol. The fourth wall breaks and other jokes were hilarious and I really liked the overall insane vibe of the game. The camera shakes were a bit disorienting, and the fov felt a bit too zoomed in, but overall I really loved it! Really good job!
Nice job on this, I think the abilities are very cool and the art is solid. I feel like the overall game should maybe be zoomed in a bit, because the enemies and player seem somewhat small, but this might just be because I'm playing on a kinda small screen. Great job in general though, I enjoyed it!
Really cute little game! At first I didn't know what I was doing but I got the hang of it after like 30 seconds. I think I got to level 12, and I was going super tryhard at that point lol. I love orcas so this was really fun to see. I liked the unique gameplay as well, I didn't know adding numbers together with a time limit could be so fun. Great job overall! Definitely one of my favorite games I've seen so far this jam.
Nice job! I think the rapid fire gun is really fun to play with, and the audio feedback is also great. My only feedback is that the camera moving along with the mouse is a bit disorienting, and I didn't see a way to disable this in the menus (I might have just missed it though, so sorry if I did). Overall it was really fun to play however, great job!
Nice job! I really like the art style and the audio also fits really well! The voice acting was good and I also enjoyed the screen shake when shooting, it adds a lot to the overall impact of the weapons. I might have just been doing it wrong but it would be cool to be able to run over zombies in vehicles, currently it seems like it just pushes them around instead of running over them. This is really minor though, and overall this game was very good, congrats on making a fire game!
Thanks for playing! I understand what you mean about the medkits being small, I'll for sure make them larger in the future. For the movement, it's definitely not the easiest thing to get the hang of, but it feels really good once you do :)
I could make some accessibility options in the future to help players who are new to the movement FPS genre. For example, maybe I could have an option that makes the player and enemies slower or something like that. Thanks again for the comment and feedback!
Oh that sucks, I'm sorry. What resolution is your monitor? I had a few reports about monitor resolutions not switching when in windowed full screen mode. For example if someone switched from 1440p to 1080p on their 1440p monitor, it would say it switched but still be running at 1440p. Also, make sure you're playing on low settings, you can change this in the main menu options menu. I tried to optimize it to run as well as possible, but UE5 is quite heavy by itself, so it requires a pretty solid PC to run. Also, if you don't mind, what are your specs?
Thanks for the comment, I also found the bow easier to use for a lot of the game. I was trying to go for a risk/reward thing where it's more risky to use the knife, but has a higher possible damage output. I think I need to work on this a bit more though because it didn't really turn out this way lol. Thanks again for playing, I really appreciate it! And great job on your game too!
Thanks for the review! I definitely have heard feedback about the input buffer system, and I'll definitely change that if I continue working on this game. The crossbow can be missed if you fall into the big hole in the floor in the second arena, otherwise it should be revealed after killing the first wave of enemies in that room. For the sliding, I think it depends on who's playing, my friend really liked sliding around everywhere but for some it might be easy to forget that it exists lol. Thanks for the feedback and kind words, I really appreciate it! Also great job on your game as well!
Nice game, I really like the music and pixel art, I think the training dummy sequence at the start was very clever as an introduction! The movement feels smooth and fluid as well. I think the only minor feedback I have is to let the dialogue be skippable a bit faster, like maybe if they spammed space or some key during the dialogue, it would skip through it. This is a very minor issue though and not very important in the overall game. Good job, I really enjoyed it!
Hey, really nice job, I think this game is super fun and has a lot of potential if you ever want to continue with it in the future! The music is catchy and fits with the retro theme of the game very well, and the pixel art is great. It got pretty difficult at a certain point but that kind of fits the theme of retro platformers like this I think. Overall, you made a great game and I'd love to see it continued!
Nice job! I think the graphics and art style are amazing, and the crawling along with the hand is a cool mechanic. Also, the ending freaked me out because I was playing in a dark room at midnight lmao. I think some more gameplay mechanics would have really helped the overall fun factor of the game, but I think it was definitely creepy. This for sure solidified my fear of caving, good game!
Hey, nice game! I really like the graphics and pixel art, and smashing enemies with the boulder is really satisfying. As for improvements, I feel like the boulder physics can be somewhat jank, and I think it would be cool if the boulder could tilt and fall over if it's like halfways off a ledge, because right now it needs to be entirely off before it falls down. This game definitely has a lot of potential, and I'd love to see it continued, great job!
Good job, I really liked seeing another fps game in this jam lol. I think the enemies are satisfying to mow down with the laser rifle (that sounds kinda sadistic but you get the idea lmao). I think a bit of gun movement for the recoil would have added a lot to the overall feel of the game, and also I feel like the grenade launcher on the laser rifle doesn't really have enough range. Other than those two things though, I really liked it, good job!
This is a really cool game, I love the audio and overall vibe! The graphics are simple, but the retro style filter makes them stand out. My one complaint would be that it is kind of difficult to move around due to the movement buttons moving around the screen slightly while you hold them down. Other than that I really like it, good job!
Nice job! That definitely freaked me out really badly, I think my heartrate increased significantly as my light started flickering lol. My only real criticism is very minor, but some of the textures seemed to have compression, turning them blurry, while other did not, leaving them having crisp pixels. I am mainly pointing this out because I saw one very obvious instance of it and that's all that I remembered as being bad about your game, so that's good! Overall that was very creepy but also entertaining, nice work! Also if you have time I'd appreciate if you checked out my game :)
Hey, I think this game really has potential! I think the title screen is hilarious (whether you meant it that way or not lol) and the gameplay feels smooth. However, my main issue is that I feel like I am fighting with the controls. When it is working correctly, it feels great, but a lot of the time I am trying to get the character to not fall off when wallrunning. I think starting off with some easier parkouring would be good, because I got stuck on one of the first parts for like 15 minutes. Overall however, I think it is really good and I would love to see it continue development, good job!
