Very thought provoking. I want to spend more time exploring the outcomes when I can get patient enough to slowly walk through it again

So far I've been using the docs and they have been very helpful:

The docs are also open source so they are constantly getting updated by the community.

The discord is pretty active as well and has help/question channels:

There are also lots of videos but I haven't watched any so I can't recommend any in particular but it seems they are pretty numerous.

I've been experimenting with Godot. On a game I would call a Broughlike actually! I like it a lot as it feels a bit more mature than GMS2

Excellent! Hopefully this helps "close the gap" between lower level players and the highest. Do bugs have a level limit? Or will the natural average level increase over time when more people get higher level bugs?

Please play this game! It's really good and will be better the more that people play it! It's an asyncronous pokemon-style bug fighting simulator...basically!

Very interesting! Do you have a estimate on how many players their are right now?

Hello! I just learned about the early access and I'm excited to be a part of it now! When I start the game it shows a pink screen and I can hear the idle start screen (I'm guessing that is what it is) and it doesn't do anything else besides that.

Here are my system specs (I'm on my old laptop because my main one got water spilled on it). I think I meet them but perhaps not?

Macbook 13-inch, Early 2009

Processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

I can't seem to find the first levels artifact piece anymore. I was sure it is a drop from a powered up enemy but I haven't found it since I found it the first time. Does any one know how to get it?

And to the devs, is it worth it to try to get the artifacts since the final level isn't in the game?

I think this will change when you are going for relic pieces and time is of the essence. You don't want to dance around for 5 turns to get the first hit when you can have defense and have a good chance to not get hit and save turns.

Are you talking about the carrots? I hate those things!

I just try to remember the power number only changes if it moves spaces. It's not actually tied to day/night cycle.

Not being able to wait is a feature! There is an item that allows you to do this actually. I would actually say that the health powerups do what you are suggesting. Give you health as you explore.

Seed No.:132644864

A lot of healing special cards! At one point I had 5 but lost some due to blending. I thought I was invincible but then stepped on a carrot who knocked out my blended 14 defense card and killed me in one hit...I think I may try the seed again to see if I can make it through this time aware of what the carrot does.

In a different run I got an Escape! Now to find the use of the Mysterious Artifact...also I hate carrots! I'm not sure how they work just yet.

First impressions are I would say the first level is pretty hard unless you send yourself a card in the rocket then it's much more managable. I would say overall the game relies heavily on your card managment and board strategy. The only thing that I think makes it a little easy is the frequency of health powerups. I usually end up with a ton of tokens because I don't spend them much on healing. I may have just had health power up heavy seeds though.

Would you rather have this discussion on the forums or is submitting through the game ok too? Probably here so you can give us questions too right?
