Thanks for the feedback! I like the ideas you gave for how to expand on the game.

Thank you for your detailed write up! I'm sorry to hear you had some issues with it. My design goal going into the process was to recreate the original Pac-Man as accurately as possible with a first person dungeon crawler aesthetic, so I'm glad to hear you think it's a very classic interpretation. As for mouse capture, the game does capture your cursor during gameplay, perhaps you accidentally alt+tabbed out of the game window and it became uncaptured.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear you got a good jump scare out of the game. I agree that it would have been a good idea to include a gold remaining counter, or at least make it obvious that there are 240 piles of gold per level, just like in the original Pac-Man. As for a system to locate remaining gold, I couldn't figure out a system that wasn't intrusive to the minimalist design of the game.

Thanks for the feedback! There's actually a hidden mechanic where if you don't pick up a coin for 5 seconds, you start to gain speed. This is meant to represent the fact that Pac-Man moves slower when he's collecting pellets. I'm glad the spooky feeling came across.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad to hear the glowing enemies worked so well.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! I'm glad the light aura visibility work around has been appreciated by so many people as it was my biggest design issue going into the process.

Good job! I like the music, and the sound effects when you move around.

Great Job! I liked the transition into a first person perspective, as well as the really unique aesthetic.

Great job! I like how you incorporated music into the core game play loop, and the extra features like the jukebox.

Good job! I like the narrative elements.

Great job! I really like the twist regarding the movement. I found it a bit difficult to time my jumps right to not get eaten by ghosts though.

Great job! I like the sound effects when you hit an enemy. I hope your finger has recovered well.

Good work! I like the upgrade system. I did encounter a bug where when moving to the next level, I would get stuck in a boxed off area of the original level, as it seemed to build the new level over the old one.

Good job! Very impressive given your time constraint.

Great job! I liked how you turned Pac-Man into a non-linear adventure game like Zelda.

Great job! Very good puzzle design, which is always a challenge to get right.

Great job! I liked how the music and level grew in intensity as the player collected more squares.
