So, im currently developing this game. At first, it started as a game for some friends because of an internal joke, but then I saw enough potential to say "yeah, I will publish it". The problem is, that apart from the main story that I developed, there are plenty of secrets that are to well developed but have nothing to do with the game, or that are too big, or that are not serious at all.
Im currently working on a mayor update, mostly menu/errors/quality-of-life changes, but I will add some serious changes to history and some new visuals.
That is why I want to ask you guys, should I keep in this path of having a main story, and then plenty of secrets that are big or have nothing to do with it? Or should I leave that behind and focus on making a good story?
Thank you for reading btw!
I so far compleated the game! Stage 4. I think it´s too long for a jam game, but I understand that you surelly want to update it later. Also, I would have liked some sound, even if it was only ambience. Besides that, I liked it, pretty good, it reminded me of TCOAAL with the rituals. I think it´s a good interpretation of the post-apocaliptic concept.
Btw, I would apreciate if you could rate my game, good luck in the jam!
I didn´t even noticed i spent 30 minutes playing! It remembers me the times I played fear and hunger. I would have personally nerfed the hability of the female character, I think it´s too broken, specially knowing that it works with every character in the game. I would love to play the next update! Luck with this jam, im very sure you will reach an high place.
