Hi! First of all, the art in this is absolutely phenomenal. The charcoal texture combined with a limited color palette works so well to create the dark and intriguing atmosphere. It's straight up mesmerizing. Along with the beautiful writing used in the world building, the game book itself almost reads like a horror tale. And I really like the concept of the Darkness crossing the line from a simple characteristic of the world to become almost an Entity of it's own.

I was wondering if you would allow me to translate this early version of the game into Portuguese, for free. I'm a recently graduated Brazilian translator, trying to build my portfolio, and I would absolutely love to make this game available to other Brazilian players. I would send you the translated text for you to publish, and ask only that you credit me.

I noticed that the third party license for Mörk Borg does not allow for translations of the original text, but I wasn't sure if that rule extends to this work, since it is under that third party license, but is not officially related to Mörk Borg. I understand if there are legal complications other than this one as well, or if you simply do not wish to have your game translated.

Either way, I can't wait for the Kickstarted launch! This is already an incredible project

I'm so glad to hear this! I couldn't find any contact info to reach you, so I'll share mine instead and we can talk either through e-mail or discord (whichever you prefer). My e-mail is coelhotraduz[at]gmail[dot]com, and my discord tag is microondas123. I probably won't be able to start the translation process before mid January, but I can tell you some of my questions so I can turn some ideas in my head in the mean time.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hi! First of all, I'd like to say that reading through this was a near indescribable experience. So often I fear that the world is helpless. Consumed by Worms. Works like yours remind me that it is still worth it to keep on fighting. Even if it doesn't fix everything. Even if we fail.

Your prose is truly beautiful. I don't know if I'll ever have the heart to play this game, but reading this meant a lot. It's works like this one that make me love horror and it's potential as a genre.

I am a translator. I've been working on my portfolio, and I would love it if you let me translate this piece into Brazilian Portuguese. I know you technically already allowed it on the Licensing section, but I wanted to ask you directly any way, because if you're willing to, I would like to discuss some of the translation with you, as this reads almost like poetry at times, and I would love to get your opinion on how to deal with some of the more subjective parts of your text.

Finally, I wanted to point out that there is likely a mistake on page 54 where the text abruptly gets cut and/or seems to have been mixed up with some of the drafts for the example of play. You mentioned the game is still in development, so I'll definitely be watching for updates!

fem!johnlock is my comfort ship this is bringing me so much joy!!!!!! I actually kinda skipped things and read this little one-shot first, but now I can't wait to play the main story!!! your writing is so light and fun, everything flows so nicely!!

Hi!! I've been using this as an oracle for some solo journaling and it's been a huge help!!!! I'm still learning the ways of solo TTRPG but this is such a great resource for prompts. I've been using the verb oracle a lot, and I'm a bit surprised at how much it's helped haha

Hi! I've recently gotten really into TTRPGs and this one has such a nice premise I was immediately drawn to it! I think it will really help me develop a character I've been spinning around in my head since 2020 haha

I'm also a recently graduated translator, and I'm trying to build up my portfolio. Would you let me translate your game to Brazilian Portuguese? I'd only ask that you credit me and let me add it to my portfolio. If not, that's okay!

I really can't wait to try your game, I think I might start a playthrough this weekend haha

hi!! this is such a fantastic game, and it was my first attempt at a solo rpg, i love it so much!!! i didn't actually manage to finish my first playthrough, but now that i'm more familiar with the genre i really want to try again. i actually really like some of the stuff i wrote for that first attempt haha

the setting is so unusual and so delightful!! not to mention very creepy....

also, i was wondering if you would let me translate the game to brazilian portuguese? i'm currently trying to build my portfolio, so i'd only ask that you credit me, if you let me translate it. i also really want to make my friends play it shksbdkdhd

either way, i love this concept!! one of my favorite one page rpgs for sure!

No, in the end I give up :/

Hi!! This entire book is so incredibly well made!!! I haven't tried playing yet, but just reading through the guide and learning about Sunnyside Bay and the ways the game helps you write such a heartfelt story was enough for me to get the cozy feeling it promised.

I'm particularly interested in the Personality Metres. They're such a great system for writing characters!! I might start writing my characters based on openness/presence/attachment stats from now on haha

The whole game is very well written and organized, and I really want to try writing something for it, even if I don't end up finishing the story (i have a hard time finishing what i start x^x). Thank you for sharing such an amazing project!!

hi!! just sent the file to you by email. thank you so much for letting me translate this fantastic game!! (the police still don't know i killed my neighbor for being too loud at night)

hi! first of all i love the concept of this game dkfjsdjfksd i haven't managed to finish my little campaign yet, but i'm absolutely having a blast (so far i'm getting away with murder hehe)

i'm also a brazilian translator who recently graduated, and i'm trying to work on my portfolio, so i was wondering if you'd allow me to translate your game into Brazillian Portuguese? i'd send the translated file to you so you can post it here on the game page, only ask that i get credited for it :)

either way you game has been a delight to play<3 i'll definitely try some of your other games soon

Hi! Just sent you an e-mail about the translator role :)

Hi! Is there a way to add more states to the list? I've changed their names to 0-25-50-75-90 and I wish I could add a sixth state for "done" instead of removing one of the listed numbers. Otherwise I'm really enjoying the tool so far

it's a very nice concept, and i enjoyed the depth mechanic a lot, but i agree with other comments that the way it works is not very intuitive, so it took me a while to understand how to play. that's not necessarily a bad thing, but in case making us learn through trial and error was not your intention, maybe look into adding a brief explanation of how the depth mechanic works in relation to the orbs and their plants :)

i would also say that, despite advancing a lot further after i got a better grasp of the gameplay, i still got completely stuck at times after using one orb to travel forwards, then moving backwards after leaving it behind. it happened with the red orb - i moved with it then left it, forgetting it was what made it possible for me to move forwards, and when i moved back, i lost the orb and wasn't able to move again to get it back. it's also an issue in that area where you move forwards with the white orb and then fall into a red orb area. that resulted in me having to restart the game and lose all my progress (twice). i would definitely suggest adding an "undo" button to allow us players an easy fix for silly mistakes like that!

all that being said, i really loved the game, and the art is very pretty which is always a big plus!!

i really hope you continue working on this project, and i'm very happy that you chose to share it!!

Hello!
Ive been trying to load your game on Linux through Wine, and the text doesnt show, probably because I dont have the font on my computer.
Could you tell me which font you used on the dialog so I can download it, please?
