Nailed the theme- fun concept with strong story! only thing I would say is, I wasn't too keen on only being able to swap dimensions a limited number of times- if I forgot what one dimension looked like, and swapped to remember, then I'd often lock myself into having to restart-
Otherwise, good job! well done
I'm not normally a puzzle platformer person, so I didn't manage to finish- BUT that's a me problem, definitely not a problem with the game! Sound design and atmosphere were 10/10 for me, very clever use of environmental storytelling, and a good amount of 'aha!' moments when the puzzle clicks, incredible job!

Hi- just finished the most recent video- I don't know of you or anyone else will find it useful but here's a link to a public repo with each lesson stored as a commit- there are some differences (I have Steve's movement calculated slightly differently) but it follows reasonably closely.
Thanks for making these, they've helped make the transition from unity pretty smooth

to address one or two- the controls are meant to be a little bit janky and uncomfortable, but I will freely admit I probably well over-egged the pudding in that respect-
(part of my design brief was to create something that took a fairly mundane task and added a dose of chaos, but that shouldn't come at the expense of annoying the player! I'll add that to things to review!)
I'm actually not too sure how to address the physics issues- they're definitely something that annoyed me too but I wasn't able to find a solution, given that they make use of unity's built in physics engine. I must not be implementing it correctly, I wasn't able to eliminate cases where the rigid bodies clip through each other or sudden macaroni explosions
The lack of prompt is an issue! if/when I update the game I'll add that in, and I'll see if I can make the bonus screen skippable, or run it more subtly and in parallel with mini game transitions.
Thanks again for playing my game and for the comments! they were super helpful and will get added to my task list for V1.1!
so I played gravity swap! very nice, reminded me a lot of Terry Cavanagh's VVVVVV, with a little bit of Thomas was alone. The graphics were nice and the trail effect on the character was pretty cool- as was the gravity swap particle effect- it was nice to have that visual feedback.
There was a few things I would tweak slightly- the hitbox was a little too large on the spikes- there was a few times when my character 'hit' the spikes without actually touching the sprite (normally around the corners) which got a little frustrating. I also found the gravity value to be a fraction low, so the character felt quiet floaty. left-right movement was quite snappy though, so that was nice. the visual language of the obstacles was a little iffy- the first level I came to the rotating knife/disk things I tried to 'collect' them because I thought they were stars. A solution would be to maybe make all things that can hurt you a distinctive colour- red, or pink maybe- then the player thinks "if the spikes are red, and kill me, and this thing is *also* red, it will probably kill me too".
I enjoyed it though, well done!
I played it and liked it, the gameplay was pretty simple, but compelling- I found myself going back a few times to try and beat my score.
A few things though, having a score table would add to that feeling of wanting to beat your personal best, and I found the spaces between the layers just a little bit too close together, so it felt kind of cramped. I thought the lo-fi chilled music and the bloom effect really worked with the kind of less-is-more arcade feel you were trying to achieve, well done!
Hi All!

Just published my first game, it's a silly/memey cooking-mama style game in the vein of the 5 min flash games people used to play back in the mists of the mid-00's
controls are using the classic WASD + space bar.
Comments and criticisms are welcome- my main goal with this was to make people smile, or at the least make that weird confused face that they sometimes do!
