thanks! I appreciate the feedback. The audio is always hard to get right for me, I should probably spend more time on it during jam games. I wanted the final boss to feel difficult enough but not so much that you would die on the last level the first time you encounter it, but it was a bit of a rush to get done in the last day of the jam.

The art is awesome, I loved how quirky it was!

I really loved the artstyle and graphics! Unfortunately I could never make it more than 3 rooms on my 10 attempts. I dont know if there was a weapon or something, but if there was I would suggest giving one to the player before the first zombie encounter. Some way to affect the luck would have been cool, maybe a minigame that if you succeeded gave you a better chance of winning, but for 3 days this is quite impressive, especially the awesome art!

I really enjoyed this! The theme interpretation was really creative! The art and music where awesome

I enjoyed it! Was a cute little experience. Suited the theme well. The only unrealistic part was that you got offered a barista job at all haha

I really enjoyed this! It was cool to see a fully fledged deck builder made for the jam. The card battler mechanics are simple enough to believe that they could have been on the gameboy but complex enough to have strategy involved. It was a bit tough to figure out at first but definitely helped by the tutorial cat. Overall was a great game!

I really enjoyed this! A great dungeon crawler that suited the theme really well! I was a bit confused about how objects seemed to follow you around at first, but I got used to it. The only thing I would have changed would have been making objects visible one block ahead of the player like the walls, so it doesnt look like they are warping at you. (I understand enemies jumping out from the shadows.). Overall I really enjoyed it even though I couldnt beat the final boss after like 6 tries haha. Awesome entry!

I appreciate it! The wizard enemy was a hard one to balance, I tried giving him a homing attack but it was too difficult. Thanks for playing! I look forward to your dungeon crawler as well

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it

Thanks! I tried to make the maze suitably difficult but I think I need to add a map next time. I appreciate you giving it a go!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I love this! I have absolutely no idea why there weren't more (or any that I can find) games like this released during the gameboys' lifespan! I reckon you could have started a franchise back in the day.

Oh my god!! this is so cute!! Is there any way I could contribute to the project? I would love to help add games like Kompy's castle and BirthdayBoy Fighter etc.  Is there any chance I could see the code?

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed

Thanks for the feedback! I actually havent played links awakening for the gameboy just yet, I mainly based the artstyle and gameplay off of pokemon, but im glad it was nostalgic for you! Sorry about the bugs, its my first time using godot and also ym first time makinga  dialogue system..   so there where some issues

K! thanks, Ill get to fixing it, I dont know what went on with the child, but I think I have an inkling about the goblin scene, i thought i fixed it but there was a null reference somewhere, something about the flute trying to access its ability over scenes, thanks for letting me know!

fun little highscore game! Iliked the concept and kept getting mixed up with the arrow keys which made the gameplay pretty difficult and varied despite the simple concept

I loved the concept! Was a wonderful game! I only realised you could check creatures types and stuff right at the end lol.  I had to give my dragonling away to get 5 stars :(   (all jokes aside it was a great game!)

Loved the game, and the concept fits so well I wish I had thought of it! The character design is peak, and I loved the sprite for when you got an item, nice callback to the wario games! Feels like it was made in the 90s!

I LOVED the art and music for this!! The boss at the end took me by surprise! (in a good way :D) and the gameplay was simple enough to understand and easy to pick up. I loved how there was no dying, kept me engaged and entertained. (P.S if it works, there is no such thing as bad code, dont put yourself down in the credits :( You all did an awesome job!)

Thanks so much! I'm happy you enjoyed the art! I spent wayy to long on it for a game jam lol, so I'm glad it paid off!

Thanks dude!, I'll check it out!

sorry to hear that :( but I'm glad you enjoyed! If you tell me where the freeze happened i can try and patch it after the jam if you want

I quite enjoyed your game! player movement felt a bit slow but that far from ruined the experience :)

Nice relaxing game!

I rated yours! :)

I really loved the art style and sounds! feels like a really old pc or playstation game! The mythology elements you added in where really nice as well! Love myself an ancient god based puzzle. Janus really captured the feeling of a greek or roman god as well, with the animal riddles and almost nonchalant manner, well done!

I really enjoyed it! the puzzles where fun and engaging, would be a cool idea for a longer game if you added more areas and puzzles. visuals where really good as well. Great job!

I tried to play your game a few times but my laptop doesnt have enough processing power to run it, it kept crashing after the first door and saying I didnt have enough video memory to play it :(. The cutscene at the start was rly well polished though!

Rated! :D

Thank you! I have rated yours!

Thank you! My friend who did the audio will be really pleased  to hear this :)

Loved the artstyle and retro feeling!

Nice little game!

I really enjoyed this! Very heartwarming!

Sorry, I didnt have enough VRAM to play the game :(. From what I saw it looked really well made though, shame.

Nice game! I quite enjoyed it

Thank You! I really enjoyed your game! The transitions between the rooms where seamless and the footsteps part was terrifying! great job!

Wonderful game! the painting puzzle was amazing!
