heya!!

good game and love the concept!! adding a "near miss" shot would be nice. it could do less damage and be a little inaccurate, but helps the player keep on the right track.

they used the sugar engine

https://trasevol-dog.itch.io/sugar

very fire would play again.

also, try getting a web build of this so more people play it, just a good game jam tip.

cheers!

-that guy who made that fish shooting game

yo so like the game works now and stuff

thanks for playing!!

Love the visuals of this game! feels very polished for a game made in 3 days!! i also love how to used the limitation in this game, making me plan out when to jump and whether its worth it or not.

loved this interpretation of the theme! the visuals were pretty good and the puzzles were very thought-out.

wish the game was a bit longer though...

thank you!!

im glad you enjoyed your playthrough :D

this game is probably the best i've seen in the jam so far. the visuals are done really nicely, the enemy types blend well with the game and honestly it's really fun to play. i'd recommend making a web build of this so more people could play this because this is a criminally underrated game for this jam.

some things you could add to the game could be screen shake to make shooting feel more powerful, and a dash that could kill enemies to make for some brutally fun gameplay.

all in all, a fantastic game.

a very interesting take on the tower defense genre, had a lot of fun playing through the 2 levels.

oddly, i couldn't summon the penguin wizard. i wanted to see what he did :(

oddly enough, this a mechanic i was planning on adding to my game lol.

really fun game, the harpoon body slam mechanic is really satisfying to do when you get the hang of

it.

although the third area is insanely difficult with the big enemies jamming you into walls and such.

thanks for playing!!

thank you for playing our game!!

thanks! i was planning on adding a little meter on the side to tell the player how close they were to the end but we ran out of time lol.

thanks for playing!

i was planning on doing a lot more with the sound design but we ran out of time lol.

thanks for playing!

morbin thank you

best dev of all time right here

im going to be real this was one of the best uses of the limitation I've seen in the entire jam. this game was so immersive, it really made me feel like I was bob the fish.

(1 edit)

im going to be real, i walked into this game thinking it was going to be pretty bad. And for the first 5 minutes i thought it was. but then i started playing it more and realized that this game is a work of genius. the movement feels really bad when you start but later on you can use it to your advantage to get the most insane level skips of all time. the lore of this game is very heartfelt and moving, with bill being one of the best video game characters i have ever seen and with his redemption arc at the very end. lastly, the soundtrack was amazing, it really got me feeling i was morbius(the vampire).

thank you TheWillgamer for making this amazing game.

in all honesty tho, this was the most fun game in the jam I've played so far.

this is the most game i've ever played in my life. playing this has truly changed my life and I now know what is under the ocean. thank you Voldite for this life-changing masterpiece.

however, there was a limitation on health being tool that isn't covered here sadly.

great concept! could use some work on the gameplay though. also maybe a tutorial? i had no clue what was going on for like 15 minutes in my first playthrough.

reminded me a lot of "getting over it"
great concept! but could use some work to get the game feeling less janky.

really fun concept! i loved the last puzzle. pacing is a bit strange, but hey with a bit of polish this game could be a really good puzzle platformer.

the music was really good! also the secrets were very well hidden and I had fun finding them.

love the pixel art for this game! reminds me a lot of motherload.

with a bit more polish and some new mechanics (like enemies and such) it could be really fun!

could definitely use a music track, the game gets kinda boring doing the same thing over and over again in complete silence. I do think the idea is fun though, became interesting with the difficulty started to ramp up.

all in all, a good time killer.

the visuals of the game were really nice, and I love the box dialogue when you first start the game.

however, the game concept could be fun, but in practice, the box will fall down so catastrophically fast that it's impossible to control.

I don't think that's a bad thing though, it's really funny to watch.

The concept for this game is amazing, however I feel like it could use some work with better level design and more fluid pacing. Being teleported to random rooms every 5 seconds isn't very good for pacing, and the power up movement is pretty good but could be a lot better if there was an indicator for which direction you can dash in.

I walked into this game without a tutorial and then got chased by 100 monsters right off the bat.

still a fun game though, i love how fast the gameplay is.

the most game i've played in years

love the mechanic of throwing your weapon and then having it return to you. honestly that mechanic should've been used in something more fast paced and more combat involved rather than a puzzle platformer.

also the spike placement on the last level is the reason my time is so long lol.

the cloning mechanic was very nicely implemented, and the puzzles were very fun to solve. however, I feel like for most of the levels I was just tanking hits and running through the stage instead of finding a satisfying solution.

very fun game though, one of the most fun I've seen in this jam.

i love the art this game and how simple the game is to understand. however, I do feel like the player is a bit too difficult to control and it honestly just feels like chaos for most of my playthroughs with it.

That isn't a bad thing in my eyes though, it is really funny to see the miner bounce all over the screen.

All in all, a nice game to play every once in a while.

I loved how relaxing this game was and how fitting it was to the depth theme, however, I don't think it really met the limitation. I loved the creature designs and how unique they were to the environment. oddly, reminded me of slender: the eight pages just a lot calmer.

a few gripes I have with the game is how the water looks, I feel like throwing in some particles and effects would convey the feeling of being underwater a lot better than how it's done here. Another thing is the movement, movement isn't really important in these types of games, however, the movement did feel really clunky and slow and made the pacing a bit strange during the playthrough.

but all in all, this game is good, and with a bit of polishing it could be something amazing.

loved everything about this game! puzzles were very thought out and art direction was amazing. very charming.

Although, I wish there was a way to speed up the simulations though...

loved the pressure the game gave with such simple tasks. loved the artstyle and sound design of the game.

I finally know how it feels to work at an AMPM now.

Very Original Game! Very small, but lots of potentials to be had. Best time was around a minute or something sadly lol.

Good voice-overs! Loved the game.

Good game! Not really good at horror games so I got scared by the outlines of coat hangers throughout the game a lot lol.

honestly the best constructive criticism i've ever seen for one of my games wow.

sooo to explain some of the narrative stuff.

there was supposed to be a whole other set of "virus" stuff that was supposed to hit the player after the ad blocker was installed (you know how like katfin tools was supposed to help the player) but that ended up on the cutting room floor because of time restraint paranoia. I do agree the narrative is a little bit chopped up, but hey I got some good jokes in there so whatever.

but thank you, for playing our game! I loved that you enjoyed your playthrough with it. the whole missing the theme thing is something I tend to struggle with but hey, it's still there somewhere.
