Nice job dude! The game feels really good to play, especially the slow motion mechanic, it is actually useful reminds me of super hot! The SFX is on point! Great submission!

Great work! i really like the style of the game, particles, sounds, everything looks beautiful! to me, there was a bit too much text on the "how to play" screen - but other then that, great work! i enjoyed this :) played quiet a few to many times.

Hello there, thanks for the comment! I do agree that the "how to play" part looks a bit tedious, next time I should try to simplify my words. Cheers!

Visuals are top notch, gameplay is simple, fun and intuitive.

I love how the background represent your health, it's really intuitive.

Most enemies nicely telegraph their attacks so you can dodge it in time, well done!

The only thing that i didn't like are the asteroids that don't explode on there own and you have to trigger them to spawn new enemies.

Here's my feedback:

1. Please, PLEASE, next time export to HTML5/Linux/Mac OS, i couldn't play your game because I'm on Linux, so i had to setup wine prefix to play it!

2. Consider adding camera shake when player hits an enemy and when player receives damage

3. Try adding slow-mo/frame skip for the same actions

4. Add timed powerups like laser and make the spawn more likely when player has low health

I believe this changes will greatly benefit your game, but it's up to you.

Hello, thanks for the feedback! I'm currently working on multi-platfom and camshake. (multi-platform & camshake should be released in v3)  I'll try to add per-action slow-mo and temporary power-ups if there's still time. (probably in v4, if possible.) Again, thanks for the comment, cheers!

this game is probably the best i've seen in the jam so far. the visuals are done really nicely, the enemy types blend well with the game and honestly it's really fun to play. i'd recommend making a web build of this so more people could play this because this is a criminally underrated game for this jam.

some things you could add to the game could be screen shake to make shooting feel more powerful, and a dash that could kill enemies to make for some brutally fun gameplay.

all in all, a fantastic game.

Hi there, thanks for the like and feedback!

Acutally, that "dash to kill enemy" suggestion is pretty valuable imo, currently a hiccup I'd like to improve of this game is that once your energy level drops below 10% you can do basically nothing but wait for death. (since fire a bullet cost 10% of your energy) And that dash thingy is just perfect for this situation!

Also, the reason I didn't make web version of this is due to my own experience when playing games with webgl was quite unpleasant (laggy). But I just found out that was due to some bad setting of the browser, so I guess I'll give it a try!

I am in love with almost every part of this game. Insanely well done in a 3 day jam. I would personally have liked an small introduction to the enemies as it took me some time to get to know the different kinds in a fastpaced game like this. But overall one of the best games

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you like it.

Really fun, and the polish is amazing for a 3 day jam.

Great work!
