Think the game glitched out or I got very lucky and beat it after just two levels? Impressive to make a binding of isaac style game in just a week.

Difficulty is probably a bit too hard here, especially with the text having to be clicked through (and the shooting sound happening while you're navigating the UI) every time you die. Shield could probably made to be automatic rather than holding button down as there's no downside to having it up 100% of the time. Otherwise solid and enjoyed my time playing it for the most part.
My favourite game I've played of the jam so far. So many little details that work like the earworms, looking like the fingers you play the game with, the environments changing in the background, the visual effects on a streak, and the music was wonderful, which is definitely key for a rhythm game to be enjoyable.
Small nitpicks: the sound effects for hitting notes are maybe a bit too loud by default and kinda overpower the music, especially when you're holding, which is a shame when the music is this good.
Really, really solid, especially for a one week jam. The design of the upgrade menu is very cool but slots could maybe be a bit brighter or more visually telling in order to be clearer. The shared pool can maybe make the one or two OP units strat the most effective and could potentially be balanced but overall really interesting idea to make having more units not automatically better. Not sure I totally get the connection to the theme, but overall extremely well done.
Nitpicking but just casue it seems like idea is to turn this into a full game:
- Drag and drop for movement is maybe less intuitive than click and click.
- Enemy pathfinding could likely use some work.
- Make the terrain more interactable for some strategic depth?
Loved the style and vibe created by the visuals and sound and the mix of 2d and 3d was very cool, especially as buildings disappear so the camera can handle where the character is. The music also stopped looping after a little bit but really enjoyed it while it was playing. I wasn't able to find what I was supposed to do but enjoyed running around the city and using the character's abilities.
The simple, hand-drawn art was effective in creating a spooky, creepypasta-like vibe. The pressure mechanic not being really shown made the gamplay sort of into just a very simple platformer to me. Level design could be tweaked so that player has to move left and right in order to balance the pressure gauge more maybe? Either way it was cool!
The visuals, especially the opening sequence and use of shaders to achieve that glitchy effect were very cool. Found going back and forth to get to the correct room to advance sort of frustrating but a neat idea if it could be controlled by the player in some way to avoid having to sort of play roulette. Level design was very solid too.
