My bets are on a Valentines release and it includes reworks and extra content for the romance route ❤️

If I understand correctly. You need to have Anna on 5 Hearts, then meet Anna in the Kitchen. See Guide & FAQ on the main page for more details:
Note - If you told Anna “Nothing at all. I’m sure he won’t snitch” - It is Game Over for this route I am afraid...
1. Would be awesome with the Pervert/Photography trait having a game function like Snapshot by Tiny Secret Games when you can take compromising picture of Anna & Co - Though likely not enough time for having this been invested on, so slim to none.
2. In the way you describe this will not happen. It would require creating variations of every image and sprite in the game which would require a whole content patch at least of development time. Though hoping there are options to keep Annas returns in the future and use them in the studio and there are more outfits added, as this feature is fun.
3. Most likely be more content like this, but no public sex events/CGs bordering on humiliation
4. Besides the scene with Josef/Anna at the start of the game (boring sex) there is no NTR in Starmaker, everything is consensual.
Dr.Muramasa can cover Questions
I know I go on about it, but it still baffles me why this information cannot be posted on the main page more regularly. Nothing major pretty much what you have put under a title of Status
EDIT - Itch is a pain at times so here we go

To replace:
Apologies for the delays. Version 1.8 is our biggest update so far so we need a bit more time to make sure everything works well. Thanks for the patience!
Which is outdated and just confusing at this point.
It is not so much about being locked in, and more keeping in mind this is a side project. Roundscape Eclipse is the main focus, and this will result in further delays to Starmaker. There is still a load of rework to be done, which will hopefully be addressed through 1.8B. Then 1.9/2.0 can be all about building new content to flesh out the gaps and conclude the story.
It is good to be optimistic, but do expect delays. It is better to wait a while for a good game, than a quick buggy uninspired one.
I would hazard a guess the Steam version does not come out in April.
1.9 you are looking at about March/April time. 2.0 June/July. The Steam version then needs an extra character and quest addition, then also needs to go through the approval process so realistically August/September going by previous development cycles. 😭
Dr.Muramasa can hopefully give a progress update 👀
However, think of 1.8B as a small content patch (like 1.5C) and not a bugfix release. With 1.5C there was a month wait, so expecting the same with 1.8B but means we will get:
1.9 has the following listed:
But we will be waiting a long time for further details and an ETA. Not to mention I am sure the Roundscape diehards will be getting a little tiffed at this point.
Kal has also hinted at a blinding new shader for sprites on X, but currently unclear if this will be used in 1.8B or 1.9:

Even with just coding taking on an additional programmer near the end of a project always results in further delays. While they get up to speed with the project.
It has already been stated there with be a 6 months gap between the Steam release and the next project. So depending on the scale of said project, this would mostly like be the time if viewed as a requirement.
Not sure you will get a full answer from this.
Let's just say previous projects did not appear to workout too well just throwing money at the problem.
It is best to think of Starmaker as a passion project. He does get lots of help for assets from people like Doc.
But the soul focus is always going to be on Roundscape and I am sure furanh will not be going home empty handed for all the art work involved.
But it is not just money, it is also finding someone who shares an identical vision.
This a question for me or for Dr.Muramasa?
If Dr.Muramasa, they ain't giving away the full formula but essentially Stable Diffusion with a lot of manual editing. Model, Refiner, Configuration and Prompts are unknown.

Alice does not currently have any hotel content?
The only characters currently with Hotel content are Isabella, Anna/Liz, Zuri (Joey with Share) and Ms. Kimura.
Sure you do not mean the beach?
This request has been made multiple times before.
While it is sad, the answer is a simple no.
The current images and sprites are static, and do not consist of editable elements which can be changed on the fly.
A single image can take between half an hour to and hour to generate and edit. Adding customisations would require multiple variations of a single image to be created. Not accounting for sprites which take longer and all the additional code required and bugs it could introduce.
Only chance of this happening is if Starmaker does well commercially with enough exposure to warrant a spin off after the Steam release, which would be built from the ground up with this feature in mind.
Note - It is also important to keep in mind Starmaker Story is a side project and most of the developers attention is mainly focused on Roundscape Ecplise
Will be resolved in 1.8B. For now set your resolution in the game menu settings to 1080p and this should be a workaround. Alt+Enter before racing also worked for me, but not for others. Depends on your system resolution and if you are playing fullscreen or windowed, so you will need to play around with settings to get past it.
To add further context all images are AI in game and are later edited manually by hand for further image clarity, quality and consistency.
There's image are direct from the game files and not currently part of Norah quest. They will be finished and included in 1.8B or 1.9.
While it is fine to dig around in the Unity files for personal curiosity, the mods ask if you do not publish them in the Itch forums. Please delete the image or the post will be deleted by Dr.Muramasa once noticed.
While you are in the flow of spamming multiple answers. Can you answer a simple one. The heck is going on with 1.8B? 😅
Not asking for an ETA, but with the major issues in the current release being
It would be nice to know what's going on. Plus two weeks seems rather excessive... Or is there more going on with this patch?
Bonus question: Kal posting his look ahead to 2026 soon?
Ugh that sounds disappointing. There would great potential for Kal to have a lot of fun here and get creative. It is one of the areas I really hope Kal changes his mind in the future and decides to do something like a "Living at home" DLC or something and really expand the House elements. It would be cool to make upgrades to rooms and the studio and even add an guest room and invite a new character. Really jumping into the simulation aspects of what the game could offer. With just two patches left, it is evident now that there are gonna be areas which really could be expanded on still.
I am really hoping this is really thought out:
These are known issues which are due to be fixed in 1.8B (whenever that comes out)
Anna, the gift and the stuck
Press F1 10 times on your keyboard and that will bring back the UI, then talk with the Anna pressing the speech bubble, say goodbye and you can move from there.

2. I have raised this already you are not really missing much it is when the game loads the same image, but no confirmation from Kal or Dr.Muramasa if it will be fixed in 1.8B:
This seems to only happen when the game attempts to display a duplicate CG image that maybe shares a Unique Identifier (UID) with the image currently on screen, the new image fails to render in its assigned transform/position.
The rendering system likely checks if the "new" image UID matches the current UID if they are identical, it may be skipping the positioning logic or failing to reinstantiate the sprite, assuming the asset is already correctly placed.
I would hope this can be resolved by implementing a "shuffle logic" check to ensure the same UID is never selected twice in a row. If using a random selection function, add a conditional loop or a "previousIndex" variable to force a different selection.
