Viewing post in Updates locking the game

I guess the basic questions to ask are:

Are you on Windows 10 or 11?
Do you have the latest Nvidia or AMD drivers installed?
Do other Unity games work as expect on your machine?
Do you get any Application errors in Event Viewer? Start Menu > Search "Event Viewer" > Select Windows Logs drop down > Select Applications > CTRL + F enter "starmaker" hit next until you find something that looks related to an error or information about the cause of the issue e.g. dll problem, runtime error something like that....
