So ๐Ÿ˜…

  • 1.8D: 15 February
  • 1.9 (+80 days): May
  • 2.0 (+90 days): August
  • Steam Version  (+1 month):  September

Call me cynical but going by history, I think these are more realistic release windows...

Hopefully history wouldn't repeat itself this time, I believe 1.9 would be delivered within the estimated time frame (Q1) as before 1.8D was released, it was announced that the devs may jump to 1.9 directly instead of 1.8B  as they'd already made content and the estimated update would've be bigger than lettered update.

April - May seems like ideal time frame for Steam release (also reflected on the game's official steam page)

Not really cynical, it would be a possibility by going on how updates are regularly done. But that is specifically why those are not release dates, are a goal/aim, in a perfect world those are the dates we would like to happen.

I see, If it's not too much to ask, could you shed light on how's the development for v1.9 coming along so far?

Will it be delivered within Q1 as speculated?

We just got the last of a content patch a week ago. My hope is Kal is taking a short siesta for a while. Especially with the burnout to come with what the Doc is suggesting ๐Ÿ˜…

True,  just curious about the development pipeline.

Yes, I agree with you. A reliable, usable, and available timeframe is necessary. The previous 1.8 release incident was an avoidable and unacceptable regret.
