adding someone this late in development would just slow things even more, they would need to learn how the project is programmed, how the systems work, as well as it would be adding another person to the list of a free project. The size of the team is in a good spot to what Kal wants to accomplish. The updates are normally released in between a couple of months (3 or so) and most of the times what causes the delays is the simplest thing... Dev wants to keep adding stuff. For example, 1.8 wasn't supposed to be a big update, but the number of reworks that happened caused it to grow more than expected; same as 1.8A, normally lettered updates are just bugfixes, but this one will also contain some extra content just like 1.5B did in the past.
No, I didn't say it in a blaming tone but to explain is by the players own decisions, the choice by having max intelligence is to bypass cases like this. Kimura will only do the bj when telling her you want more out the deal but of course it needs either siding with her or the 50/50, she's not going to do it if she gets nothing.
In regard to Emma, she has always been that way. You seduce her (not share of course) and just then arrest Mario. All 3 (Kat, Emma, and Sofia) can be with Mc when arresting Mario. As long as Emma and Katarina are both fully seduced then they will be fine with Mc. You can check the guide if need guidance.
So, I help but get told to fuck off. If you need a reason, Mc doesn't have business preparation, Josef and Mario do. And you don't get penalized on regular content, but on a secret npc, which is the point on it being a secret choice.
The choice for the 50/50 deal is obtainable by having max intelligence.
Picking Kimura has nothing to do with her Bj and ofc sends Kirby away since you just sold something she loved. The bj is a single time event if you tell Kimura you want something more out of the deal and you can get it with the 50/50 as well.
You dont lose Emma by arresting Mario, both her invitation to the farm and her new quest depend on you arresting him.

Ckyman summarized the reason so that should be understandable, have in mind that having those customatizations would heavily increase work load, a single image would need 64 variations to account for all the customatization combinations of the choices you gave just having 2 choices on each.
The minigames basically had the same issue, the resolution, but yes those are fixed, except the kitchen gift still softlocks the game when pressing on "nevermind".
The dialog loop is fixed already yes.
As for why is taking longer, more of the older cgs are getting reworked, some content is getting added, and some of the older minigames are getting some upgrades. So yes, 1.8B won't be an only bugfixes patch, kind of like how 1.5B got some content before.

1. Glad that you liked the quest. The quest is yet to be completed as it will continue in 1.9
2. Vanessa is not ruined, and she will stay as a Futa. She serves 2 purposes; we needed a nun character and also a submissive Futa, so 2 birds with 1 stone. The dick looks the same as in other characters, but instead of huge, is more on the small side and big testicles to get more play on that submissive side of the character. She won't be un-Futa.
3. On the case for this specific game, the room is not really an important place, but yes, more interactions might come in the future.
4. The aim wasn't to make her a goth as a whole, but it could be thought about. Not a main objective and other more important things take priority tho.
5. There is no real endgame, the sex has been a thing even before she was the number 1 Starmaker, she has sex scenes at the studio with Mc, Ken, Josef, Mc, and Charlotte. While some places like the "Shack" are empty after the related quest and could be used for some random encounters, all the places you mentioned have content, that being sexual or dialog. Josef and Adrian will be in more content.
6. This won't be done, creating other maps for the weekends would be too much work or would get to the "places with just 1 interaction" comment. The only change to the weekend trips will be a solo route for Japan.
7. Astrid received some exposure this update, and the chances for her to receive more are not bad.
8. Charlotte will receive more content. Most of her content is sharing Anna with Mc but there's a chance she will receive solo content.
9. Celeste's quest does grant a lot of content in the big side of things, she serves as an antagonist to Anna that makes sure you advance her story and meet other character (Livestream - meet Toni, makes you work to get subs, and makes sure you cured Anna's depression), she also has a decent amount of content, not huge, but there's 3 scene variations at the amusement park and the 3some at Starcon.

the endings will be reworked for 2.0, nothing is set in stone but there's the likelihood of one of them being a purchase of a mansion and getting 2 of the girls to live with you. More endings will probably be added for each individual relationship (the ones like Kate, Amelia, Himari, Toni where you select to be their partner), but again, nothing is set at the moment.
But unless something drastically changes, there wont be a "big harem" ending with all the girls just being fine with each other.

In regards to the first suggestion, this is not needed as unlike a regular vn here most scenes are repeatable by just going to a location. If one gallery gets done, it will only be for the few scenes that are not repeatable.
As for the second suggestion, there is no cuckholdry for the main character, it's all based on player decision, there's no obligatory share routes, except when is obvious like Haniya, who is happily married with Gabriel and they decide to share with Mc. The only case where a share is needed is for the Japan trip, and this specific case is being thought out to be made to have a solo route.
1. Starcon is being reworked and more scenes will be added for certain places.
2. Unlikely to receive content now since he just got scenes in the past 2 updates.
3. Really unlikely for dirty fetishes. More share content will come.
4. Could be, but unlikely since this would only work for the slut route and both routes need to be somewhat balanced in content.
5. Maybe, not impossible.
The share of Norah with Samuel will be 1.9 content and Gabriel received a new scene this patch.
There won't be a share of Anna with Mario.
1) Won't happen, as is not an intent to have "lossing scene" mechs in the game.
2) Amelia has content, others more popular have more but this is mostly an early minigame to get some money and advance Amelia, as most her interactions are via the Wednesday invite and then the beach scene.
3)The characters pairing for something after is being thought out, but for now is mostly just an enjoyable minigame, not for everyone as some people dont like it or find it tedious, but theres a lot of players that love it.
4) There's no need for this, as it would be the same, and you ARE the mc thats training, no changes of view are really a goal. The gym share with Phoenix could have more to come, but not in this way.

the first point is not a bug, after telling Josef about starmaker and been nice or ok with him, the conversation at the hallway happens and you telling him to go to the basement IS the sharing path, thats why his invitation can have dp and double bj for Anna. You haven't gotten and wont get the key until you have sex with them and then talk with Josef at his office. After that point he cannot leave via Isabella because they call it even and that he can fuck other women.
As for cuckholding Josef, not the intent of the game, you either kick him out or share with him, where he can leave mc and anna to have sex and not interrupt if asked for.
Little side note, Josef ED is caused mostly by Anna not communicating, thats why is instantly cured on the share path.
As for the costumes, some others will be used for scenes but not all of them as this would be an insane amount of work.
