No, using similar mechanics to an existing game is not illegal.

Well, no. The organizations that have been hounding the credit card companies, all the way from Collective Shout to the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, are all hard right-wing religious groups.

I'm sorry you don't like hearing it, but the people you support politically are the ones pushing this shit. No amount of you not being happy about it changes it.

Dude, the last thing *any* platform needs is crypto bro involvement. That shit's as toxic as Collective Shout.

The only thing Trump's "made good on" is obfuscating his ties to Epstein and sending the country further into Authoritarianism.

That's right. You're wrong.

Christ, that's a bitch, dude. It's absolutely terrible that they're not communicating with game devs. Not sure why SFW devs should trust Itch either, all things considered. Best of luck on this whole matter. When I've got the spare cash, I'll probably try to support you over on Steam. Already did here about a year ago.

Stripe has quite literally come out and said this shit came straight down from MasterCard and Visa.

With so many games having been relisted, I have to ask, any word on if you guys are getting relisted, or do they still have you hanging in limbo?

Yes they did. You just have the fool idea that backing creators always means doing the stupid thing that results in absolutely no one getting paid. Punctuation.

I think you're missing my point. Itch needs to refund us for anything they remove out of their own coffers.

Bold of you to assume that bill will pass, when the people with control of US Congress are the same political alignment as the people who pressured Visa and Mastercard.

Especially since one of the stated goals of Project 2025, the current GOP playbook, is the criminalization of porn.

How's it feel to know your "anti-woke" conservative crusader buddies are trying to destroy your game?

(1 edit)

Hey, I would have thought the developer of Dystopian Robot would be all for this ban. It's coming from conservatives, after all. You're all about that right-wing anti-wokeness, right?

There's not a ban on NSFW titles. They're just delisted from the search so that Itch can sort through them for what the religious right have decided is problematic content.

And there's reason to believe furry games are among those targeted.

The current issue with payment processors was caused by the religious right whinging to them about porn. What makes you think the current US government is going to do anything to stop them; especially considering how many states have pushed anti-porn legislation over the last couple years?

Are you, as a company, planning to refund your customers? Or are you planning to just rob us?

With all the games that you're permanently removing from your store front and removing all download files for, are you planning to issue refunds from your own pockets, or are you planning to just rob your customers?

Itch DID back their content creators. If they get blacklisted by the payment providers, NO ONE gets paid. The problem is not Itch. The problem is that banks can legally choose to stop you from spending your money.

I agree with you that some of the girls just... don't seem aggressive enough in how they're presented to be a boss battle. Like... Nile and Misty? I look forward to the date/story content, but they don't feel like they have that *end stage boss* vibe.

I am glad that you're planning to go over the Security Office with a polish pass later. The gameplay is enjoyable, and the the scenes, etc, are great, but it still feels like it's missing something - like it's not as polished as the Nightclub, and I kinda feel like it's because of that lack of explanation of what the place is, why we're guarding it, and why the girls are there every night. And that honestly makes sense, seeing as you were basically starting over whole cloth when you made it.

Looking forward to what you guys have coming up over the coming months. You've already come a long way since you started this project all those years ago. You should seriously be proud of all you've accomplished.

They explained schedules weren't lining up. It is what it is. And the new voice is perfectly fine.

BM Ari doesn't have any sex scenes, except that one in the Extras gallery. And she's got boulders on her chest, so not a femboy. More trans than anything.

Why would there be?

So you're planning two new levels/game modes. That suggests that not every girl will have their time to be a boss battle. And that's perfectly understandable. Gotta stop somewhere, and four full game modes isn't too shabby.

I am wondering, though. Will we get any sort of storyline for the security office/old club? Like, an explanation of why it's run-down to the point that weeds are growing through cracks in the foundation? I feel like that's a little needed. Right now, it just seems like we're hanging out in a dilapidated building for no reason except we were told to.

Gameplay already takes priority. But they are telling a story. In order for that story to make sense, certain things have to happen in a certain order.

As for the *porn* aspect? It's very common for porn to have to be unlocked. It has *long been* orthodox for porn to have to be unlocked, going all the way back to the OG visual novels of the 90s. The fact that some games don't do it doesn't mean it's wrong to do it.

If they didn't give a direct answer, it's because they don't have one.

You know, those figures of the girls you buy in the gacha store are making me want action figures of the girls in real life.

...If you want to download from Itch, yes. This is such a weird question.

It's really unfortunate. Her giggles and kisses did things for me. But such is life. Wishing her the best.

Edit: All that said, the new VA is really good, too. Just played through the new date.

Yes, it is important. The devs are telling a story. There might be elements that don't always line up because they want to give us something like an "endless mode", but that's outside and separate from the story.

Plot twist: We find out it's secretly Patrick Warburton under an alias.

It's the same game. It's Nightclub in the Play Game menu.

右上角有一个按钮提示,标有“修复”。在炸弹控制面板高亮显示的同时按住指定按钮,即可跳过小游戏。

Beating night twelve doesn't unlock the gallery. Playing gacha in the shop does.

You either have the demo, or you have it set to SFW mode.

There's already features in the game to help disabled people and people who just don't want to do the minigames. The game has a literal "skip" button in the upper right-hand corner labled "repair". You can skip all the Frogger you like with it.

The actual fuck are you talking about? You have to pay for one ASMR, and suddenly you think 90% of the content is not in the game?

As for how much the game has or has not made? 275k does not go far when you're running a fucking business.

How dare developers make money. Truly, it is the greatest of crimes.

Just use the repair button if you don't wanna play Frogger.

It isn't. The code is random.

You do not have to stay in-camera. Being out of camera does not trigger the loss.

She's there as a sanity meter check. If she checks in, and it's low, and you don't get it back up quick, you trigger her lose condition.
