Oh really? That’s good to hear, I was worried that color blind people wouldn’t be able to reasonably play the game.

Why is it that it didn’t cause you issues? Just because how few colours there are or is the saturation different enough between colts or something like that?

Yeah I realized that dont worry, im not accusing you of anything. Just take it as a compliment!

What a funny concept for a game, i love it. The little quips were great. No wonder he had all those masks

A very cool idea for a platforming game! Some of the puzzles had me scratching my head.

When first i saw the menu screen I seriously thought that this game was cheating (like that it was made before the jam started), cuz it just looked THAT good. The presentation of the entire game is steam worthy, straight up. The gameplay is also good and not what i expected at all when i first booted up the game haha.

Just WOW!!! This is my favorite game from the jam no doubt, and i dont even like rougelikes! SUUUPER underrated, probably because of the unassuming art, not that its bad, i started to find it quite charming by the end. But the first impressions are maybe of a less polished game. But dont book the judge by his cover, cuz this one slaps!

The design in this game is superb! An autobattler where you can reposition your characters on the fly between battle to change each encounter is genius, and with how the attack priority it really feels like youre making a team, with a tank and flankers and all sorts. The positioning system genuinely feels like it could be the next big thing in RPG´s, its so intuitive and simple yet so fresh and deep and Ive never seen anything quite like it.

The mask/weapon mechanic is also superb! Having each character be the average joe and having their entire functionality decided by the masks is such a cool concept, and i can see the depth of team building goes deep with this. Truly a great used of the theme.

The variety of stuff you managed to put into the game the time we had is very impressive, and each mask and weapon i saw felt really cool and interesting to use in its own way.

The difficulty scaling quite good, with you feeling like you get noticeably stronger each turn (if you choose well) while still keeping the fights hard but fair. Although i still haven't managed to beat the three beeeg slimes stage yet.

This is more fun than many steam rougelikes that i have played, and with more content and maybe with a more marketable art style, this would do numbers as a full game.

And yeah, just wow, I love it! You will go far as a designer I just know it. You get all the external validation from me.

Thank you!!! Such kind words :)) They truly mean a lot to me, and im glad you enjoyed it so much. Calling it a new genre already is amazing haha

My headcannon is that Mr clear (the player character) is going through puberty which is why his voice is so squeaky.

Adorable! The game looks dare i say, scrumptious. The idea of being a being a store owner that really doesnt want customers is very funny to me and is used well for comedy in the dialouge/cutscenes. One of my faves from the jam so far! But i am also a big fan of your youtube vids so i may be biased :P

This actually happened to me in real life

Super cute characters! A very enjoyable little experience, sending evildoers into the cold unfeeling void of space (and one regular guy while i was learning the controls)

Im glad you liked it so much!

Thank you! He is a little pushy but he learns to be more respectful in the end

I really like the use of shaders and visuals in general, its got a good atmosphere to it.

Yeah sure! I have never heard of portmaster but it seems cool from the research Ive done. Im glad you enjoyed it enough to want to port it :P. But yes you have my permission to port it if you want.

😇🙏

What a cool way to make an incremental game! Balatro strikes again.

Aw thank you :). I´m excited to see if mark will play it. And i wish you all well on your gamedev escapades.

Thats some high level pondering right there

Wow did you beat it?! Thats very impressive. Thank you for playing!

Thank you! And yes it is quite difficult hehe. I honestly am not really expecting anyone to beat the whole game in the jam period. Just try and get as far as you can!

Congrats! I've been following the development of Dawnfolk on youtube for a while now. Awesome that its finally out!

Jaboree video

There he i

What?!?!? Its crazy to find a slash jump fan in the wild! Thank you so much for playing!

Hahaha wow a wonderful game! Probably my favorite so far. It has so much character and style and is also really fun and doesn't overstay its welcome. Long live Spartacus.

A very nice short game with a fun take on the theme. I love the chaos of chucking things around at lightspeed if you mess up even slightly. And its pretty funny that placing stuff in the wrong orientation still count.

A really fun game! I wasn't expecting to get sucked into it for half an hour. A very good idea executed very well. Oh yeah and i also just noticed that both our games have comically large bombs haha.

A very cool game! I love the aesthetics and the shooting gameplay, but i was a little lost on what the generators do exactly, other than the big one who you need to shoot your main gun.

Wow, very stunning pixel art. Do you have any social media?
