Hello again! It's been a while!
Sorry, I've been busy. But I did manage to squeeze out a bunch of changes into the game that should have improved it drastically. That includes a better tutorial, subtitles, sound sliders, easier early-game quotas, etc. Hope you try it out! Any more of your feedback would be greatly appreciated for upcoming updates.

Thank you for the additional feedback! We will add volume settings and a better hazard spawning system soon.
The fire does not eat up any extra oxygen. It's only there for cosmetic effect, to help indicate that your ship is badly damaged.
The TAB objective system shouldn't be there. We will remove it in the next update.
The UI closing itself after the warp is just to get you out of nav mode. It makes the transition from navigation to mining more seamless and less annoying, since you cannot lock targets and use your laser in nav mode.
Repairing near the station empties out your cargo hold just to punish you for not repairing after docking. I'll adjust it to be more fair in the next update though.
I'll see what I can do about adding easier tab navigation, or if I should add vertical movement. I'll also see what could be causing the problem with the tutorial.
Thank you for bringing these details to our attention! I will get back to you as soon as I release the next patch.
Hello again!
We have made some quick adjustments to the game based on your feedback, and we will continue to work on making our tutorial more intuitive and user-friendly. You may appreciate the following key changes:
- Warp Brightness / Effects severely toned down
- Loading Speeds are twice as fast
- The laser no longer has a cooldown. It only has the 1 second charge-up. It should feel a lot more responsive now.
- Enemies move a bit slower. They were extremely fast before.
- The free-look keybind has been adjusted. Now, you only need to hold right click to look around. Right click + scrollwheel lets you zoom in and out.
We also want to clarify that there is no bug with the laser intensity, and that it works just as intended. Each ore has an ideal laser intensity range. If your laser is not at a range for any ore type inside of the asteroid, then you will not collect it.
Example:
An asteroid has only iron inside of it. Iron can only be mined at ranges of 25%-55%. You adjust the intensity to 56%. The laser continues to damage the rock, but now it melts the iron before it collects it, so you don't get anything.
All ideal ranges can be found in the in-game handbook.
We hope this update addresses some of your concerns. Thank you for your support!
Hello! And thank you for your feedback! We appreciate it!
We will definitely work on things related to user friendliness, such as subtitles, easier visuals, less junky mechanics, showing your PTI without firing the laser, making quotas easier in earlier days, better collisions, etc.
It is important to note a few things though: The thicker cloudiness in the game is simply there for looks, not realism. We found that without the fog, the game looks half baked and the screen is overwhelming to look at.
As for not finding the enemies, you must be a really lucky person! In the default waypoint, a fair amount are allowed to spawn and roam the map. It seems as if you've simply managed to stay well-hidden.
As for radar, the radar is simulated to behave as a real world pulse doppler radar. That is the source of the unreliable and jankiness you may feel when using it. Pressing "X" (which is meant to unlock a target) can "restart' the radar if it ever seems to be failing you.
Finally, as for no longer being able to mine the ore with different laser intensities, the game "simulates" the melting point of different materials. High intensities result in destroying the ore before extraction. Low intensities simply do not extract the ore. The asteroid gets damaged either way as long as the laser is on. The in-game handbook details each one's melting point and ideal laser range.
Please remember that this is merely the alpha release of this game. This page is merely a demo of our work so far and a way to collect feedback from users like you. We appreciate your thorough comments, and we'll adjust as much as we can to improve our game. Thank you very much, and I hope you can stay to see how we grow in the upcoming months!
