Cool little game!

Graphics look good and I like the clouds. The mirror looks a little bit buggy so maybe there's a way to make it smoother. There are a lot of tutorials on this one.

Audio is fine. I liked the music and the vibe it gave me. Your game use some sound effects to make it even more polished.

Gameplay feels a little fit weird. I didn't know what to do actually. I randomly jumped up an arrow and glitched out of the world, then fell in a hole with and landen in a door opening. And finnaly did something in the mirror room. The ending was also very strange. After that I tried to find the legit way but could't find it. Also the movement feels a little unresponsive, it feels like walking on ice. Further more I liked the idea of an infinity room and finding your way out of there.

User Interface could use some more polish but for a game jam that's not that big of a deal.

Overall a good game. It's not because there's a lot of feedback that you made a bad game! I'm just here to help you improve your game. Either way well done!

Cool little game!

Graphics are minimalistic but for a game jam it doesn't need to be more. Everything fits good together and has just enough detail. The camera effect is also well done. If you want to improve your graphics even more and make it a little juicier you should add more particles. For example an enemy dies it just disappears, maybe you can add some effects here. The damage effect on the other hand is well done.

Audio is fine, good music and sound effects. In a jam you have little time but a settings menu for sounds and music is always a handy feature.

Gameplay feels polished. When you shoot and stand still it feels responsive and accurate but as soon as you begin to move it's very hard to hit something. Maybe add a little bit of auto aim to the player so it feels like you are hitting more and not just shooting on good luck. What you can also do is make them easier to kill, giving them less health and just spawning more of them.

User Interface could use a little bit more polishing. I know it's a game jam and that's not the main focus here but if you want to improve your game after the jam I should change it. The intense red and blue color don't really fit together. Further more I like the font and the dead screen is really funny :D. Also nice that you added this distortion effect. I should also add some music or sound on the main menu.

Overall a good game. It's not because there's a lot of feedback that you made a bad game! I'm just here to help you improve your game. Either way well done!

(Deserves some more ratings)

Nice little game!

Audio I liked the music but I missed some sound effects, it makes a game more satisfying to play and can have a lot of impact.

Gameplay feels a little bit weird. It looks like every thing else is moving but it should feel like you are moving, this is because your player is always centered. Maybe add a bit of delay to the camera when moving. Also the gun doesn't point to your mouse. Further more gun shots feel good. The enemies also feel not that smart. They damage you once and that's it, maybe it's just a bug.

User Interface feels a little bit chaotic. But maybe this is because of the theme. The button are very big but don't stand out that much. Also adding a pauze menu is a handy feature.

Graphics are a very minemalistic but they don't need to be more for a game jam. Like the particle effects.

Theme fits totally into your game : D.

Sorry for all this critiques it doens't mean that you made a bad game. You can improve your game and make it even better. Overall a good job. If you want to ask a question feel free to do!

Liked this game a lot!

Graphics are minimalistic but still detailed enough, I like the little details like the shadows on the ground, the shiny floor effect etc...

Audio totally fits in with this game and the graphics, the music gives a good vibe. Sound effects are also great.

Level design was good. Build up slowly and editng feature by feature. Not to hard but also not to easy. I also think there are always multiple ways to do it wich is good for replayablity. For a 7 day jam there are lots of levels.

User Interface is clean and looks great. The sounds and transitions make it very satifying to even switch between screen :).  The only thing what could improve here is making the main menu a bit more alive instead of the plain background. And to go really into the details there are maybe to more thing, make the UI a bit smaller and the transitions a bit faster (these are very small details). Another thing I came across is the last screen from level 17/end. When you exit there the screen doens't close, maybe that one is already fixen since it's a small one to fix.

Gameplay feels good. I like the idea behind this game and it's a original concept wich you can easily expand on if you wanted to make it an even bigger game.

Overall a fantastic game. Normally I'm here to give feedback on what to improve but there isn't much to talk about here :).  That means you guys did an amazing job and that in only 7 days.

Congrats to the whole team for making this game!

This is a really good game! Graphics are really good, controls feel good, music is amazing, clean UI and a wonderfull intro (Even the transitions <3). Also lots of enemies with cool features and multiple maps. Can't believe you made this in 7 days. Because I'm here for feedback, and I don't have many on this one, here I go:

Sometimes a lost myself while I was dashing. You designed the game to be able to dash constantly and spawn a lot of enemies. It can be a little difficult sometimes. Maybe you should change the health of the enemies. So you can kill them a big quicker and don't need to spam click on them.  Just a suggestion :D

Overall an amazing game, well done!

Fun little game! I really liked the music and sounds on this one. It's also very satisfying to destroy all this stuff because of the breaking parts. The level design is also well done.

But I also saw so things that you could improve:

1. Breaking stuff:

When you break something you are always stuck for a few ms, it's small but noticable.  Maybe a way to fix this is also add physics to the things that aren't broken yet. Then you probably won't be able to get stuck most of the time and you can make a cool feature around this. Like the cat can push thing of the table that break. Further more I like it that flying debris breaks other stuff.

2. Objectives:

I have no idea how to complete the objectives. It says for example "destroy all cups" but how can you do that in 10 seconds. But the facts that you added objectives is a good thing. You can really do something cool with it like "destroy 10 blue vases".

3. Sounds:

As I said I really like the sounds but before you start playing you guys went a little over the top when it comes to cat sounds, or maybe that because of the chaos theme : D. For the music, music man good job :)!

4. Scores:

It's sometimes a bit annoying to always enter a new to add a new score. You can for example just add a highscore or if you want to keep the feature where you can see multiple scores with names maybe just add a "Don't save button".

5. UI:

It's a 7 day game jam so UI isn't that important but if you wanted to make a post jam update you should clean up the UI a bit and pick something else than a plain purple background.

Remember this is just feedback and don't need to listen to it. Overall you did a good job and made a fun little quality game. Congrats to the whole team!

I really like the intro and the music. Also the idea is very unique. Something that I should change:

- I didn't know how do spin the will till I found out you are controllig a character. Maybe move it in the camera so you notice it immediately.

- I had a lot of trouble to hit the characters. I looked like most of my bullets just flew trough the   enemies.

Otherwise a overall good game , well done!

Thanks! I went a little wild with the chaos theme as you probably saw thus all the sound effects :). I will keep these things in mind for after the game jam.

Fantastic to hear this man! I find game dev a little bit addictive so I did some overtime sometimes :D.

Amazing to read, thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks for leaving this feedback. I implemented this in the beginning of the jam and actually never thought of using sounds instead, will use this certainly after the jam!

Me too :D. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks! While posting the game I already knew it was to difficult but I had no time left to playtest enough and make it easier. Ofcourse after the jam you begin thinking of ideas making it easier and more fun to play. Regretting that you didn't implement them sooner. But it is what it is and I'm glad indeed that I finished it and love to hear all this feedback. I will add all these wonderfull ideas in the post jam update :).

Glad to hear you liked it! I will improve all these mentioned glitches and improvements in the post jam update. Thanks for leaving a comment really appreciate it.

Amazing to hear such a big fan of my game :D! I will definitely keep all these critiques in mind for the post jam update and thanks for listing them up.

Hahahaha nice to hear and thanks for the feedback. Never had that glitch myself but it seems you are not the only one with this problem. I will fix it in the updated version for after the jam.

Yeah I found the problem, really like the music!

Like the minimalistic artstyle and the effect. There are a few things I should change if you wanted to change your game a bit after the jam. Doesn't mean you need to do this, just some feedback.

The control feel a little bit floaty sometimes:

You can change this for example by adding some more gravity and also enlarge your jump force so you keep the same jump height.

The jump feels not that powerfull sometimes:

When you dubble jump but already have a downwards velocity your resulting jump velocity will be low or 0. You can change this easily by first setting the downwards velocity to zero. Also I should add a bit more in air movement

Sometimes the camera clips or moves back to the player:

When you are moving and stop moving the camera will go back a bit to the player, this is probably intentional. But sometimes it feels that you are going slow and takes away your ritme.

Audio:

The sound effect sound a little shrill but it's okay if you lower your volume. I don't know if you wanted some music in your game but it's very easy to just generate a song. I did the same for my game on "Strofe".

Further more I really liked the idea of repeating the level and always making it harder.

That I gave you a lot of feedback is certainly not because you made a bad game, you should be proud of what you made and this on 7 days. Good job!

Fun little game, I found it very satisfying. But I wondered is there no music/audio on game or is it just me? Also the controls felt a bit weird in the beginning but that prob on me. Either way well done!

I could only see half of one waiting line and couldn't see the UI, if it's a bugg prob something went wrong in the transition to a new station.

Good and responive controls, also liked the music and graphics. Good job!

Really liked the vibe of you game, good music and graphics. Also cool that you implemented a leaderbord. Good Job!

Cool little game, one thing is that at the second station there was something in the way so I could only see 1/5 of my screen.

Nice game but I had a lot of struggles with the controls. I could move with the basic qwerty layout A and D and than I should think W would be jump but you used Z wich is azerty. Either way good job love the art, music and idea!

Amazing game  and cool idea of collecting obstacles to upgrade. Only downside is that it is too addictive ;)). Good job!

Cool idea but it goes a bit to slow in the beginning. I also don't now if my game ended properly or just crashed when I walked into to go pillowhead man. Either way good job!

Well I fully understand. I do it myself all the time but because of time I just made a quick intro with some text. I will keep this in mind next jam!

A original game wich which fully corresponds to the theme! Good job. It was a bit to difficult for my but maybe I just suck in gaming :).

Fun little game. It was in a way very satisfying to play. Well done!

Cool game and a nice song, feels very nice to play. Good job!

Gorgeous and polished game with a cool idea. Really liked to play this. Congratz on making this game!

Really like this game and a very catchy song, thanks to you this will be in my head for the whole day :(

Very original idea when you think about chaos. Really liked the vibe and graphics. The only thing I had a problem with is that sometimes it looked like the color was the same but nothing happened. Overall great job!

Thanks for the comment! I was wondering did you find/read the intro. You can find one ingame under extra, normally it would play at start but it glitched. Or was the intro just not clear enough.

You are not the only one. Literally everyone finds it difficult, including me :). This is because I had to little time to playtest my level and change some values. Happy you liked it and thanks a lot!

It was a 2D project using URP wich is really good for the lighting. A quick tip wich I found out during the jam. Don't take a newer version of unity because while the debugging I only found solutions for older versions. And for the difficulty I know, it's a bit to hard. Appreciate the respons!

I struggled a lot with time management so I had to make the level on a few hours. Wich left me with little/no time for playtesting. I tweaked some values but never found a good speed for my enemies with left the game with a to hard difficulty. As for the sound for me everthing sounded good but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah that's the biggest issue with the game, to little time in the end and no time to change some values to make it less difficult. For sound effect I made some myself but most of them came from random things I thought about that sounds like it. For exemple the landing sound was a sweater falling on the ground. I really appreciate the feedback, thanks.

Thanks! With chaos for me came a difficult level so sorry for that :)).
