Cool game! I like the boss battle at the end. Just wish that it was a bit longer!

Fun, although a bit hard to make a lot of progress since the blood spawns all over the room. 

Fun game to pass the time! One thing I'd change is that sometimes you click on two bats on top of each other. Still pretty nice!

Pretty interesting game, with a lot of intriguing mechanics! Maybe a bit more visual indicators of what's in the floor would be nice, along with a tutorial and sound effects. But this could be a really nice complicated strategy roguelike with some polish!

This game has lots of potential to become a really good metroidvania! The abilities were pretty cool and varied, and the amount of content was amazing considering the time given for the jam. Really good game, please continue it!

Pretty good for it being your first game! Was able to beat it on my first try. Would be cool if maybe there were other collectibles or a more varied level design!

Really fun! The kind of game that you think you'll only play once but end up playing at least 5 times trying to set a high record. The game's a little laggy for me, and the vampire's movement could be a bit more snappy, but other than that it's pretty cool!

The presentation and polish in this game is astonishing! You guys work amazingly fast, and you should be really proud of this game! The visuals, the palette, the mechanics, the fact that the game has a pretty good amount of levels. Incredible work!

Softlocked myself by restarting the level in blood mode :(

Whoa, this game is super polished! The art, music and sound design are all great, and the concept of using your blood as weapon is pretty cool! (At least for me who hasn't watched CSM, hah). I think with a bit more variety of enemies and spice this game would be addictive as hell. Great work!

Yeah, it's way less laggier now! Don't even notice the graphics being worse, either. Great job!

Good game, but for some reason it lagged like crazy on my computer. And that last level was way too hard for me. Pretty great stuff!

Real good game, man! Kinda realized we made similar concepts, but it's okay, haha. Had a blast playing it! Only thing I'd say is maybe tune down the constant groaning sounds and add a bit more visual flair to the grass. Other than that, awesome!

Couple of things:

  • The game's really dark. Maybe it's intentional, but I found myself not being able to see more than 2 feet in front of me.
  • All the rooms look the same, and there's not really a map or any landmarks, so it's really easy to get lost.
  • Kind of weird that the game doesn't start you in the room with the vampire, wandered in the dark for a lot to get to him.
  • Could use some sound effects to not be as quiet

Other than that, not bad! Polish it up and could be pretty good.

The presentation is really good, but I feel like it needs juuust a touch more variety to keep it spiced up and fresh after 30 or so vampires. Other than that, great!

Hey, thank you so much for checking out my game! The spiders not dying was a bug (heh) that I simply did not know how to fix.

Don't really have plans to continue the game anytime soon, since the code is a spaghetti mess and it's so hard to implement stuff, but I'd love to participate in another jam~!

Absolutely the best game I've played in this jam by far! The concept is good, but the presentation is simply amazing. The visuals are simple and charming, the little vampire is adorable, the sound effect is on point. My only complaint is the game isn't longer!

Got to level 8, not too bad! Couple of things I did notice, tho:

  • As someone with no blood type knowledge, it was pretty much trial-and-error to see which blood types hurt me and which ones didn't. It's probably intended that you know about blood types before playing, so it's not that big of a deal :P
  • Once the little blood barriers spawn, it's easy to forget which blood type it is - especially in later levels with barriers being more frequent. Maybe add the letter inside the barrier?
  • A little warning icon of where the projectiles are going to be shot from would be pretty nice, just to have some time to react

Overall, I really enjoy the concept! With a bit more polish and variety you'd have an addictive little game for sure. And the music is a banger.
