Thank you so much! :> I'm glad you enjoyed my game! It was fun messing with the switching mechanic for the remnant, so its good you liked the implementation.

This is a really cute game! I love the dialog, the music, and the vibes. For a first game on a time limit, you did great!
There were a few bugs I encountered, namely that you could retrigger certain cutscenes (off the top of my head, the dialog when you escape Satan), and the triggers for locked doors are horizontal, so if you walk past a door while being too close, it'll assume you wanted to go into them. Great game though! Keep on making. :>
This is a really fun game! :> Very addicting, indeed. The negative cards definitely help with the possibilities with the gameplay. Only bugs I managed to find was sometimes negative cards would send the current hand score somewhere in the 900s, instantly losing the hand- and the score is cut off on top while in fullscreen. Overall though, this is a really cool submission!
For a five hour (I could never get something out that quick, that's genuinely impressive), first ever submission, this was great! :> I love the vibe the game gives (the rotating stretcher is very fun) and the use of a simple contrasting palette! A score/distance meter could be cool, but other than that this is solid, down to the sound effects/music! Keep on making! :>
I love this game! :> The dialog is very fun, as are the references made. I managed to get both endings, and they were both solid! I quite liked the ending art. The palette and song changes for the different time periods (I was not expecting time travel but it was welcome) was a nice touch. My only complaint would be the cursor being in very inopportune positions for all interactions. It was negligible though. Your team did well! :>
This was a fun game idea overall, even despite the deadline issues! I've never been very good at TD games, but I do enjoy them, and I can see a concept like this going pretty far! My only concerns are that of sound (either turn the music up, or the sound effects down...though I might be alone in that respect), and gameplay clarity (more clear instruction that you place the towers on the road, what their cost is, and a bit of a description for each tower).
As for glitches, in the second level (might be true for the others?) you can win by losing, going back to the intro, skipping through, and waiting for the second snake to show up. There is also, and I'm not sure if its my own misunderstanding, that some indicators don't allow you to place towers between them on the third level.
Even still, this was a fun playthrough, and an interesting take on bad luck! :>
Thank you! :> I mentioned it in another reply, but I was definitely influenced by Fran Bow a lot. If you liked it here and don't mind horror and disturbing theming, I would recommend it! I'll keep the overlay issue in mind for any future endeavors, as well as the color saturation (I usually go too unsaturated with my art, so I over-corrected). I'll be sure to check your game out later, after the required ratings! :>
Why thank you! :> It was a fun process coming up with what could be done with the idea of a shattering mirror and changing worlds, though I'll admit the announcement of Fran Bow coming back definitely influenced my final idea... oh! And I'll be sure to check your game out after sifting through those required submissions!
Thank you! As soon as I learned about palette swapping, I knew I wanted my main gameplay feature to include it. :> As for the deja vu scene, there is more afterwards (it's a bit of a chase scene, the glass tiles at the end are spots you can swap, unlike the "void spots"). I'll keep the difficult text in mind though, so thank you for the criticism! I'll be sure to check out your game after sifting through the required ratings!
Thank you for the compliments and suggestions. :> I'm proud of my dialog skills so I'm glad those came through. The overall confusing story is mostly due to my overestimating what I could do in time. I'll keep the overlay thing in mind for future endeavors, though. I'll be sure to check your game out after sorting through the required ratings! :>
Hey! Just completed your game :> I got the 12200 score after a while of exploring the mechanics (my first final run was 12100 and I couldn't stop there seeing the comment talking about max scores). This is a great concept for a game! It reminds me of Johnny Upgrade without the time limit :> My only critique would be to slow down gravity while underwater, as it was a gamble to dodge the raccoons at the bottom. Otherwise, great play! I hope we run into each other in another jam :>
